What is Psyllium Husk?
Psyllium is obtained from the husks of the seeds of Plantago ovata. It is also known as desert Indian wheat. The seed coat of this plant has the highest content of mucilage-clear, colorless, gelling agents. Plantago-seed mucilage is often referred to as husk, or psyllium husk.
