What I learned from the Seahawks

What I learned from the Seahawks

This past weekend I had the great opportunity to attend a strength and conditioning clinic hosted by the Seattle Seahawks at their brand new training facility in Renton, WA.

Let me tell you, NFL fan or not, you would have been impressed by the facilities these guys have with which to "work". From top-level weight training equipment, to treatment and therapy rooms, diagnostic equipment, auditoriums equipped with the latest in AV equipment, a cafeteria serving gourmet quality and nutritious fare, locker rooms complete with every toiletry imaginable plus a barber's chair for an old fashioned hot shave or trim there is not much you can't find at this facility. It was incredible.

Apart from the facility there were excellent presentations from the strength and conditioning coaches from the Seahawks, 49ers and Falcons (NFL), Trail Blazers (NBA) and from Stanford, Texas and Utah (NCAA). Valuable information was learned, great contacts were made and networks developed to assist us in continuing to provide the most up-to-date training methodologies to all of you.
