Before and after -125lbs... from 300lbs - > 175lbs.

How's everything going Stonewall?

Everything is great! We made playoffs for the first time in I dont know how long for my school. Hockey is going great no complainets there.....

Just over all busy lifestyle, just waiting for hockey to be over and school to be over, so I can just worry about working out for the next 3-4 months and go back to playing hockey 1-2x a week sounds weird doesnt it?

I have been following a bit of a different workout plan
I would scroll these images but they are a bit big so I do not want to take up the entire thread...

Plus the bosuball trainer my god I recommend these to anyone looking to strengthen core down....

other than that I live a pretty occupied lifestyle... 15 credits,30+ hour work week, hockey working out! God its so frustrating when does it end!!

btw congrats on your 1/2 way there weightloss!!

You look awesome!

thanks!!

Good looking routines! They sort od lean towards the specific "goalie" muscles, but generally touch on everything too. Hope all keeps great for you... enjoy the times as they happen, and CONGRATS on the playoffs!! KICK ASS STUFF!!

Well this sucks, We went to the Playoffs..... We won the semi finals like it was simple, get to the Championship for DIII And lose to a team from Buffalo :(. We took 72 minutes of penalties.. I made 65 saves for a 4-3 Loss :(... Just overall sad.

It sucks, It sucks so bad... I worked so hard over the past year to get to the shape I am in now... and I worked so hard in practice, the gym and so forth..... I wanted to win but you cant win games when the team does not have the same dedication you have, not fun :(... It is a learning experience though.

I had so much fun this year, I cannot look at it in a bad way this is the first year my school actually ranked and my coaches said I did a tramendous job as we had the best season of my schools program. This will make me work harder over the summer. I am taking the week off from doing any physical exercise thank god lol.....

Some recent pictures as of late...

And a picture from when we lost sunday :(

Oh well, I know more this year of what it will take to come back next season bigger stronger and faster.. I will apply that with more dedication and I will be better than ever.

Very TRUE and accurate words there man! I know you will be even better next season and hit it hard in the "off season"! Good stuff man, really, I always get a great lift from SEEING your dedication. If during summer break, you need some practice, jump up to Ohio, and I'll rip some at ya!! :D :D

Damn good school record setting season! Have great ones! :cheers2:

love it

hey thanks, I hope you have been giving progress with your weight loss as well.

Well I got straights A's this semester!!! i am really excited, I am used to getting my grades and hanging my head, but I managed to do great this year! I have been talking to the head of information sciences at University of Pitt and it looks like if everything goes planned I will be able to attend there in the fall of '10! I never thought I would be in this position years ago, my life has changed drastically....

As far as my weight goes I Have still been keeping it off its very easy when you work out and play hockey like I have been, I have been working primarily on half cardio half weights 5 days a week with playing hockey 2-3x a week.. it has been working quite well... somehow I weigh 185ish lbs? Lol I have no idea? I have more muscle mass, I am able to put up a noticable amount of weight from this year from what I did last year, for example last year I could only do around 500lbs leg pressing 15-20x this year I can do well over 800lbs, more weight when it comes to squats and leg presses. I am also excited since I have been talking to the pitt coach and hopefully I can play in their division 1 program.

This summer I will be taking 2 summer courses but primarily looking at other schools to transfer to I am 75% positive I am going to Pitt but I will keep my options open to me.....I am going to try to do what I did last year as far as work outs but I am going to put more emphasis on weights and plyometrix than I did last year, I ran all the time last year... 5ish miles per day running as hard as I could would hit around 33-35 mins each day as long as I can run 3 miles a day and then do an hour worth of plyo/weights I will be happy!

Some updated pics!

me and Marc Andre Fleury!

my Gf and I after her graduation

this was really neat I had the chance to play down at the melon arena!!!

thanks for all your comments! They are what keep me going!!

Your story is fantastic motivation man, awesome awesome job. Keep us updated about the hockey, it would be fantastic if you are able to start in net for Pitt!

Go Pens, I hope they beat down the caps I am so sick of hearing about Ovechkin. I think Fleury is due for a huge game.

I must say Burneeed, Like so many others here, you truely are my inspiration. I have lost 40 lbs so far (currently at 225) and still have a long way to go. I have been down to 165 before (I think I started at 260 that time) but I was still flabby and unhappy with myself. I crash dieted that time and didn't do enough strength training. I am 28 but hoping I can achieve resulys somewhere close to what you have done. You really look great!! Thanks for sharing you're story.

burneeed, You really inspired me. awesome change.
my name is Rafal, i'm from Poland, i'm 29. i started my change four days ago. i started from changing my diet (much more vegetables, no sweets, alcohol, no late evening meals) and walking. I walk everyday about 5.5 mile. i'm 249 at the moment, my goal is 176 lbs. lots of work to do, but You all inspire me to do that. when my change will be a bit visible, i'll start a new thread and put some photos.

looking HOT!:sifone: and you look so happy!!!! good for you!!!

thank god we won, that game was amazing to watch.... at least for a Pens fan! Ovi just has such a snipe of a shot its amazing to see how fast he can release the puck.
