Exercise Ball Push Ups

Exercise Ball Abs Abs: Side Back Chest Core Shoulder: Front Triceps

As with traditional push ups, this exercise targets the chest muscles, but also works on your core stability if done correctly.

Instructions

  1. Place the stability ball at one end of the exercise mat. Place both hands on the ball, then walk your feet back until you are in a push up position. Ensure that your feet and the ball are on the mat throughout the exercise to prevent slipping.

  2. Inhale and bend your elbows, keeping them close to your sides. Exhale and push back up to the start position. Ensure that your back stays straight throughout the exercise and that you keep your core engaged.
