I’m going to Vermont tomorrow for the weekend

So came back yesterday. Had a great time! Ate a lot and drank a lot of alcohol. But now back to dieting.

Today I went to the gym and did 30 min on treadmill walking on an incline at 15%. Will try to go faster.

Plan on trying to do low carb and protein this week. And IF. Today I plan on having an egg around 1 pm and dinner will be shrimp and veggies around 6 pm. I’m also drinking water. Drinking 32 ounces of iced water at a time. Planning on drinking at least 3 times a day.
 
So I went back to the gym and did strength training. I did upper body and lower body. Did not do any abs. Will try to start that tomorrow.

I’m feeling good about my day so far! I did great with the eating and my workout. I’m not eating anything else.
 
So today I woke up and was sore. I did make it to the gym and walked for only 15 minutes. I’ll go back later when I leave my brother.

For breakfast at 1130 I’ll have an egg. Dinner is going to be shrimp and veggies. If I’m hungry after dinner I will make ground chicken.

Planning on drinking water today.

So I went back to the gym. I walked on a 15% incline for an hour at 3.0 mph. Which is slow. I’ll try to increase it next week if possible.

I’m still sore. Tomorrow I’ll do strength training again. I’ll do some abs exercises before I go to sleep. I’ll try to do some modified pushups too.

Tomorrow I have to take my brother to his appointment.
 
So today I made it to the gym for a total of 50 min walking on an incline at 15%. I did 20 min of 3.5 mph and the rest at 3.0 mph. I strength trained a little.

I got my brother to join me at the gym. I upgraded my membership so I can go to any of their gyms and I can bring anyone that I want. Among other perks.

Eating wise I still need to work on that. I had an apple, 3 cookies, an apple figi chicken salad with 2 baguettes from Panera. And 2 coffee with creamer and Splenda. I also been drinking a 5 cal per cup juice. Also almond milk.

Tomorrow I’m picking my brother up to go to the gym. We will go to the closer one which means we will have to wear our masks at all times. The other one I usually go to you just have to wear the mask when you enter.
 
Actually I don’t want to focus on my weight since I’m still at a healthy weight.

I’ve been trying hard not to b/p. I am working on my eating. And working on my fitness. Trying to get my cardio in and working on my strength training. I would like to increase my metabolism since it’s so low. So I figure I can increase my muscle mass.

I’ll update about my day later.
 
I love that you are focussing on your health, Vic & finding a good way to do it. That’s great that you have joined your brother up at the gym too. Doing well xo

Today combined I did 50 min walking on an incline (15%) at 3.5 mph on the treadmill. I am trying to go faster than I would usually do. I would like to go longer too. But I’m just beginning. I also did upper body strength training. Tomorrow I’m going to do lower body. Before I take a shower tonight I’m going to do some ab work, jumping jacks to warm up, stretching and modified pushups (can’t do the regular ones yet).

Food wise- I had 2 madeleines cookies. Then I had 2 steak tacos with corn salsa. Then I had 2 egg whites. Some 5 cal juices. And almond milk.

Tomorrow I’m going to the beach early. I am designated to get food and drinks- before I get picked up- from Panera and from Heavenly. I will get my usual breakfast sandwich. But I’m getting egg whites instead of the scrambled eggs. I ordered from Panera and will pick up tomorrow. I’m thinking about getting a Jamaican me crazy hot coffee with almond milk and Splenda.

I plan on trying to get up early and hit the gym. But I’m not sure if I will get up. Today I was so sore and did not want to get out of bed.
 
So I did not get up to go to the gym. I’m taking off today and tomorrow.

Went to the beach but only stayed for less than an hour. It was high tide so no sand only rocks. Not great for kids. So we came back. And just had a bbq by my sis.

Tomorrow I have a lunch date. I’m super anxious. It’s in Salisbury. At a really nice restaurant. I usually hate driving out of my town but it’s a 20 min drive. I’m planning on having one drink. I looked at their menu and will have the blackened haddock tacos. This guy seems well put together. I hope it works out.

Today went better than expected. We had lunch and then went to the beach. It was almost 100 degrees. Luckily he brought an umbrella. I hope he asks me out for another date.

I had 3 blackened haddock tacos. I had a rum punch at lunch. Then I had one beer at the beach.

Tomorrow I plan on taking my brother to the gym. I’ll go to my home gym. This pf everyone has to wear a mask. It’s mandatory and so is wiping down machines before and after use. And there is purell at each cleaning station.

My sis scared me into going. I don’t want to be the reason that everyone gets C19. I did try to do 30 min wearing the mask. And it was fine.
 
So did not go to the gym again. Instead I went to the beach. First time since I’ve been in New England that I went into the ocean. I went all the way in and even dipped myself several times. The water was refreshing on a somewhat warm day. The kids saw me in the water and wanted to come in. I made them feel less scared about the waves in the beach.

I ended up eating a bacon, egg and cheese on a Portuguese muffin and an xtra large iced coffee with extra creamer and Splenda from heavenly. Then I had 2 beef teriyaki sticks. Some Spanish cake with dulce de leche filling and I think banana nut bread with chocolate chips. Some Fritos. Some rose wine. Just one cup. Some shrimp. And one strawberry filled munchkin.

Starting tomorrow I’m back to eating OMAD. If I remember in the morning. I want to drink more water.

Then H is turning 40 this Thursday so plan is fried chicken and Johnny cake. Issy will make the dough and I will shape and fry them. The chicken I will cut and season and Án will fry them. Issy is bringing cupcakes.

Then on Sat is h celebration. L and j will be there. Ar and my sisters. We r having a bbq. Hopefully I can bring just the wine. I have the burgers and the buns.
 
The beach sounds nice, and I am sure your bbq will be. Stay safe.
