Teen Trying To Fight Flab

I've got a pair of running shoes on the way, going to start out slowly with a lap around a football pitch every day and work my way up from there.

Confession time, today has been down right horrible and I've succumbed to the urge to binge.

Haven't got a clue about how many calories I've consumed, but certainly well above what I've been on for months now.

It wasn't a copious amount of food, just a few slices of pizza and several biscuits.

I'm not sure if you could call it a binge per se, I guess I'll just categorize it as my first and last 'treat day' and move on!

I've decided to avoid the scales completely for an entire week as I don't want to see any damage reflected there.

Time to get back on the wagon again!

It's probably been over a decade since I last owned a pair of running shoes!

Couldn't resist the urge to get on the scales, was pleased to see 102.5.

Thanks, I'll be surpassing my first 'goal' a few months ahead of schedule.

It's been a pretty good journey so far.

Farewell to the 100's!

:)

Hey lone rover, read your entire thread and found it such an inspiration:) I cant believe you fully gave up smoking, thats amazing, i dont smoke but i can imagine how hard that must have been:hurray: Congrats to you:) I also used to have a very weak spot for fizzy drinks i would drink a 2ltr bottle of 7 up or coke everyday, it was disgusting looking back at it. I used to have naturally lovely teeth and they have decayed tremendously over it

Thats so funny because i jump on the scales everyday out of habit too. Also your new scales look super cool:):) Well done for getting out of the obses bmi range. i wish i started at 17 instead of 20:)

Keep doing what your doing:) I cant believe you only broke out once, i have a treat at least once a week!! haha

Thanks, when I started cutting out bad food at the start of the year I was relapsing about once a week as well, but it's gotten easier to resist over time as I've started seeing good results.
