TGIF eh? I know I say that every Friday but these weeks can be LONG. Do I hear an AMEN?!!

Today is my long run. I'm supposed to do 8 miles....yikes so we'll see. I stayed up too late last night so I'm a little blurry-eyed today but maybe thats a good thing. keep me less distracted. lol.

My one cheat has turned into more. I had caramel brownie ice cream last night and it was every bit worth it. I was less this morning ;) but I won't make that a habit, I promise :)

I'll let you know if I conquer that run

man She you get up early! Just saw the time on your post.
You're supposed to SLEEP IN on the weekend :)

Been a day with family and hubby came home from Mexico so there were some uncalulated things eaten all day but I was healthy and still ate "normal" (whatever THAT is. lol). no workout this weekend. Need some R & R from the intensity of these weeks.

I try to sleep in on the weekends, but it doesn't happen alot. Ash is the only one who sleeps in. 9:30a might be the longest I've slept in.
 
Saw your pictures, I know I am slow at checking things out lol, you are looking great, keep it up! I am impressed with your muscle definition in your arms!

HA! thats quite the reverse household! Usually its the kids who get up at the crack of dawn and have to drag their parents out of bed! lol:D
 
Today I am battling intestinal....er...um...difficulty. I could only eat like half an apple for breakfast without feeling like I was going to hurl and then by the time lunch came it was 1pm and everyone wanted to go out to Chevys. I was starved by that point so I thought I was ok. no, I wasn't. In my ravenous appetite I ate the fajitas (brought my own lc tortillas lol) and I think I just way overdid it so I'm paying the price now. I'm just trying to drink more water. I feel super dehydrated.

One more week till vacation in Tahoe without kids. I'm stoked. Gonna be on my best behavior this week so I can be naughty for 5 days :D

That's how it usually happens, but now and then we get up before her.
 
Sorry to hear you weren't feeling well - hope it's cleared up by now. As for your vacation, you'll probably train off any bad behavior pretty quickly, so enjoy - in moderation... sometimes... :)

Actually its a better than normal day. My husband has 2 weeks off and for this week before vacation he asked me to give him my "honey do" list!!
I ate SOOOOO badly yesterday and felt SOOOO gross this morning. I went to not only lunch out, but also out to dinner last night on "date night" and although I tried hard to stay in limits, its kinda hard with all the "extras" and having a good time :D.

I went to the gym without breakfast so I could do calipers and bf measurements. cause I'm curious. They got me at 15.9 calipers and bioimpedence (sp?) was 15.0, so thats all good, its not as low as thought.
I had an AMAZING workout today. I did intervals and I was surprised I did so well on an empty stomach and eating so much crap yesterday:

10 min 6.5mph

3 min 8.0 (7:14 mi pace)
3 min 6.5 (those intervals 3 times through)

10 min 7.0

1 min 8.0
1 min 8.6 (6.58 mile pace!)
1 min 8.0
3 min 6.5 (those intervals 3 times through)

10 min 5.5 cool down

It was intense and exhilarating! I ran it NO problem and wasn't even that tired afterwards. The whole thing lasted an hour and was 6.5 miles. the worst part about interval day is that i feel like a freak running that fast while people on other cardio machines stare at me like I'm nuts. I hate that, its distracting.

I've had half a bagel, a cup oatmeal and 5 egg whites today. I'll have to make up for lost time somewhere. After yesterday though, its hard to eat today.
 
I'm tired just thinking of getting on the elliptical tonight! LOL Great job on ur workout!

Today I haven't gotten to the gym because I got snagged into my own "honey do" list with my husband. Convincing, he is ;)
Anyway, swimming 3500 yds is all today is. I usually do leg weights on swimming days but I'm backing off a little this week so I can run well.
Scale said 135 freaking pounds today. In my anger I officially put it away, so I had to publicly confess that ;) I also have to confess that my cals have not been where they should be. If I miss my snack mid morning I'm pretty much doomed for the day as far as making quota and I've missed it unintentionally the past few days. I have been around 1200-1300 cals. Can a body rebel that quickly and gain in response to less food? jeesh. I'm trying today but its so hard to do when I haven't worked out. frustrating. Although the men in my life keep me uplifted. Yesterday my 5 yr old son Ian out of the blue goes "Momma, you're such a super cute momma" lol. and Today even in my grungies and looking like a freak because I woke up and hit the floor running I got a "You're HOT" from my husband. So its all good. who needs the scale with validation like that.
I think I just want to be feeling great for vacation so 135 makes me feel very UN-sexy.
breakfast: 1 scoop whey, 1 c skim milk, 2 T flax seeds
lunch: huge salad with balsamic and ff sr cream dressing, 1 large chicken breast
snack: 2 scoop whey, 1 c milk
dinner: 2 c broccoli, 1c cauliflower, 1 chicken breast, 15 almonds
1300...but I'll try and add more.

Man this is the longest week EVER.

Today I had a dr appt early so I missed the gym but hope to go later since this is a running day. I can miss my "active rest" days but not running. I eventually swam 3000 yds yesterday and today I have eaten fine.
break: 2 scoops whey, 1 c skim milk 300
snack: banana chips-whoops 100
lunch: 2 c broccoli, 1 c cauliflower, 1 chicken breast

I'm really tired again today but I wonder if I just feel lethargic from not moving as much as normal up to this point. 2 days till vacation :D
