Omg, im SUPER EXCITED FOR YOU!!:):hurray:That sounds like the best birthday present evaaaaaaaah. I think this is just what you need to give you more motivation to shed the pounds. I am so jealous you burned 500 cals from exercise alone!! Oh i am green with envy!! Haha im so proud of you huni, lets make this time a really clean one. I ate bad for over a week and a half and i honesly lost all motivation to lose weight, i think thats what happend to you too. We have to stick to this together, Weight loss sistas:)


Also i think you changing your goal to 185 is defo more realistic and good:) IM SOOO PROUD OF YOU HUNI xx
 
I haven't burned the 500 yet today that's my goal though! I seem to do really good at the gym, but my workout partner has bailed on me! I'm scared to go alone because it's not a good neighborhood and i have to go at dark... I don't know what to do now. =(

I think that 185 is def a better goal since it's impossible to lose THAT much weight in less than 3 months. I am so happy we're back on track, and that is exactly what happened to me. It's almost like I eat bad and then i'm like ehhhh don't feel like going to the gym, i already ate bad, blah blah blah.. We need to stop the excuses. I know we can do this!!! Weight loss sistahs fahh life! lol

It's been such a busy week already! I am now taking care of 5 kids plus my daughter so it's not easy to be on here as much! I have been doing okay with eating, no fast food, and not really any sweets, but I haven't gone to the gym in about a week. The good news is that me and my boyfriend are getting our memberships tonight! We both got paid today so we can fit the memberships in our budget. I am so determined to lose this weight now, my dad booked the cruise and made all the arrangements so now I HAVE to lose atleast 30lbs. There is no way i'm going on a cruise weighing over 200 lbs. PERIOD. \

We have made a schedule to go to the gym every night at 8 pm so hopefully the pounds start shedding. Going grocery shopping for some healthy stuff tonight after work.

ANYONE HAVE HEALTHY MEAL RECIPES THAT ARE EASY?


I'll start the challenge where I left off too since I have totally neglected it...LOL


Todays GOALS:


100 oz water

eat 1200-1300 cal

workout tonight? burn 300-500 cals
 
CHALLENGE QUESTION: Day 12 - What food plan do you normally follow each day?


-When I am doing good on being healthy, my food plan normally consists of a lot of protein, and less than 1300 calories per day.

I went to see a dietitian and she reccomended a low glycemic diet for great weight loss!


This means protein in the morning (egg whites, jimmy dean sausage), and I usually make smoothies with fruits and skim milk in them, it keeps me fuller, longer. a probiotic for snack, like yogurt, and then more protein and green veggies for lunch, and dinner. (Fish, chicken, green beans, asparagus) GREAT OPTIONS.


Anyone looking to shed pounds fast, this diet is reccomended. It's not really just a diet either, I could definitely make it a lifestyle.

You can eat as much of these things (lean meat, and green veggies) as you want!!!!

The more protein you're getting the better.


( examples: (cod, tilapia, salmon are my choices of fish, they are only 100 calories per piece and have 20-30 g of protein!!! )

(boneless skinless chicken is only around 150 calories and has around 20 g protein..

You could eat 2 pieces and a hearty amount of green veggies and you'd only have a 300-400calorie meal..



Sorry to go off on a tangent lol but this way of eating is proven to work, and shed a good amount of weight.

I have been feeling a little down myself, but this morning I woke up with a whole different attitude! I'm not sure where it came from but I love it. I am so so excited about the cruise for sure! Where did you go on yours?? The membership isn't all that expensive! Have you looked around your area for less expensive ones? I only pay 30 dollars a month for mine? The initial fee is like 90, but it's not incredibly bad considering it pays for the first and last month and the gym card. Cheer up love, things will start looking up! I am a firm believer in ENERGY. If you act positive and THINK positive, POSITIVE things happen/come to you!!! I promise! Try it out!

Yes very busy with the kids! They are a handful, but the good thing is they arrive at different times so during the morning until 1pm I only have 3. This is when I will update on here!

EAT THAT PROTEIN WOMAN! Lol. I'm gonna try to do a tv workout while they nap.

Well everyone, I had a scary experience last night. Around 9pm I started feeling very faint, and had a horribe pounding migraine headache. I was putting groceries away and started feeling dizzy and really out of it. I almost didn't feel awake?? I was kind of just staring off and not in reality. My nose started bleeding, It was really weird..kyle (my boyfriend) quickly realized that I was dehydrated and made me drink 3 huge glasses of water. =( I realized I haven't had more than 1 glass of water in like 4 days!! I am always forgetting to drink water and I really paid for it last night!



GOALS : workout on my tv during nap time- burn 100-200 cals

WATER WATER WATER!

1200 -1300 cals/ 100 g protein



Me and kyle went grocery shopping last night and we bought mostly healthy foods, a few snack type stuff for the kids, but luckily i haven't craved any of it. I've had a weird day eating so far though..



I woke up and wasn't too hungry so I drank a small bottled coffee beverage. (160 cals/ 6 g protein..)


then I was looking in the fridge and for some reason tomatoes seemed appealing.. so that was my breakfast lol


1 cup cherry tomatoes- 30 cals/ 1.3 g protein


Made a delicious low cal smoothie!


mmmm Light strawberry banana yogurt/80 cal

mangos/60 cal

half a banana- 50 cal

half cup 1% milk 60 cal

water

250 cal/ 15 g protein


Lunch: Pizza hot pocket...=/ 360 cals/ 10 g protein

diet pop- 0 cal


Snack: 2 small cutie oranges-70 cals/ .4 g protein

1 glass Chocolate milk- 150 cals/ 8g protein


Total so far: 1020 cal/ 40 g protein


Hoping to make dinner around 350-400

Maybe fish and broccoli cheese, and i'll have 100 cal left for a snack cup of pudding. :biggrin:

Ah you poor thing, i say the fright alone was the scariest part!! Well you learned your lesson anyway honey, you defo need to drink more than 1 glass of water every four days! I find once you force yourself to drink it, it gets easier to drink:)



Smothie sounds UNREAL. Way to go buying allllllll that healthy stuff Amanda:):)

Yeah it was pretty scary and i learned my lesson! It's not that I don't like water, I usually just drink/eat what is the easiest. If there is a bottle of tea or diet pop i grab it, i dont think to get a glass with water and ice, you know? I told kyle we are buying bottled water, simply because i will drink more of it! He thinks it dumb cause water at home is free. Lol I am trying though, I'll start trying to reach my water goal!


I know the smoothie was AMAZING!! Definitely a good way to get fruit in and I might try to add some liquid egg whites in next time for more protein!

I knowwwwww kate. I had a horrible weekend filled with candy and snacks and no working out. I am bad on weekends!!! I was never able to afford the gym membership but will be able to for sure this wednesday! It's a new week and I'm hoping for success, it's so hard! I am scared to weigh myself cause i'm sure im back at 220 after all the bad eating...=((( The weird thing is that even after i ate bad all weekend i felt skinny yesterday and couldn't stop looking in the mirror. Haha!

Anyway i'll try to do better this week!!!!

Everybody needs a break dear. One weekend can't stop the next weekdays... I love reading your posts. You are self motivated. You are on your way to win. Just whatever you are doing, needs to match your lifestyle, taste, work hours and activity factor. After these, it's just matter of time.

Yeah I know everyone needs a break, I just catch myself slipping a lot. If I give myself a break and have a bad day, it's like I totally lose motivation all together and lose sight of my goals. I will definitely try making it fit into my lifestyle, like create a routine. I think that will help a lot.

Yessss, I just need to remember the cruise when I want to eat bad! Ugh I want to lose this weight SO bad but for some reason when i'm eating terrible I don't feel like it has long term effects and i just keep doing it. I really just need to stop flip flopping. I do so great for like 3-4 days and then eat bad and don't stop!

This christmas challenge will help a lot I think. I'm sooo glad you created it! =)

We better be into the 100's by the end of it!!!!!!!!! That is my first big goal!
