When I eat a good amount of protein and lean green veggies, and less sugar it does wonders! I feel like a new person. I will have to try a few of those spices more often and see if there's any changes.
I have been taking the metformin for 3 weeks now and have noticed a change in my energy level, I am more motivated to clean house, leave the house, etc.. I started taking birth control with it and have noticed my cycle is also becoming normal (or at least I have one now)..
It sounds like the metformin really is helping you. I've never been a fan of birth control myself because it caused problems for me, but everyone is different and I don't have any knowledge of PCOS, so if it is helping you then that is the main thing. I've gone through not having energy to clean house and also not feeling like leaving the house as well. It's awful when you feel that way. I hope you continue to feel better. Don't ever give up. Stay strong and determined. If we stay focused we WILL reach our goals. Best of luck Time4change!
