Snack: 5 Target Good and Gather Fruit Strips (250 cal.)

Dinner: Sizzling Shrimp (130 cal.), Black Pepper Angus Beef (180 cal.), 1 side of Chow Mein (510 cal.) all from Panda Express.

Sorry about the late posting (Its a wonder I can post at all since Toby keeps jumping on my desk and blocks my view of the computer!) Anyway, I decent day though I should have avoided the Girl Scout cookies. They gave it to us at work to say thanks and I ate some before giving them to a co-worker. I wish I hadn't ate any because I felt a little nauseous.

I also went to a meetup after work and had dinner there. I did pretty good considering thier menu was mainly burgers and fries.

I keep forgetting to put pictures up but I finally added one. I had my appointment with the nutritionist that went pretty good. I got some information about controlling craving that I need to look at. I stopped by the store and almost got some sweets but I stopped myself and got sushi instead. Though unfortunately got a Cherry Coke.

Hopefully, you'll be able to make some changes, Matt. Seeing a nutritionist is a very good start. That burrito bowl looks delicious :)

I did pretty well for a Saturday. Also I just remembered Friday was the 2 year anniversary of the day I had to say goodbye to Misty. I still miss her.

I was doing well until about dinner time. I had planned on making a dish w/Eggplant and I settled on a Spaghetti dish. It was ok but I was still hungry and I had gotten sick earlier I won't get graphic so I'll describe it in a emoji: :poop:, so I went to Dash In. I thought if I just go the sliders and fries it wouldn't do too much harm, then I had a really bad craving for sweets. I tried to fight it with some of the exercises but failed oh well.

Dinner: Meatballs (550 cal.) w/Caribbean vegetables (400 cal.)

Drinks: 3 cups of Diet Iced tea.

For some reason I was still hungry after lunch so I ate some mashed potatoes and toast. I forgot to do the exercises on the form I got. Also for some reason I had a back ache.
 
Readymeals are often low in volume, fiber, and sometimes protein for their amount of calories and when that's the case they aren't very filling.

I should probably eat more chicken since it keeps me full. Only problem is the chicken seem to take forever to cook, like 30 minutes. I kept the heat medium-low because anything hotter and the oil would start sp8itting out of the pan. Also the entries not wrong I basically ate the same thing for lunch and dinner.

I think sometimes my emotional state can affect my eating habits. When I'm happy or depressed I tend to eat more. Today I was in a good mood and felt I accomplished something so I had Chic Fil A and I had some sweets. I left early for work because I had to take Tobi to a very overdue vet appointment. The vet said Tobi looked really good considering she was a feral and I found out Tobi is actually a girl cat! So I'm calling her Tobi instead of Toby. She's also older than I thought, she's about 8-10.

About the chicken taking forever to cook: you could butterfly or dice the meat before frying and easily halve your cooking time.

If the oil doesn't at least sizzle when you add the meat to the pan you aren't searing it. Searing means the heat is so high that the food browns super quickly, which isn't something you'd do with a whole chicken breast (because the outside would burn long before the inside was cooked) unless it's already been cooked but not browned (like sous-vide) or if you're just adding some color/flavor before a longer, slower cook in the oven or in a simmering sauce.

I ate a little too much so I skipped dinner. I went to another meetup and I was tempted to get some food, but I decided against it. I consider it a small victory I was able to not eat until I'm stuffed. I finally hung up my blinds I got some where you don't need to use any tools.

Blinds looking very neat! I tend to overeat when I skip meals but not eating until you're stuffed is always a victory.

I switched days so I actually had to go into the office. I decided to get a breakfast sandwich and the only thing they had was the burrito. My breaks are back to an hour so I can actually go out to eat.
 
I only know tater tots from the infamous Duggar casserole: are they like little clumps of hash brown or more like croquettes?

I need to watch the calories and maybe snack less. I walked less than yesterday but I walked a brisker pace than before. What's weird is that I had a craving for oranges after walking/

I spent a good chunk of the day helping my father fix his computer. He called me yesterday and I thought it was nothing at first (he's really bad with technology), but he has BSOD error and we had to recovery the drive meaning going back to when he bought the computer.

I need to start walking more on the weekends and I need to start posting more photos of what eat, to illustrate what Im having also in case I'm getting the portion size wrong. When I was writing this I was amazed at the amount of calories a Garden Salad has, even accounting for the fact I took out all the croutons.

Also If I had avoided the Dr. Pepper and didn't have several drinks, my calories count would have been lower. Once again I was tempted to eat when I went out but I thought against it.

I succumbed to temptation first of having First Watch which I regret because while the Waffle was good, my eggs were absolutely anemic, and I never got the side of Potatoes I ordered. Also having pizza because I felt awful after I ate it. As I went to throw away the pizza box I caught Tobi stealing a bite or 2 of pizza. I didn't know cats like pizza!
 
Cats definitely shouldn't be having pizza but afaik they'll often try anything high in fat. Kudos to you for tracking everything and writing it down even if it doesn't look good. I'm going to guess that 95% of the calories in that salad were in the dressing and croutons.
