Matt's Diary pt 2 Electric Boogaloo

That last one looks like an excellent day. Very light dinner but lots of nutrients.
It was light but pretty good. The only thing was the Zoodles came out a little soggy.

Kind of a miserable day. I was tired most of the day and then I had a dental appointment, so at least I got to leave work early.

Hope the dentist wasn't too rough. Looks like you caught yourself pretty well with that dinner even if lunch was just snacks.

Yeah I tried to tone dinner down since I had some snacks during the day.

I ate too much today, which is been a trend this week as I've been eating more than in the past. I'm going to have to tone it down a bit because I don't want to get back into my bad habits.

Looks like breakfast is the meal where you really go big (and carb heavy). Do you wake up very hungry?

I did a lot better today then I have with past Saturdays. When I left the scallops and shrimp out to thaw, Toby stole a piece of shrimp. Also the eggs had a little more calories, since I used a recipe from Gordon Ramsay which ended up really good but had sour cream and butter.

Isn't it always so with cheffy recipes? Half the reason fancy restaurants have such small portions seem to they're all butter and cream.
Or I'll be hungry at night and I'll just go to bed and tell my self I'll eat in the morning.
Adding more fibrous/green veggies to your dinner might help with that.

Today wasn't too bad. For lunch I also made some cauliflower risotto I got a Target, but unfortunately it tasted gross so I threw it out. I gained about a pound though I'm dreading what Tuesday will be.

Shame about the cauliflower. Was it supposed to be low-carb risotto or risotto with cauliflower mixed in? The former sounds like a terrible marketing idea to me, given that the main difference between risotto and normal rice is the amount of starch, but then marketing companies will call anything anything to make a sale.

Yeah they have a lot of Cauliflower alternatives to different foods like cauliflower mashed potatoes, even cauliflower buffalo wings!
