Just got back from my parents...Monday is start over day...and ladies thank you for taking me so seriously...*lol* I am sure you will do a great job getting me back to the gym .

Took off the few pounds I put on at x-mas,...Ok serious gym business again..Remember your instructions :p

MADE IT TO THE GYM..however forgot it was a stat holiday and it closed 20 minutes after I got there...so I did the eliptical and as soon as I got on I knew every was going to be ok....I missed the workout and it felt good...pumped to get there tomorrow...but y'all gotta still make sure I stick to my word!!!!!

I'm not much of a coffee drinker, but I do wish I could sit back at the kitchen table, with both hands wrapped around a steamy cup, and relax as the school bus door slams with my little ones safely on their way to school! There is just something so "wonderful" about that image in my mind. Not quite the same with a sweaty can of diet pepsi! :)

Glad you had a good day! And even a trip to the gym!

Cleaned this house spick and span from top to bottom..(big house) had my work out...its amazing did the same work out that I did always before the holidays....feeling it in my butt and arms today...amazing what a week off will do...also going to paint last room in basment tonight...my oldest daughters room...she wants magenta and black in her room...I must put on my special mom powers cape and see what I can do to "suggest" another color scheme...mommy is not feeling the magenta and black...perhaps in a night club,...not a (my daughters) bedroom. :eek:


OK we are working on a blue them now....mommy is feeling much happier...now to talk her out of the lightening bolt ...ok ok...she likes drama!!!!!!!...I can work with that...(gonna just keep saying that to myself over and over again)

Just cleaning your house alone was probably quite a workout! When I cleaned my small apartment a few days ago I was breaking a sweat! And painting-oy, there's a nice arm workout! I wanted to do a black and maroon scheme in my bedroom when I first got my apartment, but they're both very hard colors to paint, not to mention an eyesore after a few weeks...luckily I realized and changed my mind. Now I have a nice lilac decor going on, much more soothing. Good luck with changing your daughter's mind! Maybe you should suggest doing a sponge paint technique, like saying she can have a magenta-ish background and then you can sponge a pretty pink over it to soften it or something.
 
paint update....a very nice blue on white (graphic design)...silver accents..big white cirlce rug...(very gap looking) get the picture...mom and daughter both happy :) Whew...taking off my super mom cape..going to bed....

Oh Fuunkymonk...you sound like you enjoy painting too....Once we are done I will post a pic ...think its going to look really good.

Shoveled my drive way and neighbours on either side. Slow light and fluffy...about five inches deep...thought I would get the excersize as I am a chicken when it comes to driving in the snow and here it takes a while to get the roads cleared,...since its still coming down...me thinks the gym might not be happening tonight. Plus I can then finish the painting.

How bout some melted snow?

Kids home from school due to snow....SNOW DAY!!!!!! yeah....winds sooooo cold,..but they insist on playin in it....brrrr.... I will watch from the window and make the cocoa. Anyway...no gym last night due to the road conditions...I am feeling really sluggish and I want to get to the gym...I did a lil routine at home with my video but I dont work nearly as hard at home as I do on the machines at the gym. Dont know why that is.
I am still really motivated,...but still dont feel in it...its ok though...its just circumstance not will power that is preventing me.


Neighbours invited us over for a new years visit...had 2 small peices of veg. pizza and some ceasar salad...adn two glasses of red wine......lovely visit.

Sounds like you're still doing a great job. I bet getting out there and making a snowman with the kids would be good exercise!

Hubby and I went out shopping and bought all the fixtures for the basement lighting and bathroom,....which took several hours due to price shopping and well lets say (difference in taste,..opps I mean "escetics"). Needless to say we were hungry when it was all said and done so we brought greek food home for everyone. This is my weekness,... I love it, I could bath in tzaziki sauce. This morning I am still full. :eek: . I did go downstairs and paint last night for a couple of hours,...but its not like a I break a sweat or anything. Going to buy some slim fast today,...this will get me back on track....supposed to snow some more and there are so many hills around us....Going to make it to the gym before it hits,..Today I will be sooooo good,...and Monday it back to the pre season routine. RIP tzaziki. Amen.
