Busy, crazy hectic day (took the kids to the nutcracker today,,,word to the wise no matter how pretty the costumes and no matter how much they love ballerinas, two hours is too long for a two year and a half year old to sit and watch ballet..nuff said :p )

Ok, what did I eat????

Nothing but coffee and water until 4 pm @ hair salon before the ballet. Oh did I mention I misplaced the ballet tickets in the am...and that the day was busy, crazy and hectic

Late lunch/early dinner
Mesa chicken salad @ red robin
2 diet coke
4 or 5 pieces of calamari
water

Christmas party in evening
2 cups non alchoholic punch
diet coke
2 sm plate of veggies and fruit a few cracker and some prawns
no goodies

glass of red wine
 
Sunday I ate well but picked at a few things like the kids fries,..(had about 5-10) nothing major, but I could do without it, especially during this season. No formal excersize on the weekend, as there was lots on the adgenda. This week might be a lil hard to get to the gym as I have to paint the basement walls before we have the flooring put in on the weekend.
Took off 2.5 lbs this week.

Monday

went to the gym for 45 min

Painted last night until 3AM, (yes I am a bit of night owl when it comes to projects) But I want my floors in this weekend!!!! (I am a messy painter, so paint first, floors second) Anyhooooooo....around midnight I needed an energy boost

3/4 OJ
1/2 no fat yogurt
5 mini rice cakes

what makes you think that painting isn't exercise?

You really had a busy time and if you are up until three am working, no wonder u need something else besides dinner. If I have an early dinner (5.30-6.00) I usually need something around 9.00. If I don't I wake up hungry in the middle of the night. Keep up the great work:):)
 
It sounds like your doing terrific!! Take it from me, a housewife, cleaning the house really counts for excersize. Now you know i'm talking more than folding towels, but as long as you get your heartrate up, it counts! Congrat's on your weight loss! I think i'd starve to death if I ate what you did!! Keep up the good work Jennifer!
 
Thanks ladies,

I agree it is excersize, as to lift my arms to day I am saying "ow" . The go to the gym to excersize thing also falls in line with my all or nothing diet philosophy. I guess what it boils down to if I falls out of my routine I find it sooooo hard to get back into it with the same momentum. I have asked Santa for high burning metabolism that lil fat man better come through!!! :p
 
if you continue being active, exercise (build muscle) and eat right, I am sure he will have no problem granting your wish:D:D:D
 
HA HA...well in that case I should have asked to look 10 years younger with a tight bod,...might as well go for it. :p

Lots of fa-la-la-la-la'ing this weekend....First weekend that I am faced with lots of Christmas goodies...I have decided to wear something tight...perhaps that will keep me in check of the size of my ample bottom. :eek:

Ok I jsut realized that I am not into cooking as much lately, Friday night is usually take out,..something to give some thought. Just because I am chillen on the menu doesnt mean the whole family has to. :(

Hi Jennifer, we are taking our kids to carols by candle light tonight. We do it every year and the kids love it. I hope you enjoy your weekend. :D

Had four families over last night for a "friends christmas celebration" Cleaned and cooked my butt off yesterday (however it has recovered to full size today). I didnt really eat all day due to the schedule (except for the 3 pot stickers that feel into my mouth). For dinner I did pretty good. Since nobody cares for the gobble gobble I made (crab, spicey shrimp and rice, pot sickers, gingered beef, chicken chow main, spicey drumsticks and terayaki drumsticks, wonton soup and a fish soup) I had a bite of everything except the fish soup....and only one medium plate. However, I did have three home made pina coladas (hiccup)...it had real pineapple in them so not completely empty calories. Passed up on the cheesecake and sent it home with my girlfriends. Also in accordance to holiday law not only is cheesecake a non throw away item (Lisa is now aware of this as well), alcohol has nutritional value, ( I learned that from Fitski) :) So in other words I am doing fantastic!!!!!!! :eek:
Just to be sure, a nice work out today, and hope for the best on weigh in day tomorrow

The count down is on for Christmas, is everyone ready?????

down 1.6 kg.....that was a bit of a shock...nonethe less a good one. Maybe I should market a work out video simulating exagerated painting movements. BTW got the basment [painted except for one room, but didnt get my flooring in the long run. Oh well at least my job is done.

looks like you had a very interesting weekend - good for you!!! And that you gave your girlfriend the cheesecake - I am proud of you:)
As for your question - I am not ready for Christmas, but I don't think that Christmas really cares about that - it will come anyway and I will realize on Christmas Eve all the things that I forgot...oh well - isnt' that a tradition as well:D
It will be a great holiday nonetheless and I look really forward to it.
