Today starts my kicking it into High gear again! I am really excited to push it this week and see where it gets me. I am going to weigh myself today and then not again until Sunday. That’s the plan…. Lets see if I stick to it!!! Haha. I was back down to my 127 yesterday… so hopefully I go down from here on not UP! Haha. Eiether way I am going to do Clarenece and myself a favor and be POSITIVE haha…. no moody bitch stuff hehe.

For dinner last night I had grilled chicken, steamed broccoli, and parm noodles. I stocked up on the chicken and broccoli and had just a little bit of the noodles…. So it was a pretty good dinner :Angel_anim: Went grocery shopping last night… it is def more expensive getting more fresh foods rather than processed and pre-packaged… but oh well… that’s life. Groccery bill was $212.00…… :dupe::smash:for two people haha……

But that should last me quite sometime… and its been a long while since I went shopping… so we needed just about everything.
Alright… so here begins my week wish me luck!!!!

Last night i went to the gym and worked it ouuuut! :coolgleamA:

I did 30 minutes on the treadmill... 20 minutes of that was running between 6.6 and 6.8 and then the rest was brisk walking on an incline of 9.5 . It felt good to get in there and do some decent cardio.

Then i did the row machine for a while, and worked some parts of the circut. I was starting to feel my sugar drop a bit... so i did my ab routine and then headed out.

My weight was at 127.4 last night... which is exciting hehe. Planning to hit the gym this evening again. Alarm was set for morning... but it was a rough one haha and i slept in instead!!! :)

Food for yesterday

Breakfast
berry blast cheerios w/ skim milk
Coffee with sugarfree cream and splenda

Lunch
whole wheat bread w/ ham, lettuce, and miracle whip
fresh peach
cottage cheese ( 2% milk)

snack- 3:30 Coffee and pretzals

snack 6:00- 4 tootsie rolls ( help sugar issue)

Dinner
taco salad ( lots of lettuce, little bit of taco meat, cucumbers, LOTS of salsa, some shredded cheese) no drsssing

snack 10:00pm- string cheese ( part skim), low fat granola bar

I hear ya about food adn groceries damn, I feed myself and 2 girls adn well when I do a BIG WALMSRT SHOP...I can spend close to 400 but it sdtokes me for a cpl weeks...lol...

Damn healthy eating and kids who need to eat!!!

Congratulations with the inches lost though! Those dropping numbers are definitely something to be proud of.

I think $212 dollars spent on grocery for two people isn't too bad. I spend about a hundred for myself when I go grocery with my boyfriend, who spends about another $60 to cover the rest. Of course maybe that's because I only go grocery shopping once a month.. GAH!! Such a hassle, hahaha =)

Sorry to keep you in suspense Clare Bare….:waving: I am training an individual from Long Island this week so its been a hectic morning hehe. My work out this morning was great! I actually RAN 3 miles today in a half hour…. Walking for 4 of those minutes. I felt amazing afterwards. AND, due to Michael Jackson music overload lately with all the TV and Radio specials on him… I found that his music is AWSOME to run to at a speed of 6.5-6.8. hehe. I also did my circuit training, I did incline leg press, weight assisted pull ups, the side bend machine thingy ( still have no idea what its called), and my ab routine. It felt amazing getting up early for my work out. It was hard waking up but my sister was suppose to go today too… so I knew it would be rude to just roll over and sleep in and have her waiting for me! Well, she no showed ME!!! So I was there alone… but hey… I got there at least!

I am sitting at a weight between 127-129…. It keeps fluctuating between there. It drives me nuts because to me it seems like I am gaining evertime it goes up to 129! Im still eating pretty well so I am really not sure what it is that is causing me to hang in right there….. Regardless… I feel amazing which is truly what is important.
Part of me does feel like a failure though….:angelsad2: I was suppose to be at 120 by the end of june per my originaly goal I set for myself….. and I did not make it. :icon_bs: So…… I guess its time for a new goal!


NEW GOAL: I would like to be at 120 by September 15th, 2009. I also would like to be running 3 miles NONSTOP within 25 minutes. Those are my two goals.
( if I hit my target weight before sept 15…. Ill make a new fitness goal )

Snack 5:30pm 90 cal low fat granola bar, 1 partskim string cheese

Dinner
1 turkey burger on whole wheat w/ lettuce, miracle whip, ½ slice of cheese, mustard, sm amount of ketchup
2% cottage cheese

Dessert
Whole wheat waffle ( 70 cal), fat free cool whip (40 cal), mixed frozen berries – no sugar added
 
Mel, the only thing you failed at was giving yourself a weight loss deadline. Deadlines are good to aim for but you have to be willing to smile at all you have achieved if you fall just a little short. You have succeeded in almost every way imaginable. Even if you stay at your current weight for months, you are a winner and no one would ever even know you were still trying to lose weight. You look great, you're healthy, fit and you can buy any form fitting dress you want now. ;)

I really like your new goal that you put in red font. That is awesome you are thiking that way because that is how you will stay fit for a very long time. The only thing I would like to make a suggestion on is the weight loss deadline. I'm not necessarily trying to tell you to change it but I think it would be a good idea to focus on 125 first. Make 125 your mission and then go celebrate with your man. All you can eat Lobster, right? :D Maybe even go have a cinnamon crunch bagel at STL Bread, I mean Panera, the next morning. :D Then set your sites on 120. You just might get there by your goal date but if not I hope I won't have to give you the same speech on Sept 16th.

For what its worth, and I know we are all different, it took my wife one full year to go from 133 to 122.
 
So... last night i went downtown with my friend for a bar crawl... holy cow was I SIIIIICK!!! Anyways, ended up yacking my guts out.... but it was suuuch a fun time. Ill attach some pics from the evening. Found i cannot hold my alcohol like i use to! whoa nelly!

Anyways, got my butt up this morning though and did hit the gym... despite being very much hung over. I am glad i went... i really pushed myself today to get the motivation to go and i did! :)

Also, check out my sweet bruises i got from falling UP the steps..... drinking and steps.... bad news for me apparently!!!!

Not sure my weight today... the scale at the gym is on the fritz. it kept rolling from 126-128..... so we will see tomorrow i suppose.

Hey guys! Had a great 4th of July hope you all did as well! I went to my boyfriends family picnic and it was a blast.... for the most part. Its always a crazy group of people... but thats what is neat about it haha. Of course there was alot of food... alot of not so healthy food. I did indulge in a bit of it... and it was delicious i must say. I knew it wasnt the best food to be eating here at the end of my weightloss goal... espcially when i am pushing for the last 10 lbs... but it was 4th of July for fart sake :patriot:

Took yesterday as my cheat day and did not go to the gym... but this morning i woke up first thing and i decided i was going to the gym... but on the way there I was thinking wow, its gorgeous outside... so i decided to pull into the park and run outside. I ran the 1 1/4 mile loop 3 times and did some crunches under the shade trees. I was WHOOPED after that. The trail was up hill, down hill, around bends, etc. It was a nice challange for my body because i am use to running with no incline on a treadmill so it was a good change! Good times! :)
After that i came home and the bf and i went and grabbed breakfast. I had eggs with some cheese, bacon, and rasin toast w/ coffee. It was wonderful!!


Just a minute ago i had some fresh strawberries with fat free coolwhip.


Tonight i am cooking out at my moms, and i have my turkey burger ready to take along... to be sure i behave on my eating tonight. Then FIREWORKS!!! :):patriot:

I figured i'll let you know how proud i am of how far you've come. i look at all the people who fell off, and while it saddens me, as some of thsoe i really looked forward to seeing how things turned out, you stuck it out and are looking great! i can notice a diffeent going through your pics and its been a pleasure going through this journey with you. its not over yet, far from it even, but is been a blast! Ever go back and read old post just to see where your mind was then compared to now. like when i was trying to get you to try out morning workouts and such lol. good times indeed. keep it up, you always have a fan on this end :)

Hey guys... just got home from the gym. had a decent workout this evening. i did 2 miles on the treadmill and did some stationary bike riding as well . I did some weight assisted pull ups.... also did my circut training and crunches. I plan to go work out in the morning!


Well, i do have a bummer announcement. I am changing my ticker to show that i am 2 lbs heavier than it currently says. the last 4-5 days the scale has been reading between 128-129. I was one day 127... but i guess i got excited and changed my ticket too soon.... so i will be settling for 129 until i see myself otherwise for a few days stretch.... bummer dude:dupe:

aww sorry about the weight gain... hoping you read my thread already, share with me you circuit workout and maybe i can make some suggestions as to switch stuff up with :) oh and you still look good even with those blasted two pounds
