strep throat hmmm.. im not familiar with the name, i think in england we call it glandular fever. I have had it before though and it sucked. I also used to get tonsillitis commonly when i was younger and doctors wouldnt remove my tonsils because they said it "wasn't a common practice" anymore. boo

So i may have that again, mixed in with some sniffles.

This cherry throat spray is nice, i love it . I havent had a culture done. Im not an american citizen and my student health insurance sucks, so im not going to see a doctor. Just stay doped up on bought medicines :p
 
uuuuugggggggghhhhhhhhhhh i feel terrible :( Every time i TRY to eat something i throw it back up. Looks like il be sipping on water most of the day, and soup if my tummy allows.

Love actually is on tv though, which makes me feel better. i LOVE this movie !!

I cant wait to feel better, i miss exercising
 
soooo was just checking measurements and ive lost 1.5 inches from my waist, an inche from my hips and half an inch from under my boobs.. YEYYY..

not sure if thats only from being sick so much :(

I also have a skull tattty on the inside of my left ankle...Our weight is simular - I keep jumpin between 210 - 213...

I have the chest piece, with teh 2 stars... a fairy on my hip, a piece i drew on my right shoulderblade and a small design on the top of my left outer arm. awww your tat sounds nice. i love stars :)

Yeah i often find my weight will drop my 2lbs in the week, but after the weekend i'll gain one... i need to REALLY get my butt into being 100% good on weekends.
I want to try race to 199. Im going to be so happy when im under 200lbs again !
 
Hello Faye, I am sorry to hear your not feeling well. I finally have made a goal to start reading up on team mates diaries so here i am. Hope you feel better soon so you can kick ass with us in the challenge. Also congrats on the 9 lb loss so far.

Keep up the great work and hope you feel better soon. I know it sucks being sick as I have been there too right when i first started this challenge I had strep and tonsilitis and a double ear infection all in one shot that took 2 weeks to get rid of but i was determined to workout. I think in fact it helped me get rid of the sickness faster.

hello hello :) thanks for dropping by my diary, id like to try keep up with a few more people's also but it gets so confusing hehe.

I feel ALOT better today. Had a great workout today too. I managed to ru at a speed of 4.8 and incline of 4.0 for 15 minutes without stopping. thats a feat for me, cause i used to be able to do about 5 and then id have to stop take a puff of my inhaler because i couldn't breathe. So my workout in the gym consisted of
15 mins running treadmill, 10 mins walking treadmill at 8.0 incline
10 mins exercise bike at avg. of 82rm
5 mins stepper doing a level 6 fat burn program
5 mins skipping
15 mins resistance/weights stuff

a short ish day , but i feel awesome. Then when i got home i cleaned the whole kitchen (living with 3 guys, thats a crazy job)!!, swept, mopped, washed dishes and re-organized dining room set-up hehe.

So far all ive eaten is a protein bar, think i may make a tuna sandwich in a bit. I probably wont eat too much today , don't want to risk throwing it back up while im still getting better.

Ooooowooooo i feel good :)

Just wanted to stop by and say glad you are feeling better :). Congrats on your workout and measurements accomplishments!

I've lived with 3 guys before too and i feel ya on how messy then can get. How is it that us girls are the first ones to get fed up with the mess??

I also noticed that not only are we in the same weight range but same height too. What is your goal weight overall?

hehe yeah exactly. The guys 'notice' the mess, but kind of push it aside and hope some else will do it, and more common than not that someone is me ! Well at least it keeps me busy.

Well when i was 18 i weighed approx 130lbs, which for me i think is an ideal weight. My mini-goal is about 170lbs, my long term goal is 145lbs. Then when i reach that if i can maintain a healthy lifestyle and get back into regular sports id like to once again hit about 130.

I have quite a small frame when im in shape so i could go lower but i REALLY like having curves, so i think between 130 and 140 is where id be happiest. This way i can keep my hips and boobs !!

Thats what I'm worried about losing if I lose as much as my doctor wants me to. 105, even for a shortty like is is really low, it doesn't seem like it will accomidate any curvies...
My sister is 5'4" and 135lbs and she looks perfect, a little curvy yet still thin.
 
wow 105 does seem low. I think i'll look amazing at about 135 or 140, so thats my dream weight i think. Plus my boyfriend doesn't like "skinny woman" he told me he wants something to hang onto ;) hehe

YUMYUM... my new protein bar is so delicious. Its called ' Balance bar' and i have the cookie dough flavour.
it has 200 cals, 15g protein, 6g fat and 22g carbs... and keep me full with a great taste in my mouth for hours. yomyom !
 
I like the Pria 110 bars, in the crunchy peanut butter flavor, those are good and only 110 cals. Cookie dough flavored sounds really good though...geez...now I'm suddenly starving.
 
i hate peanut butter anything :p I will eat it, but im just not a big peanut butter fan. Its not as big in the Uk as in the states.

Yeah my bar is alot of calories, but it keeps me full for a while :)

so im feeling a huge BURST of confidence tonight....the boyfriend is on his way home.... so ive slipped into some stupidly high heels and a stupidly cute outfit, and put some stupidly cute bunches in my hair to finish off the look.

..... hehe i like feeling sexy, its going to be better when my wobbly uneven bulging tummy goes away, but until then im dressing to impress ;)

hehe the heels are only 5" but they're amazingly cute black peep toes, very girly and fun... but hard to walk far in... so its good i wasnt doing much of that!

yeah i love my curves, and when the majority of the fat drops off, im determined to be one hot laydee !

Im feeling really good of late. The number on the scale is now steadily going down, down, down which makes me happy. Im working super hard in the gym and my eating is going well.
I was in the gym earlier, id done 20 mins treadmill, 10 mins stepper, 10 mins bike, 15 mins elliptical...then went to skip. Sweat was literally gushing off me, i felt so gross but so good :)

well off to walk the pooch.
