Bye-bye pudgey wibbles

Hi Faye! Hope your weekend is going well!! No worries about the 2lbs. You are right: it's the long term that matters!! I gain and drop 2lbs all the time (sigh). As long as the ultimate trend is down!!! I keep a calender by the door to the bathroom and I post my weights on it every day (I am an every day weigher!) and that way I can see the trend. I really have to talk to myself about not sweating the days I gain though. However it is nice to see a filled up calender. I have been doing it since January and I have 8 months of them!!:) Saw your before pics:) You have pretty eyes!! and a nice figure:) When you lose the weight you are going to wear it well:) Have a happy holiday:)!

Yeah i too weight myself daily. And keep it written down in a notebook, but i only post it on the forums weekly, just cause i think it'll represent my efforts more.

This week has been my first in my weight loss journey. My body i used to the changes now i think and im not getting cravings as bad any more. Im thinking it'll only be a 3lb loss for the week on tuesday.... but 3lbs is better than 0 lbs !
 
OKAY. well today marks the first week since i began my official weightloss. And i am now at 213.9 lbs. which im rounding up to 214.

So i lost 3lbs this week. i was hoping for 4 but oh well. im still proud. This next week im going to push it so hard and try hit 210 !!!!!

had a kind of bad weekend. i drank lots of water, got some exercise, but it was so busy i forgot a few meals :( and had to have like a banana whislt out etc instead of a meal. but oh well. Ill get back on track now :)

well my boyfriend had monday and tuesday off work, and although i got in my exercise and drank lots of water it was a bad few days for my diet. My meal times got all jiggled about and i ate a little worse than i should of, but alas i didnt gain lbs so its all good.

Weds today and im back on track.. 4 lbs this week is what im hoping for !!
 
Good luck!! Don't sweat the bad days too much. I have had some bad days this week as well and so far it hasn't hurt me too much. Its the weeks and weeks of bad days that make you gain!!! Good luck for the 4lbs and congrats on the 6 you have lost!! That is awsome!:) Hope you have a good night!
 
wooo just got back in the zone after a few oops days of not being as strict as i should have.

So im about to go cook dinner. im thinking plain old chicken breast and veggies. I need something simple to get me back into healthy mode hehe.

Today i feel good, so far ive eaten half a portion of chicken and brocoli, and a dannon light fit smoothie. Trying to decide whats for dinner... hrrrm

My exercise today has been 20 mins treadmill, 5 mins stepper, 10 mins bike, 10 mins skipping and 5mins abs. It was a pretty short gym day. Then when i got back i took the puppy on his dail 1.5 mile walk.

Im really hoping to be 212 by tomorrow. Although it prob wont happen :(

Im going to push it so hard tonight and do some dancing, exercise ball and some sit-ups :) I really would like to see some inches loss soon.
 
Hi Fayefaye, I hope you reach 212 tomorrow! boyfriends always screw up the diets don't they? and then they are like "I like you the way you are" which only makes you want to smack them (in the non-domestic violence sort of way...). Good luck, keep up the good work!
 
hehe yeah indeed. i just find it TOO easy to eat what he's eating when he's around. Ive told him that when he's home to make sure i get my exercise and to TRY eat well with me. He doesn't really eat bad, but he's trying to gain muscle so eats way more calories than i do.

I really dont like like how i lose 2lbs, gain 1, lose 3, gain 2 .... it seems like its all over the place right now. I think i need to be make EXACT meal planners and stick to them rather than decided what to eat when im hungry. I dunno. I know its early on and im only 2 weeks into my diet but still, i thought my weightloss would be more consistent :(
 
I think our biology just plays with our minds too much ie: eat too much salt, retain water. I think its important to look at it as a "downward trend" and as long as the, say, 5 day average is going down, you're doing good. I'm horrible about weighing myself, sometimes I'm on the scale two or three times a day! So I always write it down in my weight loss "chart" that I have going and then average it out to see the "trend". I hope that helps, I know I'm a new member but I'm not really all that new to weightloss unfortunatly.
 
yeah i know as long as my weeks number is lower its ok. And i do write my weight down everyday. Like you k, i also find myself stepping on the scale throughout the day, just out of curiosity.

I seems on the days i think ive done the best, the next day my weight wont budge on the scale. but i guess thats just life eh :p

Also its weird how my body works. If i get drunk (rare nowerdays) i wont get hungover the next day, but the day after that. Same with my eating if i have a bad day i wont put on weight until 2 days later. Its nuts.

I did so many sit-ups yesterday my tummy hurts tonight when i try do them. ugh. But i must carry on.

Id REALLY like to see a reduced waistline soon, thats more important to me right now than the scale number. I'll post my measurement soon, when i find the courage. Its weird, i'll happily post photo's of my overweight booty but posting measurements.... is scary !!!
 
wow im down 2 lbs from saturday morning. hoorah !

Not sure how that happened, but im not complaining. Maybe cause im sick...bleeuurrgghh. Im all snuffles and full of cold.

So i may be a bit absent over next few days :( sorry team 1 if i dont make the weeks bonus, ill try log in and post everyday but i feel so ikky! Also i burnt my hand badly, and typing hurts :(

thanks :) yeah im a pathetic blob in bed. My boyfriend bought me a bunch of medicine and has ordered me to rest all day hehe.

Its going to drive me nuts, i get so fidgety and just want to do stuff !

Its going to mess with my eating being sick, i have no appetite so im just munching on pretzel packs and drinking a cup of soup for mealtimes.

Bllleeuuurggghhh *sneeze* ... *cough* ... *sniffle*..... lol. i feel so ikky !

sorry I haven't been able to drop in lately. Life's been rather busy busy on this end. As for the scale... bah... I believe scales are nothing but mindfucks. haha! For the sake of keeping my sanity, I weigh myself once a week. No more. No less. I just hate seeing fluctuations due to a number of factors. (ie: water retention, salty foods the night prior, glycogen, etc) Anyways, if it helps any... I used to be the same way with just figuring out what to eat when I was hungry. In the long run, it would make me binge because I couldn't "wait another second." As a result, I now plan out my meals the day before in a food journal. Well, I hope your afternoon is going well. Im going to start making a food journal i think. I guess that will help with shopping too, cause i can buy in advance knowing nothing will be wasted and go bad. I tried it once but sometimes i just didn't feel like the meal i had planned, i guess you can switch some meals with different days thought maybe to suit. Or i could just force my butt to eat what i had planned to :p
 
I'm too fickle to plan out meals. I'm the type that plans out a fabulous meal and then find something else to eat that I actually want...lol. I guess thats where my problems start. Feed your cold GIRL! you need energy to fight off germs. drink lots of fluids, stay away from dairy products. My mom makes me spaghetti when I'm sick, it helps.
 
im the same, i plan something then change my mind lol

At the moment im laid in bed... laptop on my knee, tissue in hand and about 10 bottles of water by my side. I also have my throat spray, vicks decongestant inhaler, dayquil, nasal spray and throat sweets hehe. I sure have my supplies to hand !

I think ill stick with soup for dinner, my throat is killing so i want something that'll be easy to go down :)
