Thought I would stop in. Your work out sounds incredible. ... incredibly difficult, but wonderful. :) I notice when I exercise, I become energized and not able to sleep, but my body hurts, so my body wants to sleep, but the mind is raring to go. Its awesome that you are able to sleep so well. I have insomnia ...

I used to chew gum, not so much anymore, might be a good thing to do...eating less and the acid is maddening ..may try that ...but I have the same problem with stress ...

I hope you find a way to deal with the stress, congrats on the finals ...and have a good day! Thanks for stopping into my diary!!

I hope you can get much better sleep from now on Natalie Jo! I get very angry and grumpy when I have to go without sleep for a long time. I remind myself of the toddlers who just get angry and red when they have a lack of sleep.

I have slowed down on the gum since finals were over :) I always chew a piece when I go to work and stuff but normally at home I usually don't touch it. It did help me though because I shouldn't be hungry right after eating and yet I still wanted to chew.

Thank you Justina! I really have to remind myself about what that kind of behavior resulted in so I have to concentrate on what I will feel in the future and not what I feel at that moment. I don't remember all those snacks I ate out of anger but they sure did like sticking around my belly for months!

Great job on resisting getting junk food to cheer youself up, I have a constant battle with myself over emotional eating so great job and not only did you resist the junk food but you worked out! Stellar job girl! You're doing such a great job!

Thanks Janvier! It always feels good in those maybe 2 minutes of chewing but it never makes me feel as happy as I would like to feel lol So now I try to cheer myself up but sometimes its hard to do on my own. Sometimes if I have the time popping in a feel good movie has really helped. I know its fake but the happiness I feel after wards isn't. My favorite is 50 first dates because its so cute lol

Today I talked to my friend and like always I felt a little frustrated afterwards. She has this amazing knack of ruining her life and blaming the circumstance. When we graduated high school (12 years ago!! Holy crap!) I went to school for a bit but after realizing I had no goals I just started working. She had a full ride scholarship and she worked full time. She also got money from school with grants and stuff. She had graduated high school with probably a 4.0 and by the time she graduated college it was a 2.5 and she kept blaming the fact that she had to work to help her mom pay bills.

I saw it completely differently because she drank a ton and did some other unhealthy things that cost a lot of money. I finally went back to school a couple of years ago and work full-time and pay rent and groceries. I also have some leftover to live a comfortable happy life where I occasionally treat myself to my lovely addiction of coats and shoes! I don't go out every weekend and I don't spend any money on alcohol so I live a much more boring existence but I enjoy myself. I was so broke when I was 22 that I quit smoking because I had to choose between cigarettes and food and I just couldn't choose smoking.

Anyways fast forward a couple of years and she gets a good job. They pay her amazingly well and start promoting her and then she gets fired because she can’t show up to work on time. But of course it was their fault because she didn’t get 2 warnings which she was expecting. She is ALWAYS broke but she ALWAYS has money to buy smokes or liquor or other stuff.

This year I really believed that she was going to improve her life since she wanted to get a masters but thanks to her low gpa she has to pretty much get A’s all the time so she can improve it. Well its only the 2nd semester and she’s not even getting straight A’s and she thinks it’s so hard she wants to do only 2 real classes and 1 gym class next semester. She has nothing else going on and isn’t even working. She could just study all day if she really wanted to. But she spends the weekends going out and partying on her unemployment money.

She also lives with our mutual friend whose husband just informed her a couple of weeks ago that they were trying for a baby. So he was obviously hinting that she should probably start looking at her other options and she isn’t even looking for a job yet. She had moved out of her parent’s house and they offered her a room for 6 months and its pretty much going on a year now. You know what she said to me??? She said “WELL WHAT AM I GONNA DO??” This woman is 29 years old I’m pretty sure they don’t care what she does as she is an adult and she should live somewhere else because they want her room for the nursery.

It’s frustrating to me because she is my friend and I know she can do better. But in the end it’s her life and if she REALLY wanted to do this she WOULD. I have tried to help her think beyond today and next week but I can see that I don't make a difference.

My day has been really relaxing. I have been playing music and cleaning around the house. I took a whole week off from work to just kind of slum around but they still e-mail if they need anything. I had to stay extra yesterday to make sure we got some numbers crunched for our upcoming projects. I really enjoy my job but I will have to find something else soon. They can’t afford to pay me well and my fiancé and I want a baby within the next 2 years. Hence my swift kick in the butt to get a healthy lifestyle going. I want my body to be a healthy vessel and I want them to accept healthy eating and exercise early in their life. Plus I want to look awesome for the rest of my life!

So I always re-evaluate my food and exercise to decide if I am seeing the results I like. I also try to keep in mind how I feel about things. I have been eating delicious foods which make eating healthy very easy and my workouts have been fueling my self esteem. So today I evaluated my decision to eat at the Cheesecake Factory next Tuesday and I decided to pass on it. I have been still seeing nice decreases in my weight I realized that at this point I don’t really need to shake up my metabolism since my weight keeps decreasing. I instead decided to challenge myself to make March a 100% month. I feel happy with that. Plus I should be getting my new jacket on Tuesday which makes that an awesome treat. Also I decided to treat myself to some shorts and some dark brown ankle boots. So I figure it’s more than even trade!

The cheesecake will be there at another time so I’m not worried. Also my reward this month is feeling good about myself and I feel like I might be disappointed the day after I ate at this point.

Once my weight doesn’t fluctuate at all I won’t mind seeing the temporary increase in weight. My feelings on the day after a splurge are much more important than anything else. I might even treat myself 3 times in April! We shall see.

Life is good and I’m not ready to rock the boat.

You are so right! I am kind of a bad person to tell problems to if you don't really want to solve them. I always try to come up with solutions and sometimes people just want to complain lol I think she does have some underlying issues because she's also talked about going to talk to a conselour but its been years and she even has access now that's shes going to school but she still hasn't gone.

Today I went out to see my friends! It was super fabulous and I ordered plain black coffee but didn't add the cream as I had no idea what it was... But lots of girl chit chat and just nice and relaxing. They offered us free chocolates and I came home and gave it to my fiance.

I sadly have to weigh myself next week. I forgot a pill during finals week and now I have TOM again... BUT today I wore my FAVORITE JEANS! And I wasn't rocking a crazy muffin top either. This means that I lost at least some inches in the waist and the thighs! I think they are still a little tight to be honest but they are most definitely wearable!

SO I felt SUPER cute today and I did my hair all nicely. My girlfriends are too cute so I work a little harder when I hang out with them lol

He thought the chocolate tasted cheap which was disappointing because it was a gourmet chocolate place! So I was super glad I hadn't had any. There is nothing worse than treating yourself and then finding yourself disappointed.

Having hot friends helps me put more energy into myself which can be nice sometimes :) My fiance doesn't really inspire me to look great since he is always dressed casually I almost feel over dressed if I dress up too nicely lol

I really hope I can wear the jacket lol so I will at least post pics of the jacket whether I can or not! I did find another super cute one that I wanted actually but I am waiting till I get the one I ordered to decide if I want to buy a 2nd jacket.

You know before I had the option to buy junk food or clothing and I always chose junk food because I didn't want to buy bigger clothes. Now though I am choosing clothes over junk food but I can get addicted to clothing shopping just as much as food lol but It is better because I will have the clothes for months/years and while yes the fat that I could get from junk food could last just as long LOL I am happier with the clothes :)

I went to the store today and I got a pair of leggings since I needed a pair to wear with some very short dresses I had picked up a while ago. I haven't worn them because I couldn't fit into them and didn't have leggings so now I can wear them! It is however too cold outside but they were having a sale and I couldn't resist.

Been doing some spring cleaning too! It's been nice and since I have some time off I will be going out with my sister some and going shopping on wens too but I am going because there is another jacket I am interested in LOL and my fiance really needs to go the same store because his clothes are on the last leg of decency lol I love shopping and he definitely does not so I since I want to see the jacket he figured he would finally take the time to do some shopping too We have Xmas giftcards to use :)

That chocolate sounds nasty...good thing you were not tempted by it...i looove chocolate...but somehow recently i went off it ...i dont trust myself to buy a whole pack ....i d eat it all hehe...i love lindt 90% or even 99% - yum!! i really got into dark chocolte in the last years.
I love dressing up sometimes!!! doesnt it just make you feel more confident and gorgerous - regardless whether you actually do look better or not - hehehe - but it is good thing - because yoU feel good :hurray:
Buying cloths instead of junk food - hahaha yep - its just great!!! cant wait to go home - and fish out my old cloths from the bottom of the wardrobe - excited to find out whether they fit or not.

Have you ever told your friend exactly what you thought of her and all of her excuses? Sometimes it takes a really good friend to tell you the truth with no sugar coating to really open someones eyes. I know it may hurt her, and you to be so honest, but it is so much better to hear the truth from someone who truly cares about you.

Buying clothes as you start losing weight is so much fun isn't it?? I had to put an end to it, unfortunately clothes are so much more expensive then junk food was lol, if they were even in price I would certainly need a much bigger apartment lol.

I'm starting to get into that too and it's lots of fun. Just replaced my big wool peacoat (which is waaay too big now) with a cute tan colored short trench that ties nicely in the waist (that I now have haha) I loved it so much (and it was on sale for like 25 dollars) that I just ordered it in black too ;)

Keep having fun getting cute new clothes - you deserve it keeping up all this hard work :D

Thanks Justina! oooo You really should fish out those old clothes! That always sounds fun rediscovering your own closet! It comes in tomorrow so I am super excited but I have to go out shopping with my sister so I'm not sure I will be able to get the package before the office closes. Hopefully so! I ate the entire meatloaf by myself in the last 2 days! LOL It was baked in the bread pan things plus I ate 4 eggs yesterday so my food was quite big lol I almost felt bad my fiance didn't have any but I was hungry lol

Hey Amanda! I should definitely buy more underwear! Just a couple of years ago I still had a pair from middle school that my mom wrote my name on! I decided I should probably get some new underwear lol I am sure the jacket will fit in no time! I know wanting to buy smaller sizes because you know you will get smaller at some point!

I have a jacket that fits tons better now but I did buy it in a smaller size that was really tight because it was super cute and they didn't have a bigger size and now I'm glad I did buy it!

Thanks Janvier! The cheesecake factory is so high in calories! Man I didn't realize how much I was eating til I looked it up! I thought about how much I had to work to burn it off and it just didn't seem appealing quite yet lol

I think I will have to tell my friend. We have been friends forever so I think she will probably get super angry but she knows I care about what happens to her. I will have to do it soon I think. I really want to encourage her to see a counselor and maybe even walk her to the office. Help her take that first step. She deserves happiness and she needs help to believe in that for herself. Now the hard part is prodding her along.

I am being fairly cheap with what I am buying. I had to wait until things went on sale and then I got an online coupon so I was like OMG BUY NOW! I'm trying not to get too carried away. I do buy a lot of designer stuff at second hand places so that has helped my dollar go much farther but I buy more then I plan to because the prices are so great lol

Thanks Arianna! Oh your jacket sounds super cute and slimming! I love sales! I totally can't seem to resist BUT I am a stickler for free shipping lol unless its a super awesome sale! I am a sucker for when under armour has free shipping on any minimum sale. I love working out in their gear.



Today I felt like I needed to a bit more ab work so I found a new video from the tone it up girls and they have an ab circuit workout its about 5 mins total and they say to do it 3 times for 15 mins total and do that 4 times a week so I think I will be doing that. Last night I did more side crunches and my abs got so sore and I realized that I should add much more ab work.

Tomorrow is rest day! Then onto week 12! I can't believe it's been so long and no workouts missed! I am skeptical that I will still be able to pull through this phase and still see a 10 pound difference from phase 2. I was hoping it would happen but I guess we shall see. I hope to at least be able to get an accurate weight by wens but just gotta wait until it's gone lol

So exhausted! Did some spring cleaning today. I have learned that my fiance doesn't clean on his own but if I give him a list he doesn't complain and just does it. So that's always nice lol I think I'm pretty much done too! Yay!

I know I can't believe it! It has been such an amazing 11 weeks prior though! I feel so much more confident and happy then week 1. I did not feel like challenging myself like I do now and it seems like it was FOREVER ago. All those days I felt like giving up but I just kept going and going and now here I am! Wonderful journey!

I went shopping with my sister for hours today. It was so tiring and I didn't eat before so when I came back home I ate right away lol While it was rest day I was completely tuckered when I came back home. Watched movies and planned some meals! I felt pretty bored with my meals lately so I am making new recipes which always invigorates me again . They look so delicious too! I really love good food and I love losing weight eating delicious food :)

I picked up stuff to make my fiance tuna sushi rolls which he LOVES! I will be sad since I don't get to eat it but he will eat it all on his own lol It takes forever to make too. But I like making him happy and I feel like he needs some healthy things to snack on rather then the nacho's he has been eating. His nacho's look so good! Also my sister bought a chocolate chip cookie and i could smell it.. It smelled delicious lol


I got my new jacket! It was actually bigger then I thought it was going to be! Which was awesome and I can wear it right away :) I think I would even be able to fit into the small but I didn't want to return it and then find out the small was too small and I was happy with how it looked. It was super cheap and i wanted a brown jacket which matched my dark brown ankle boots.

I might also buy another brown jacket but its light brown and this ones a bit more spendy but super cute. I will have to go try it on in the store. We shall see :)

Less then 2 weeks til March ends! Spring is here and Summer is around the corner! I am so excited!

Sushi has rice in it which is really carb heavy and I am still trying to keep it under 100 and they are SUPER addictive so for now I choose to stay away from them :) Once I plateau though sushi eating get's the greenlight!

You're doing great Tally, good job on resisting the yummy smelling cookie and for making food for your fiance that you can't eat- that sushi sounds yummy! Keep up the good work!

Week 12 has officially Started! I am giving it my best to try to really do it 120% I just want to add to my results while I can! Then when I start round 2 I think I will have to switch over to measurements rather then pounds like this round. I had quite a few pounds to shed so I didn't even care about inches but this next time I won't have as many pounds.

I also learned they are coming out with a new p90x later this year! I will definitely be rising up to that challenge when it comes I am excited. I heard it was September sometime its called P90X:MC2!! So I will have 2 more rounds to play with the program and improve on it and then I start a new p90x! Super excited :) I want to challenge what my body can do and I hope to have well defined abs by the end of the year not to mention be totally healthy!

I will try to update my weight on Sundays from now on. I realized that maybe I should get into that routine too just so that I can remember to do it. Otherwise I have to scroll through every page trying to see when it was I last updated :)

Sushi- nice one on limiting your carbs...i do it but not per se - just dont have any after 2-3 pm - thats kinda limiting too. i guess :)

First let me say that yesterday my fiance and I went to go shopping at the mall because I wanted to go and I made him go with me since he needed new pants. He also doesn't like it if I just sit around and wait for him which is fine because I was on the hunt for my beige jacket! I went to express and I couldn't find it at all so I went to nordstroms and the girl told me they would have to ship it in and I didn't want to bother doing that since i didn't know about the fit. So I went to another store because they had v-necks for cheap and while they are thin I like to put undershirts on with them so I didn't mind.

Well today I went back to work and so I went to a different express and they had 1 beige jacket left in size medium! So of course I totally bought it since it was 30 dollars off! The other dark brown jacket I got is cute too but not as cute as this one and I REALLY wanted it so I now have a new awesome spring coat! Also my shopping has come to an end! It was fun while it lasted but :smash: Gotta reign it in lol

Now as for food lately I really do need to add some in! This spring break was not relaxing at all! I have been spending so much time out that my food intake has lowered so I am going to have to add more snacks in or something but I guess I went back to normal today. I ate so late today I won't even have my AB&J! I have also gotten to the point where I don't even have time for the other half of my AB&J's. Oh well I guess it isn't the end of the world!
