2011's Adventure for a 5'3 girl hoping for 125 :)

Been a bit busy but my general meal plans have been the same. Under 100 carbs and I don't keep complete track so if I only had like 80 or something I don't feel the need to try to find something that is less then 20 carbs to eat. I haven't had a high carb day but if I do it won't be a big deal I just want an average of under 100 carbs.

Still no fruit in the house which is fine but I picked up some celery so I can put some almond butter and eat that on days where I think my carbs are too high for a AB+J sandwich.

Same drinks as usual :)

Found out there is a celebration in June I am going to. It will have lots of food.. I will eat lots of food lol. I found out before even if I have 3 bad eating days as long as I have 4 good days the scale barely moves or doesn't move at all. It was always 3 because of leftover's and stuff. Anyways I'm excited because there will be pretty exotic food.

Workouts are according to the p90x schedule. Today is the start of phase 2 week 3 day 1.

Scale is plunging down. It has to be a big effect of working out 7 hours a week plus the carb/sugar limit. I'm pretty damn surprised but the workouts are HARD for me so I guess it's not too surprising. I guess I'm completely surprised it's working out so well for me. :)

Feeling good and working hard.

This weeks scale low is 145 I guess it seemed silly to not say weight since I know it lol.

What an annoying week!!!!!!!

This week has been so filled with frustration that the only thing that seemed to go right was my eating and exercising :cuss:

I really used my workouts to de-stress me which ended up working quite a bit better then when I simply splurge on candy because I tend to feel irritated and remorseful after wards :nopity:

As for food I went to go pick up a different bag of frozen veggies. I do like the fresh ones but I just don't want to have to run to the store every time something runs out.

I have decided that I really need to plan my days better and do homework at reasonable times since sometimes when I get home from work I am so tired... so better time management is key. Since January I have had to add a lot of time into working out 6 days a week and cooking homemade meals at least 4 times a week. I need to do more constructive things in the day and go to sleep earlier. I even took a nap with the fiance yesterday which I never do! Must work harder at making time count more. Can't wait til Spring Break. I just want to do lots of nothing.. it's too bad I will still have to go to work. Oh wells lol

I may have a high carb day on the weekend. I have been having such a hankering for a cheeseburger and fries. I decided if it was still there on the weekend and I did well throughout the rest of the week then why not :) I won't get my usual Sprite with it but I may further indulge in a milkshake. We shall see it's still about a day and a half away.

It's still chilly outside but I did see the sun today. It reminded me that it would be warm within couple of months and for once I didn't feel dread about that. I look forward to being able to wear my smaller cooler clothes. I guess the most exciting part of it is regaining my entire wardrobe!

Thank goodness the week is over!!

Today I woke up at 6:20 AM to finish formatting the essay that I have been working on since it was due today. Then off to work and into class. I came home and started studying since I have been trying to get more out of the day and ended up napping :ack2: It was just a short nap but I still feel sleepy. I am over the cheeseburger and fries craving. The fiance liked the idea of going out this weekend to eat though so I will probably have a high carb day but who knows since I have no idea where we are going.

I wasn't sure whether I really liked the idea of having a journal but I think its actually been a positive experience. I can actually see what I was thinking and now I always try reading page 1 and trying to make things improve on page 2.

Ten days until Feb is done and I feel like I worked really hard so far :)

Weekend Overview

We ended up not going to eat yesterday. Fiance couldn’t really think of somewhere he really wanted to eat so we just ended up making taco’s. I ate taco meat without the tortilla. Did yoga X and he ended up being able to clasp his hands behind his back while in a lunge and was able to keep it the entire time which was a first for him.

I originally struggled with the one handed side holds. I don’t remember what they are called but I can hold the position all the way through now and my vinyasa’s have been pretty amazing since when I first started I actually had to do those on my knees and forget about the pushups in between!!

What I really like about the fact that I keep doing the same videos is the fact that I can notice the improvements each week. Plus I sweat with every workout! Even the strength training ones and I have even been able to incorporate my 15 pounders this week which was another accomplishment.

I am getting a bit impatient with the weight loss even though I have lost so much already. I am currently in between jeans so it's kind of inconvenient. My 2nd pair of fat jeans (after the unhealthy weightloss) is now too loose but my original fat jeans are a little too tight. I have to keep reminding myself it will come as long as I keep pushing on.

On completely random notes:
I am finally able to wear a pair of boots that I could not stuff my calves into at Xmas! - I mean technically I could but I was sweating trying to find different angles and they were sooo tight! But now I zip them up with ease :)

Second I got my makeup sampler! Loved it!!! Although I haven’t tried anything yet but I really needed mascara so now I don’t have to bother. I am currently just trying to give back a little oomph to my face and I just love trying new things :) I gave the dark chocolate to my fiancé and he didn’t like it so I may have to let my friend try some lol. It seems sad to just throw it away :(

Here’s what it came with
1 NARS Orgasm Illuminator (8 ml.)
2 bareMinerals Flawless Definition Volumizing Mascara (~8 ml)
3 Befine food skincare 1.3 fl oz
4 Pomega5 Daily Revitalizing Concentrate (~3 ml)
5 sweetriot Chocolate Covered Cacao Nibs

Third I got awesome new glasses yesterday :willy_nilly: Now I have to wait until next week to pick them up and I am super excited!! I feel like this is truly the year of me so I just have to keep the enthusiasm going!

Cutting out ab ripper x

I have decided to completely cut ab ripper out.. I personally don’t like it so I am switching to new a core workout by the tone it up girls. Its 6 mins long so I am gonna try to do it twice plus the plank moves that bob harper suggests.

If you are curious google for the videos:
Bob Harper - Workout Tips – Plank
tone it up girls fit sugar 6 mins

I love the plank moves I can really feel my stomach engage itself. I feel like the p90x ab ripper moves aren't as stomach intensive as I would like. That is just me though and I was getting tired of the moves forever ago.

My goal once i reach my ideal weight is to boost my carbs to 100-150 which will allow me to maintain the weight. I will still exercise though so that may keep trimming off the weight but I would like to be able to eat 2 AB+J sandwiches a day cause they are super easy to make and delicious.

Very nice. Keep up the good work! Try not to push yourself too hard!!

I am also 5'3" and started out at 215 and am now maintaining 125-130! If I can do it, you can too. :)

Thanks and wow that is AMAZING!! How long have you been maintaining it? Do you just watch what you eat now?

I came upon the conclusion that exercise is a lifetime commitment for me because I simply balloon up slowly or in case of the holidays extremely quickly.

I have been a little impatient I think just in general lately. I really want it to warm up, be out of school for the summer, just have work, and have more sleep so I am taking a breath here and realizing I am doing all I can and I just have to let time do its thing.

:chillpill:

I decided to let myself enjoy a cheeseburger and fries today. I thought I fought this craving off successfully but it came back! So since I have had it for around a week or so I am going to go ahead. It might slow down my weightloss a smidge but it's my second time going out to eat all Feb so I'm alright with it. NO milkshake though HOLY MOLY thats 100 carbs on its own plus all the sugar!!! :ack2: At least the fries/cheeseburge is around 100 carbs but I'm not gonna delve into the 230+ carb zone.

I also happen to have a tiny piece of chocolate and a whole bag of semi sweet chocolate that have been completely ignored since January so wow. I guess this is the kind of chocolate I can keep around because if it was twix.. it would have been a different story.

So foodies - So probably 150-180 carb day
AB+J Sandwich.. I could cut this out.. but I love these so I won't
Cheeseburger and Fries :leaving:

Then its rest week and onto phase 3!

Then the fiance may stop doing this with me and I will probably make a hybrid program because i do like working out 6 days a week. Amazingly.. I don't know if I would have said that before.

I am gonna have to spice up my food life this next week. Jambalaya is already on the list and I just added some morrocan chicken casserole with cauliflower rice. Looking forward to it!

Rest Day :)

Well I thoroughly enjoyed that cheeseburger and fries! I did NOT however end up eating the AB+J sandwich so at least that spared some carbs but my calories were crazy high lol

Today I ended up bringing celery with Almond Butter to work and I felt so bloated I didn't want to eat anything else! I guess that's a bad combination for me. I went to class then came home and ate without worry :blush5:

Gained a bit which was expected but my craving is gone and I really liked the 2 week treat rather then the every week. I feel like I could up it to every week once I get around my ideal range.

I found out I have family coming for end of May so lots of pics and that's just more motivation to keep on track and make each week count.

:jump:

I plan to post a new pic up on the 3rd of March! I think it will be nice and will also help keep my motivation up cause I have to weigh myself lol and post the pics :blush5:

Random Notes:
My hair is growing wonderfully :) I'm growing it out to my elbows for my wedding.. which is sometime whenever lol My fiance and i aren't gonna have a big one but I gotta look good! My 3 faves will be there! Family, Friends and Food (I guess I should have said Fiance instead lol but he is so amazing!!!! sometimes I really am the luckiest girl around.. I say sometimes cuase noone can be perfect 100% of the time.. and hes got his moments lol) :grouphug:

My skin is getting softer and nicer looking which was a new years resolution
Also thanks to my new routine of nightly mint masques I'm also having really clear skin

Got multivitamins! Had to add it to my other vitamins (potassium to fix charley horses, glucosamine to help my knees, fish oil to help my hair and skin) Seriously... :svengo:

Food

None but I did have to climb up 3 flights of stairs and walk from work to school which is uphill :ack2: I also took the time to take advantage of a decent time gap in trains and walked the 6 blocks to work. Then missed the train and for a quicker ride had to walk 8 blocks to nearest train station.. Plus my normal 5 blocks back and forth from train to home...Wow I never really thought about it until writing it out lol :)

Rest Week Begins!

So today rest week started and I already did Yoga X! I always feel a lot more energized after I do that one simply because it’s such a mental block to even start doing Yoga! I find it so long and only the first half really makes me sweat and the rest is balance which is nice I guess. I am looking forward to the next phase and then I really look forward to changing things around. Like the 6 days a week. It just seems to work for me but dislike Kenpo… I find that one getting easier and easier and I want to replace it with taibo and then once I get plyo easy then I replace it with interval X which is from p90x+.

I do not plan to stop for a week and then restart it. I don’t really know why I would. Once I’m done with phase 3 I start it over again with different cardio workouts and probably buy higher weights. Momentum I think is very important. I love not having to leave my apartment for a workout and I really like being able to fit into my schedule. I wake up earlier if I know it will be a very tight day and just do it before my day starts otherwise I know I MAY skip it and I just don’t want to chance it. I WILL have days in my life that I will skip it but I want to keep those days as few as I can.

It’s gonna start getting crazy for me soon! So I decided to not compromise my workouts and have started on projects/papers early so I only have to do minor touch ups later. It just makes me busier now but I think that’s better than scrambling later.

Shrimp is dethawing, chicken is ready and I have to cut up sausage still but Jambalaya will be made tonight! It’s a recipe from the daily apple so I don’t even have to worry about getting too many carbs or anything which is nice plus I need some sort of kick to things! Eating healthier is hardest when you don’t have an assortment of flavors and I was definitely feeling a little uninspired.

Back on track with weight loss! Thankfully by squishing those food splurges into the middle of healthy eating it’s pretty easy for me to bounce back. Once I start adding more than that it tends to slow things down much more. It is simply one meal or some chocolate but it’s not bite sized lol I would get like a big symphony bar if it was gonna be chocolate.

Lately I have been less stressed when things fly out of crazy control. I feel like things are doable since I started getting control with my weight. Or if I have a bad day I really get a sense of relief that something in my life is working out.

Good things are happening! In 2 years I won’t really remember what I’m stressing about but if I do stuff now I will look awesome doing whatever it is I’m doing!

This is for you future me! :waving:

March is on the Horizon and my p90x crystal ball says I will hopefully be seeing the 130's by the end of it!

Just wanted to stop in and say Hi and keep up the great work!! - I'm not that famliar with P90x but I've really enjoyed reading your Journal - and now I really want to go out and get some Almond Butter ;) haha :)

It's great to read your journal, I just started back hardcore yesterday and I have your same starting weight and height! I've done the arms CD of P90X because my boyfriend has it. I've been going to the gym every morning and really enjoy it but I'm just not sure I can stay motivated with the workout DVDs. How do you stay motivated on the videos? Hearing this really makes me consider trying it on a daily basis.
Also, how old are you?

I love almond butter lol I put soo much on my sandwiches with just a hint of jelly! But if you are doing a diet that calls for lowfat then it’s terrible for you! I think it really helps keep down my cravings but I still feel okay about it since the diet I am on doesn’t really mind the fat so much. Of course there is too much of a good thing in all diets lol so eating the entire jar would make me gain weight regardless.

Hearing this really makes me consider trying it on a daily basis.
Also, how old are you?

The one thing I LOVE about p90x is the results in such a short amount of time. I went to a regular gym that I loved about 3 times a week an hour a day for the first month then I gradually increased it. So after 9 months I got to 125ish and I started at like 149 which is 11 pounds lighter then when I started p90x. I lost the weight that I did the first 4 months of the gym in the first 2 phases of p90x.

Then I couldn’t afford the gym (it was tiny and was costing me almost 90 bucks a month) and I completely fell off the wagon. This time I am more motivated because I know that I can keep up the same stuff at home and I simply do NOT want to have to re-lose this weight! One thing was that I had such a big routine into going to the gym I just felt unmotivated to work out at home. I think this way I never have an excuse since the gym is home lol.

Results are different for everyone but my eating habit did improve in month 1. I was honestly baking cookies and eating them for breakfast/lunch/dinner and my fiance never went to the store without coming back with my requested bag of twix, ice cream, german chocolate brownies, pecan pie whatever sugary sweet I really wanted PLUS we were both lazy to cook so we were living on frozen pizza.. ANYWAYS I went completely CRAZY from october-december :ack2: Sometimes I would get so sugared out but then i would get sad about that and eat more sugar...

I just turned 29! Honestly I thought I spent most of my 20’s thinking I was pretty big but now that I started actually getting bigger I realize that I wasnt lol But if I don’t do something about it soon I will spend my 30’s as big as I thought I was in my 20’s except this time I will be about 20-50 pounds heavier. Most of my 20’s I was somewhere around 135-144 which wasn’t big but not as small as I would liked to have been. Plus I feel like I spent so much energy worrying about my body…I would rather simply use it exercising and then not having to worry about my body.

Since I want to lose the weight by June I am being more strict on myself then if I wanted to lose it by October (my next goal because I love dressing up for Halloween lol). So I stay motivated with p90x just because I can see the results and I can definitely feel them! My fiancé now chases me around the apartment if I don’t bother putting a t-shirt on so I can tell he sees them too lol We do have a mini gym in our apartment that I can go to but its only like 5 machines lol It has an elliptical but I get really distracted if I’m just on a machine so I may go too slow and only notice half way through the workout. I like just letting my brain wander so that’s one thing I love about p90x too. I also really need to work on my arms and I don’t want to think of what I should do. Just a lot of lazy reasons I guess lol

I really just wanted a lot of variety and wanted to challenge my body. I had done some of the videos last feb so I knew basically what I was getting into. I also have tai-bo some yoga and pilates videos but I didn't want to do the same thing everyday. I also felt really tired of not feeling good about my body.

I think that after phase 3 is done I will almost be to my goal weight. I won’t be too worried about the 132-125 journey. It will come as long as I keep working out. I will have complete access to my entire wardrobe and I can indulge in more things but still get to my goal by June. My wardrobe has been my most coveted goal to be honest. We have an awesome thrift store that has designer jeans so I spoil myself quite a bit there and now they are all just sitting around because my butts too big for them....

I’ve pretty much accepted the lifestyle change. It’s still hard occasionally but my friend who works out a ton has been my inspiration. Her fiancé cheated on her, she had to move out of the apartment ASAP, move with another roommate, get a new car etc etc. Her life was sooo hectic but she was going to that gym after her 10 hour workdays and I thought well DAMN if she can do that then I sure as hell can too.. lol so I am!

I love reading about girls around my height and hearing great things :)

On a completely random note Jessica Simpson is going to the gym now too! She loses weight so quick!!!!!! I only hope to be able to catch up to her by June.

It's kind of weird to think about why I have always thought I was fat but after writing the last entry I realized that a lot of my insecurities have mostly been from my family. Without their need to comment on my weight I might have actually enjoyed my body...

I hate my arms they just always seem flabby no matter what weight I am.. This probably had something to do with my grandma saying how fat they were when I was in my teens.. I was probably like 125 pounds at this point

I hate wearing anything tight when my belly pooches out. My aunt or uncle has commented on this when I had a bit of a belly. I was again probably in my teens and probably around 135. My uncle actually told me not to get too fat because men don't like it!!!!!!! God he sucks :cuss:

Any time we have the holidays if I gain weight it becomes the topic of conversation. Most of my family is overweight and yet they always find a way to fault the ones who are smaller then them when they gain weight. This past holiday I wore HUGE clothing so it seemed like I was small. My fiance has gotten angry more then once because at previous holidays my aunt has asked if I gained weight loudly around the entire family. So frustrating!!!

I used to hate my calves. I never noticed them until I was walking around in a skirt through the hallway at school and I heard someone go wow look at her calves.. Now I am somewhat over this my fiance commented on how nice they were and I got angry lol.

Thankfully I have been with a man who has never made me feel bad about my weight. My sister bless her has never been critical of me but my family picks on her too. It's really annoying I guess we all have our hangups.

This year though I am trying hard to accept my body no matter what it looks after I start exercising regularly. I have tried to accept a bigger weight but I got too depressed and I simply could not get over the mental barrier so I decided just to lose the weight and then be happy about where I get to. If we have a kid I will be less inclined to be tolerant to my family if they pick on them. The gloves will come off. :reddevil:

Happy to have the weekend :) Not much planned but I like being home and it's too cold outside for me!

I am at like 143.9 as this weeks low so I hope that I see the low 143's or lower next week. I did core synergistics yesterday and it was SO MUCH EASIER then it was the first time I did rest week! I wasn't able to completely do everything so it wasn't so easy I snored but I noticed some massive improvements in performance and at the end I felt I needed a tad more which is why I added the tone it up girlss 6 min video! My body is definitely feeling much stronger then it was when I first started :)

I noticed I haven't been snacking much.. but I have gotten into the habit of just eating unless I go to work with some snacks.

We have the table of temptation at work. It's a small unassuming table BUT our office always puts free snacks on that table. They occasionally have gourmet chocolate bars, and usually have really amazing looking cookies on it! It's gotten much easier to resist temptation because we ALWAYS have something delicious on the table so it doesn't seem that special. Also I don't know how good it is so I don't want to treat myself and get angry that I didn't really like the taste of it lol. I usually end up getting angry and then EAT everything so I am treating myself to things I know I want. Fiance and I agreed to go to the cheesecake factory sometime and they have the most amazing piece of cheesecake there that I KNOW i love plus I love their pasta so I know I won't be disappointed!

Hey girl! I love your "I can do it" mantra. Very positive! When I'm reallyyyy struggling during a workout and I start thinking, "I'm dying!! I CAN'T DO THIS!!!" I have to remind myself there is no such thing as can't. NO CAN'T! I CAN DO IT! Love the mantra :)

Everyone just ravessss about p90x. Now I really want to see what the deal is about. Do you just do it from home? Do you need any special equipment? It would be a great workout to do from home on days I don't feel like going to the gym.

Your gym membership was $90?!?!?! That's crazy expensive!!!! I thought my $42 per month was expensive.

I'm sorry you don't have the support from your family. That's gotta be tough. I don't know what I'd do. But I'm glad you have the support from your fiancé. Just wait till you show your family once you're all fit and healthy. This lifestyle will benefit you extremely. You mentioned your family is overweight as well so I really hope it inspires them to change and better their own lifestyles.

You're doing a great job girl! I know you said you were just working out the first month. I think that's the best way to start out. From experience, when you try to do it all at once (clean up your eating AND work-out), it's reallyyyy tough to hang in there. From what I see you're eating, your eating is also just spot on! You're doing awesome!

Thanks!!! You are so fit right now so I think if you tried p90x you would be challenged but not to the point you want to just get up and leave the room cause it might be overwhelming to some people.

It's 6 different workouts each week. You work arms 2 days legs 1 day cardio 2 days and Yoga 1 day for an hour and a half. It's about an hour or so a day. Yoga is 1.5 hours and I find it annoying but when you start mastering it you feel like you just climbed a mountain lol You get a rest week every 3 weeks or so. The program isn't easy but if you stick it out you will be so proud of yourself. I know I am! People who know about p90x are in complete awe of me because they don't think they can do it. But they can! We just got to get over the can't and move over to can :)

You just need weights and a push up bar or a band. I use the band and then put it on the door. My weights are from 5-15 pounds and I hope to increase to at least 25 by June.

Sometimes I would drive the 20 minutes to the gym do the 1 hour class and come back completely dry.. no sweating at all. I always feel like its a waste if my body isn't challenged. I have to work up to that feeling though. I didn't want to be challenged my first month lol.

I really get annoyed by my family but I think I just get so irritated to keep seeing them do it to the younger family members. They have high school which can be tough already why do they gotta be so mean :( They have every tv equipment out there known to do something amazing but they don't end up using most of them.

I have just tried to accept them and just try to shrug it off. I know they love me and they are in their own heads trying to "help" me. But I sure as heck wasn't gonna find a husband who complained about my weight too!! lol

My abs are sore!! That means core synergistic this week definitely did me right. I may actually try to clean up my diet enough at some point to show them off. I guess we shall see when I get to the point that showing my abs is even an option lol.

Yesterday I was about to go do Kenpo then I changed my mind. It was pretty hard when I first started out since I hadn’t worked out since March so for the 1st month I just rolled with it. Then the second month I started noticing that I was still sweating but it seemed to be a lot easier. So yesterday I decided well maybe I will try tai-bo. I was going to start the first DVD and then it went all spazzy on me so I decided to try P90x+ Interval X. Please Note that if you do not have a push up bar I highly do not recommend p90x+. It will just be a waste of money.

Interval X is only 40 minutes but it’s extremely intense (no push up bar needed). So intense I was very hesitant to do it before I had completed my first round of P90x. But last night I was like what the hell if I really can’t make it through I will go back to Kenpo. I am extremely pleased to say that I made it through… I didn’t conquer it by any means but my heart rate was high and sweat was pouring out me. I also added the tone it up girls 6 minute workout at the end. I was so proud after I was done! I’m going to do it again tonight simply because I don’t want to do X-stretch.

I’m getting to the point where I have to think about getting some different DVD’s because my fitness level is much better than I had anticipated it would be. Also I am really enjoying the challenge which I think is a great turning point. If I start just wanting to challenge myself then it puts weight loss on the back burner. There is no way I won’t get to my weight goal if I just keep eating well and exercising. Also I need incentive to keep working out past my goals so wanting to be fit and challenges become more important. Maybe I can start thinking of triathlon training to keep my interest. We have quite a few yearly events for the athletically inclined.

I am so grateful it’s still cold outside. It’s still okay to bundle myself up in loose sweaters and wear things that are not tight. Spring is March 21st though so then the real countdown for me begins. I went through 9 months of wishy washy behavior to get to where I am now. I even went to the gym for 2 weeks and then got completely lazy. They simply couldn’t motivate me enough it was up to me to find my motivation. I feel like the consistency of my workouts really helped me get into a different mindset. I get impatient about my weight loss but I know I can do it now and that has me in a whole different place then in December.

What’s nice about going out with some of my girlfriends is that they are on a health kick too. We decided to go to a vegetarian restaurant so no steak for me but I can always make a nice big salad with chicken but minus the cheese and dressing. I am limiting my dairy too. In fact the only thing I have had for dairy is the skim milk for my coffee. I love full fat greek yogurt but I will probably wait until I am closer to my goal to introduce that. It tastes heavenly with chopped almonds and slices of banana!!

I can’t wait til all the bbq’s and stuff of summer! Plus the warm weather and wearing my summer clothes again! I have a fabulously small dress that I can wear will some black leggings and some super cute high heels or some flats!

The Moroccan chicken casserole was a hit last night. The fiancé really loves spicy things. He isn’t doing the low carb. I can’t remember if I mentioned it but he still eats whatever I cook and thankfully the recipes that I can eat are also ones he really likes. He’s a big boy though and can fend for himself if he doesn’t like what I cook lol but I like it when he likes what I cook so I always do those recipes that we both like more often.

being a girl is lovely....

I jumped on my scale this morning and I gained 1 pound lol Also I had an intense craving for almond butter last night! So much so that I was contemplating adding another sandwich to my list of eats. So I realized I was getting a bit hormonal. SO I will ignore what the scale tells me for a while since I am doing exactly what I should be doing. I have also decided rather than adding another AB+J to my day that I would do was make ½ the sandwich in the morning and the other half later at night! This will only be until I can not daydream about almond butter at 9pm lol

:hurray:

Also I may incorporate a snack this week. Mainly Kale chips which you just go to the store get some kale add some seasoning bake in the oven and voila some snacks! Anyways you add salt on them too so you may get more sodium but I think over all probably the healthiest snacks if you have that huge urge to snack.

Also since I’m not on low fat I can also cut really thin slices of carrots and deep fry those in coconut oil as well. Anyways I don’t know if I will eat these snacks but I decided to make a list of approved snacks before I get too crazy. :willy_nilly:

The fiancé is cooking chicken fettucine tonight! I already told him I won’t be eating it. He understand my need to see results. Also I decided that on March 21st was when I would have a treat. I keep thinking about cheesecake factory and I will be getting the sun dried tomato chicken fettucine and the brownie sundae cheesecake.

3000 calories and 220 carbs or so. :svengo: LOL I am gonna enjoy it! But I gotta earn it which means 20 days of good eating and p90x’ing

Thanks A lot!! :) Almond butter is sooo creamy plus it has MUFA's which is supposed to be great for you lol but mostly its just delicous. His dinner smelled so good lol I can't wait until I up my carbs! Maybe in April but we shall see :)

Yesterday was hectic and my food intake was low. I will chalk it up to a half day of quasi fasting . We had cream cheese pastries on the table temptation at work yesterday. However I didn’t feel that just because I wasn’t eating meant that I could partake in a high calorie snack. I feel too good about things to make myself feel bad I guess.

Obviously that is not everyone's viewpoint but I just want to say that's okay. :) I'm not planning to make light eating an everyday occurrence. I do believe in fasting but I won't voluntarily go a day without chewing food lol.

Phew! Today is the start of phase 3! Woot! I feel a general excitement in knowing that I will be completing p90x! I do plan to keep doing it but I just LOVE being able to say I completed it.

I also decided to do my treat day on the 22nd because that means it would be rest day and I could totally take it easy that day. I’m looking forward to it just because that means I will also have a break from the high stress of classes and I will be done with big projects which is super exciting!
