I'm going to take your advice and really think about my emotions and mood before I just dig into some junk food and try to let the moment pass instead of relying on food to cheer me up then have instant guilt as soon as its over. Your right that it's a matter of figuring out what works for you and training our self control muscle. I used to be amazing at self control, I wouldn't even look at junk that people would constantly put in front of me, now I want to look at it, smell it, know what its made with, taste a little lol...Its a work in progress.

Thanks Janvier! It's really hard when you are in the middle of being emotional to step back and it's taken me a long time to do it more often then I don't. Sometimes I succumb but I try not to stay in it for too long.

I updated my pics on the before and after but I don't think I really care to update it after today's post. At first I thought it would be a huge motivator but at this point the diary is enough for me. I just want to be healthy and that includes frequent exercise and eating well.

I start this round weighing 139.8 which is higher than my last weigh in but it's not discouraging at all. I figure this way I can claim more of a loss when phase 2 rolls around lol Plus 20 pound weightloss in 3 months was so awesome for me! I'm happy :)

I decided to change my fat source around yesterday. I realized that almond butter and jelly sandwiches were my daily treat and a good way to get more fat into my diet but I was getting tired of it so I tried to make some almond meal w/ cocoa powder shortbread thing which ended up being gross and I tossed it out. I should say that being on primal blueprint requires lots of fat so I end up eating delicious things and am completely okay diet wise. It should be healthy fats so that’s why I get mine from almonds.

I have been getting my carbs from veggies and my sandwiches so I may get them from bananna’s or something since I found a delicious banana bread recipe that’s pretty low on carbs. I might even make custard. Anyways the excitement of trying a different fat has been nice lol

I also decided just to do monthly weigh-ins. I was going to do bi-weekly but I realized that my cycle is so crazy off I won’t be able to trust my scale for another 3 weeks anyways.

LOL i really don't understand what americans and canadians are eating half the time. Whatever is pulled pork? What's an AB/J sandwich? I know its my problem. But i feel so left out.

If you want more fat in your diet, try cooking with polyunsaturated vegetable oils or olive oil. Try avocardo on a salad sandwich.

I am very into the importance of vegetables in my diet and on my diary i am trying to write up my recipes and a detailed food list. So if you want some tips, take a look. My favourite recipe at the moment is ratatouille which is a french stewed vegetable dish. Its really delicious. YOu will have to click on the link i give for it though. I try to eat two cups of cooked vegies a day. I just don't feel i'm eating healthy if i don't include lots of vegetables. Don't get me wrong, there have been plenty of times when i don't eat vegetables. But i know how important they are to both general health and to weight loss.

Thanks Erin! :) It's super hard to stay focused on being healthy if it seems like a prison sentence lol so I try to keep it all fun and fabulous for myself! I also found a primal nanaimo bar recipe and a primal nutella recipe.. so I will probably get myself some delicous treats but I have to be careful not to eat too much lol I will challenge myself to practice restraint!

Thanks for your suggestions fourtyfour! I hadn't gone grocery shopping but I try to eat veggies as much as possible but I always welcome new recipes.

AB&J is almond butter and jelly sandwiches and pulled pork was just a pork shoulder I put in the crockpot for hours and then it was prepared just pulling the meat apart. I guess thats why they called it pulled pork but I'm not 100% sure lol

Thanks Janvier! I have to admit I do it because of laziness though :) I just don't want to make up my own circuits but its fun seeing what my body can do!

Yesterday was filled with lots of things so much so that it was like I blinked and it was 11 pm. I went to work and got stuck on something so I ended up staying a lot later then I normally do. Then I came home and took a nap.

Anyways so i didn't eat much but I worked out. My fiance and I have been up and down this past couple of days. I have been sticking with working out but my eating has suffered a bit. I have wanted to just bury myself under covers with a huge pile of cookies and ignore the world but instead I have just been napping lol

This first week of going back to normal workouts has been really challenging. Again the rest week magic!

Things are back to normal in my life which means happy :) I am experimenting with low carb baking as I really want something sweet and homemade. I have decided to eat something super creamy but in small amounts and practice restraint.

Yesterday I put in some bodyrock exercises and this morning I made my fiance some pecan banana pancakes which are his favorite. I make them from scratch so it takes a bit but they are way better then some of the pancakes I have had at breakfast places.

Got some nail polish this week because I got some new shoes and some were open toe. That was fun. I think that is all of my spring shopping but we shall see.

I decided to make a bit of changes to my diary as I am at the point where things are pretty regular for me so now I can just write my plan and I pretty much stick to this and if it changes I will update things but I plan to put this every 2-3 pages as I change my workouts and I move phases so that it isn't that hard to find out what I am doing :)

My inspirations/Goals:

Monster Goal My fiance and I have been talking about having a baby in the future!!!

I really want to have a strong body for this. I have learned that after 9 months of not working out that I can in fact get in relatively good shape by doing p90x. It just so happens that I will be working out when I am pregnant but not p90x lol

I want to show my child how to be healthy and not be a hypocrite so I must be the epitome of what I want my child to be and that is someone who works out to be healthy and enjoys food in a healthy way.

My mother never taught me how to do this because she was always looking for the next quick fix for weight loss. I REFUSE to pass along that particular bit of information and I will show my baby that exercise and eating healthy is the way to go.

More baby reasons:. I want to have a good pregnancy that involves healthy eating, prenatal yoga, slow walking etc etc. I always want to be proud of my body post pregnancy and I know that the shape that I am in before the baby matters.

That is a wonderful video of an adorable girl and her stomach through all the phases of her pregnancy. I thought OMG!

YES I know it's also genetics how good I bounce back BUT I will give myself every shot to look as wonderful as her and that most definitely includes getting my body into shape.

There is also an amazing website called the shape of a mother and women who have had babies post pictures of their shapes after having babies. I feel so much more prepared after seeing these. It will still be a surprise seeing my own belly but I hadn't seen a lot of a post-partum bellies before I came upon this site.



The core is an amazing thing and to make it strong before I have a baby is important to me.

More baby reasons:. I am not used to eating very healthy all the time. When I was thinking of having a baby I knew I wanted to get used to eating healthy and eat well while they were in my belly and during breastfeeding. So I was looking at more then a year of healthy eating!! It might be impossible to do it 100% and I realize that ;)

BUT I should make it a habit long before we even start making babies after all I would never feed put a snickers in a food blender and then spoon feed my baby with it so I have to get a hold of my CRAZY EATING and do what is best for my baby!

I can't always do things just for myself but if I had to do it for a baby I would think LONG AND HARD about it so I will make it easier on myself now.

Also I want lots of energy to put forth to chasing the baby around, taking my toddler to the park, running after my 5 year old. SO many things to think about.

Having a Healthy Life: There are so many benefits to being healthy and I just want them all lol I want to have lots of energy now and I want to have lots of energy when I am 48..

I know she has had some plastic surgery but DAMN Demi Moore is amazing... I want to look hot at 48 too lol She still has to eat incredibly well and I know she isn't skipping the gym to eat some donuts for breakfast. ;)

I'm not planning for babies yet but I figure its never too early to look fabulous ;) Plus I can't imagine how much I would gain if I started off eating like crap.. and how completely depressed I would be after the baby came if I ended up gaining a TON of weight. For me a healthy mind is a healthy body because I was pretty depressed in January.

So June is going to be fabulous even if I'm not quite 125 ;)

The weather has been downright horrible though. If I were bigger then I would love it as it would give me an excuse to wear baggy sweatshirts all the time but I'm not so I want it to be warmer so I can wear the cute clothes lol

O right Janvier I completely ignored the baking question!! I made the primal nanaimo bars but I ended up adding way more cream cheese since I was eating it cream cheese plain lol. My fiance thought it was disgusting LOL but I really liked it. He is used to having sugar in everything and I used organic maple sugar as sweetener. It isn't as sweet as real nanaimo bars but he won't like those either and I don't want to have to eat it all on my own.

I have been eating 2 small squares a day rather then eating my almond butter sandwiches so its been a tasty change :) Also the huge accomplishment is that I have been eating 2 small squares a day!! Even my fiance was impressed :)

My bodyrock tv exercises

I decided to add in my bodyrock tv exercises just so I have the references posted somewhere. I am excited to do todays after yoga. It looks really fun and she looks tired so I know it will be a good one.

Last week I did not afraid but only did 1/2



This week I am doing Yeah! and this week I am doing the whole thing



I really enjoy the variety of these workouts and I find her inspirational so it pumps me up to do more.

Other then that not much new :) My fiance got hit on at the local store which I found impressive! I couldn't hit on someone random but I am super shy. She was winking at him and asked for a number. He told me about it and I was just admiring her style lol

We are starting to look at SUV's maybe a subaru wagon? I don't know. We need a slightly bigger car for a baby and 2 lazy english bulldogs to fit in. We are also looking at houses but not sure if we are renting or buying. I love english bulldogs!

I always buy their calendars each year :) I wanted a third one but fiance said maybe we should wait on buying more puppies since we wanted a baby and ours were getting older. As a puppy and a baby at the same time would be hard. They are our babies which has limited our traveling and we won't go anywhere without having someone stay home or taking them along. Our international trips therefore have been put on indefinite hold :) Maybe one day but the only places I will board them are very expensive and I would worry way too much so who knows lol

My weight is lowering and I have been happy about that! The fat pants I couldn't even fit in when it was January are now getting really loose. I can't even run with them because they start lowering to show my crack so I have to keep a hand on them to keep them up lol

I hope everyone is doing well on their weightloss journey :) Don't worry about the bumps just keep doing it for yourself!

I'm loving your new plans and goals, I agree that it would be so nice to have a mom to look up to who lives a healthy active lifestyle. My mom was always teeny tiny until she had me and then she did the yo-yo dieting and get slim quick things- especially when she was going on a trip. When I gained weight I tried all of the same things, just the easiest most unhealthy way out that always failed and always resulted in more weight gain so a healthy mom to look up to sounds like a fabulous goal and while you're waiting until you're ready to have a baby a super hot body is great motivation!

Your nanaimo bars sound yummy dispite what your fiance thinks lol. Great job at only having two a day, I love when you can see how far you've come in resisting eating only a few rather then the whole thing at once.

I'm excited for you that your pants are falling off lol, sounds like you may need to do some pants shopping!!

Thanks Janvier!! It is so nice to feel like I have a good groove going on. January was rough but wow April is beautiful :) I feel like the sun coming out this week has just made me so much happier! Now I have so many adorable tops to wear and cute jackets! Its wonderful :cheers2:

My fiance's dad was diagnosed with diabetes and 2 members of my immediate family have it as well. So I have been worrying about gestational diabetes which crazily enough can occur even when you don't have any diabetics in the family! My fiance's dad used to have to take medication but his doctor told him to do a low carb diet and once he started doing that he lost weight and he stopped having to take the medication so I decided to start now before even trying to get pregnant. I figure I will try hard to prevent it from happening but if it does it won't be because I didn't try my hardest!

My fiance's mom is an amazing role model. She works out and made sure to put a lot of her energy into her kids. My wonderful mom never had time to take us to the park that was only a couple of blocks away but she always found the energy to drag us around the mall for hours. I love my mom and I feel like she just had a lack of information. I feel like all these shows on tv have done amazing with informing people of different ways to parent. I like nanny 911! I feel like they have great creative ideas which my fiance's parents did but my parents were spank happy lol I love their sticker rewards and stuff like that.

Yesterday I had so much sweat falling from my face from interval X! I start thinking I am starting to conquer a workout and then the next week it surprises me with the intensity again lol

Other then that nothing much happening :) The sun is out this entire week! Im so happy and I get to look cute everyday :hurray:

Yesterday we went to Olive Garden YUMMY!

I ate my weight in breadsticks and salad then took the chicken fettucine alfredo and ate it home. It was a big carby day and today I ate candy we got from my mom LOL But I did workout and tomorrow I go back to low carb so no biggie :) I enjoyed all the Easter candy!

My fiance is a finalist for a job!!!!!!!!!!! They pay twice as much as his current one OMG we are crossing our fingers and I am already planning on buying some stuff I was holding off on like workout shoes and tops LOL ;)

I also got my birchbox which was amazingly awesome I uploaded a pic but it wasn't mine so I'm linking the blog that I got it from lol But I loved it!!! 10 bucks for a monthly surprise ROCKS!



Doing good on working out and eating is not perfect but I'm still happy and having a healthy attitude :) Good luck to all!

Looking good on the exercise, Well Done :)

Thank you! Not nearly as hard as what you do but I will get there! I have enjoyed feeling my body getting more fit and my arms are toned now. I can even do quite a bit of pushups without using my knees but I still have a way to go.

We hear back from them on Friday so I really hope he gets it :) You shouldn't be too hard on yourself remind yourself that you are human and sometimes we need some extra chocolate lol You are doing awesome in picking yourself up after sad things happen! Plus you are a totally cutey so even if you just lay around for a couple of days people still see you and go wow she is a little hottie ;)

Birchbox is totally awesome but its US only :( They send you a box of high end deluxe makeup samples and sometimes you get full size products like last month I got a full size organic chapstick and they had more stuff in there!! I love it plus I have sooo many things to try without having to feel any pressure and if you fill out their surveys for 10 points each after 100 you get 10% off and you can keep building up points so I'm almost at 200 so I get 20% off later!! I loves it and it always feels like a monthly x-mas gift lol

Moms do their best :) I think theres much more info though for newer moms to try new things and I will do my best and Im sure my kid will try to improve on what I did too lol

You're the same height as me and aiming for the same weight :) I'm at a 142 starting weight though, aiming for 125 and can't seem to just get that first pound off!!!
But you're getting me motivated and inspired, I'll start a diary and keep at the exercise bike ;)
