2011's Adventure for a 5'3 girl hoping for 125 :)

I just turned 29 in January :) Which got me a little pissed since I had looked and felt awesome on my 28th Bday thanks to regular exercise and good eating. So on my 29th Bday I pretty much swore that I would look amazing on my 30th bday.

I'm 29 too this year (in June) and I definitely want to finish up my 20s feeling much better than I spent the majority of it. I want to bust through the end of the 20s and in to my 30s looking and feeling amazing :)

We're gonna be some pretty fit and awesome looking 30 year olds come next year ;) woo woo!

At least i know some awesome salad places!!! i think i could live on that every day - it s sooo nice..but since its my sister s first time in the States - we gonna have to try some good old burgers and YES cheesecake & brownies...lol

Yeah I feel like I have some awesome things going on in my life but my self esteem just isn't so high right now and I want to feel awesome and amazing on my next bday! I just think its great to think before hand about it rather then get so bummed about it in December and not have enough time to put a serious dent into things.

O I could not go anywhere and be so disciplined that I would keep up my diet lol I love walking around everywhere in new places too!! Just experience the local experience lol

I hope your weather in the states is going to be great! I hate going anywhere and getting crappy weather lol But maybe it doesn't matter if you are somewhere exciting. You still feel excited but the locals don't share your enthusiasm lol

I'm super excited for my sister to get healthy! She's not following the exact p90x schedule because she doesn't like it so shes going to add in walking on the treadmill and doing another exercise dvd!

My 2 motivations this week I think have been quite obvious lol. I put up pics lol

Brownie Sundae Cheesecake - I REALLY REALLY want to bury my face in chocolate right now. So that scheduled treat is my lifeline lol When I get under lots of stress I just want to eat the world!!!!! I have never actually tried to schedule something that far out and I have to say its worked really nicely. I think I will have to schedule another visit for after finals week next semester too

Tone it up girls - I added the tone it up girls for most of my days because they really fire me up! They look amazing and it makes me want to work harder.

I have less then a week until classes are over and I can start relaxing!! I am so excited!!

Yesterday I managed to use my 15 pounders for quite a bit of my workout so today my arms were tired doing yoga lol Yoga X is probably my least favorite workout but I think it’s because it’s so long. Some people replace it with X-stretch but for me X-stretch does nothing. No sweat no increased heart rate or anything lol I feel like while it would possibly help my flexibility it certainly wouldn't burn any calories. I had to close my eyes in the beginning and just do the moves. It was a mental challenge. I sometimes even now still think about shopping to get me through it lol

Yoga X at least the first 45 minutes make me sweat A LOT the rest of it I could skip because its balance poses/stretching but I don't mind it yet. When I get to day 90 I may just start doing the first 45 and then skip the rest of it. Possibly just add my usual tone it up videos.

Today I made the carrot chips because I was feeling like I needed an extra kick. It was like a hand full that I made. They were tasty! I love it because I can eat things like that and be totally fine with it. It’s within my diet boundaries! Yay! I definitely found myself being grateful that people had so many ways to get to the same point. There are so many diet plans and so many exercise plans!

April 4th and I officially end Round 1! I think it’s been an empowering experience for me. It had been too long since I had stuck with anything I was wondering if I was ever going to get back up. Today I took the time to appreciate the confidence I have built within the last 2 months. Life is good :)

Yesterday I read something about the biggest loser Ali Vincent and I had no idea who she was so I watched the today show interview and there was one part that was really amazing. She was running on the treadmill and her face was so focused and the other girls were just watching her and then Jillian told her to stop and she did. It was the determination and her obvious will to succeed that was inspiring.

Let me tell you she’s the girl I would want to stand close to if I were working out. She would get me to the next level just because she would quietly inspire me to go farther, jump higher and give everything more. I loved it. I still don’t really like watching the biggest loser but I enjoy the fact that it gives people hope for themselves to lose weight. I personally don’t think winning the money is the important part but being able to keep the results and make a drastic change to where your health was heading.

Some people can be sooo inspiring on tv! i know biggest loser...is a erm...good and bad thing at the same time..kinda misleading but hey the people on there could really help you to be more motivated!!

Today was interval X Day. I just workout and watch the crazy amount of sweat pour onto the floor lol. I added the 6 minute interval and I was just sitting there on the floor on my knees sweating hard and crazily enough I rewound the video and added another round!! Holy smokes I was dead tired after that. I definitely challenged myself harder today and after wards it felt like I had done something amazing I was so proud lol

I’m so glad tomorrow is rest day though. My body is tired and I have gone through a half a pack of gum this weekend lol Just trying to keep my mouth busy because I know stress makes it want to eat food. But I have to start dealing with stress in a different way besides just eating. The exercise has helped because I don’t even think about food when I’m exercising!

Normally I celebrate the day of my last final with a trip to go out to eat but I think we will just go watch a movie instead. I am trying to make celebrations more centered on activities rather than food. They are playing megamind at the cheapo theater and I love animated films!

Back to the study corner! Keep on doing the good stuff people!

Thanks and i did schedule that time with my girls this weekend :) It will be a coffee run instead of a salad run lol but I feel like its a small reward! I will probably just have black coffee and maybe some cream. Its at a chocolate place lol so its gonna smell soooo good ;)

Hallo I am doing well! I shall get caught up now lol

I am alive! Most importantly I am done with finals which is the best part!! WOOT! My sleep pattern is all shot and the amount of coffee I have consumed in the last couple of days is a mountain! I am so happy to have a break for a bit but I have spring cleaning planned too. I’m not sure how excited I am about that but at least I can skip studying anything and not feel too bad about it.

I discovered the bodyrock youtube channel this week too. I will attach a pic. Search for it by charliejames1975 and not bodyrock if you want to check her out on youtube. I would just google youtube charliejames1975.

This girl is amazing and her abs scream out “I EAT CLEAN” lol. Anyways her workouts are amazing! I’m thinking to add a couple but I noticed that a lot of the p90x moves are also in there. I think some people may not like to look that fit but man I would totally ROCK THAT all around the town. Thankfully my fiance really likes the fit look too as I want to be attractive to him ;p

I also love watching andreaschoice on youtube too. She is adorable! She reminds me on Rosario dawson.. but I am trying to learn more about makeup and I like watching youtube ;p If you have a favorite youtube channel share it! I’m always happy to amuse myself lol

I'd love to try the P90x but I just don't think I"m there yet. I did youtube some results clips and it looks like it does it's job...I'm wondering about the bar though...whew, don't know if I could ever do that!

LOL that is a great idea! Then you get to taste some but other people get to finish it :) Hopefully they like it :) My fiance's dad tried almond butter and really enjoyed it :) He made it part of his life too lol

So I had to edit my food yesterday as I had hardly any sleep and so was a little bit more moody. My fiance upset me unintentionally AND then I went to go buy a jacket that I had planned on buying as soon as I didn't have to pay for shipping. I went and they were SOLD OUT!

Then I just got really sad and felt blah! I really wanted to go to the store and buy lots of junk and just sit in my room and feel sorry for myself lol but instead I went to workout (I recorded my eating and workout early yesterday) and I used all that annoyance and sadness then I felt much better. Also this morning they got restocked on the original jacket and of course my poor fiance spent the rest of the night cheering me up lol so I'm happy now :)

Even in those sad moments I always realize I will feel twice as bad the next day if I don't workout and eat junk so I motivate myself to keep going.

Today is a good day though! I did wake up LATE! So I had to run out before I even had a chance to pack food and I thought oh well I should get home early BUT of course that didn't work out and I had an extra busy day at work so I stayed later then I was so hungry when I got home but I went to exercise first. Plyo day is hard and I didn't want to be working out at 10 pm and I was already tired so I chose to workout and then relax :)

I probably won't have a chance to get hungry again today so I guess I'm having a bit of a light day. I don't want to stay up so I can eat more lol

Thought I would stop in. Your work out sounds incredible. ... incredibly difficult, but wonderful. :) I notice when I exercise, I become energized and not able to sleep, but my body hurts, so my body wants to sleep, but the mind is raring to go. Its awesome that you are able to sleep so well. I have insomnia ...

I used to chew gum, not so much anymore, might be a good thing to do...eating less and the acid is maddening ..may try that ...but I have the same problem with stress ...

I hope you find a way to deal with the stress, congrats on the finals ...and have a good day! Thanks for stopping into my diary!!
