Thursday

Never did update about Thursday.

Got up early and went to the gym. Did 20 mintues on the treadmill at what I would consider to be a moderate pace. The machine, however, didn't agree with me, but oh well.:rolleyes: Then 20 minutes on the bike.

Breakfast: 12 mini pancakes (1 serving), 1/8 cup syrup, 8oz 1% milk.
Snack: 100 calorie pack of Cheetos. Not real sure why I ate them. Wasn't really hungry, but stopped for gas and the convience store had pictures of hot dogs and Doritos everywhere, so my Cheetos seemed the lesser of 2 evils.:(
Lunch: 6" turkey breast sub from Subway, with lettuce, provolone cheese, and regular ranch. They didn't have any other type of ranch, and those need ranch, so... And a small regular coke.
Supper: 1.5 cups of mixed lettuces for a salad with fat free italian dressing.
Snack: 1 serving light string cheese.
1400 calories on the nose. (goal of 1310-1660)

Didn't get all my water in, but that was ok. When I tried to finish my liter after the gym, it did weird things to my tummy, so I backed off. That's ok, though, I'll get it all in today.

Mornin', DQ!

Not really. I have to work tonight, too - 10pm to 6:30am saturday morning. I normally go to the gym Saturday mornings after work, but there's a hot air balloon festival thing here in town this weekend that the hubby is supposed to be "working" at. He works for a milk processing plant and they have a giant cow shaped hot air ballon, apparently, and he's on the "Moo Crew." LOL. Anyway, I'd like to take the camera out and get some pictures if I can stay awake long enough. So, I'll go home, take a nap, and hope he remembers to wake me up early enough to take a shower and go with him so that I don't have to drive.

2 more hours of work for the night, and I can go home and crash! Thursdays usually suck because it's so hard for me to get any sleep, so today I'll have been up for 24 hours by the time I get home. Ugh. Oh well.
 
Mornin' Turtle! I think ballon festival sounds fun!:) Ok I have never seen a cow shaped ballon!! :eek: How cool is that!

As far as the weigh in thing, I bet you have a big loss next week!

Yuck on the 24 hours of no sleep! But the hot air baloon festival sounds like tons of fun! I've always wanted to go to one of those. A cow shaped baloon? That cracks me up!

-1.5lb is fantastic!

If I make it to the balloon thing tomorrow I'll post a pic of the cow. I think there's also supposed to be an Energizer Bunny. But if it's as cold tomorrow as it is now, I don't know. It's 37F!
 
Friday 1/12/07

Ok, lets see how today went.

Breakfast:
1 cup Chunky Baked Potato and Steak soup. 200 calories
1 kiwi. I think that was the last of the kiwis. I swear, if I eat one more kiwi, my head is going to turn round and fuzzy!:eek:
Lunch - slept through.
Snack - 2 pieces of fudge and 1.5 servings of 1% milk. 299 calories total
Supper - taco salad - about 1.5 cups of mixed lettuces, 4 oz of lean ground turkey, taco sauce, 1/2 cup cheese, and about 2 tbsp of light ranch. 489 calories
Snack - full fat, full flavor carmel hot chocolate. I'm freezing my tushie off! 140 calories

Now, I'm considerig going and laying down again for another hour or so before I have to get up to shower for work. :)

Oh, I did get all my water for the day!:cool:

37! Brrrr....lol It was a nice 75 here today! :p The cow thing sounds awesome! :) What'd be better if they had a pig...you know..."If pigs could fly"....ok, bad attempt at humor! haha

Just droppin in to say hey...I need to stop whinning abt being at -7 LOL...FUDGE YUMMY that my friend is one of my no no foods, some things I cant just eat in moderation...LOL...

I came home about 7 this morning, immediately climbed in bed. Luckily the hubby stayed in bed long enough for me to warm up enough to be almost asleep when he got up. I woke up about 11 FREEZING! My toes were so cold they were numb! I don't know why he thinks that 62F is a reasonable room temperature! Dear God, it's a good thing I left the heat lamps on the turtle tanks when I went to work last night - I don't need turtle-pops! And about $100 a vet visit x 6 turtles, plus drugs and my time to take them in and then give them injections, all because he doesn't want to turn the heat up? No, thank you!

Thanks for all the replies, y'all. The fudge really isn't so bad, so long as I only have a piece and then walk away. But if he doesn't finish eating it soon, I'm going to get rid of it. It sits there and laughs at me.

Rose - I'll look for a pig, just for you!
 
Oops. Forgot to put in todays food so far.

Breakfast: 1 slice of pizza and 7 steak fries, Diet Dr. Pepper
Lunch: 1 english muffin with a tiny little bit of butter and less than 1 tbsp of grape jelly. Hot green tea (decaf) to try to warm my fingers up.
Snack: 1 serving light string cheese and about 6 sips of Diet Dr. Pepper.

No idea what supper will be.

Ok, I'm off to find flying barnyard animals! And maybe when I get back, post some before and during pictures :eek:

I totally get it about the 1.5 lbs. It always looks so much better to me in other people's diaries. Still you are on your way to another loss now. Persistance is our most necessary virtue. I always notice what a great job you are doing with your food despite your awkward hours.

Looking forward to your pictures. :)
