OMG! I'm gonna have to go to the gym and and burn off like 80000000000000000000000000000000000000000 calories to make up for last night and this morning! And to think, I used to do this all the time! It's no wonder I topped out at 217!

I gave in and had a double cheeseburger on the way to the balloon thing last night. Then I had hot chocolate while there - I was freezing, even with 2 pairs of pants and 2 long shirts, a heavy coat, gloves, hat, and scarf on. Then we had frozen pizza when we were both home. I went over my calories, but stayed under 2000, so it shouldn't be too bad.

But this morning - UGH! I don't know what got into me! I don't know if it was the fact that we don't go to breakfast out very often anymore, or what, but dear god!

Large glass of chocolate milk.
Glass of water
2 pancakes with syrup and a little butter.
Some hashbrowns.

After estimating portion sizes, I'm already up to about 1400 calories and it's not even lunch time yet! But, thankfully, I'm not hungry for lunch, so I might just skip that. Or have something small, like an apple or something.

All that on top of skipping yesterday morning's normal gym time. Ugh. Guess I better get up and go now, huh?

Yep - get thee to a gym - quick ;)

Sometimes, we just have to look at meals like that and appreciate how far we've come since those were a regular occurance!
 
Ok, well, I went to the gym, and I worked my butt off. I did 25 mintues on the eliptical, and 15 on the bike, plus weights. I haven't yet plugged it into Spark to see what they figure calorie wise, but it's got to be more than the 270-some odd that the machines estimated. Hateful machines.

Edit: Ok, Spark says 528 calories for my 40 mintues of cardio - I don't know how accurate that is, but it makes me feel a little better!

You posted pix, I gotta find them...Congrats on draggin your butt to the gym, I love that Elliptical...Im glad I spent money on it I didnt really have, LOL...heres to healthier eating...:):):) Just lookin at your pix, lookin good chicky!!!
 
Thanks, Cinderelly, but I don't feel like I look good at the moment. Of course, it could be the pancakes and partial order of hashbrowns. Sigh.
 
Having those little extras are all part of life txturtlegirl. Beating yourself up just makes you feel more crappy. I can understand how crappy you feel when you have been doing good and then eat stuff you know you didnt want too. Sometimes..when i do that...i feel physically sick, mostly because im so emotionaly sick from 'screwing up'...

Ok, well, it's only 2:15 and today has been LOADS better!

Breakfast:
3/4 cup apple cinnamon cheerios
1 cup 1% milk

Gym:
30 minutes on the eliptical - yeah! I started at 15 mintues :eek:
20 minutes on the stationery bike

Lunch:
2 slices reduced calorie wheat bread
About 2 tbsp Miracle Whip Light
2 oz 99% fat free sliced turkey breast
1 oz sharp cheddar cheese
100 calorie pack Nacho Cheese Doritos
1 can Diet Dr. Pepper (trying to get rid of a headache with caffeine!)

According to Spark so far, I've eaten 659 calories, and burned 656! :eek:
 
Ok, finished out today with some baked chicken, marinated and baked in a mesquite marinade sauce stuff.
1 cup of chicken flavored Rice-A-Roni
1/3 cup corn
1/2 cup romaine lettuce salad with 2 tbsp Light Done Right 3 Cheese Ranch dressing.
I'm slightly under the low end of my calorie range, but with yesterday turning out the way it did, I'm not gonna worry about it.
 
Ok, today is a weird graveyard day. I'm covering for one of the other girls today and tomorrow, so my meals are a little off.

Breakfast:

- yes, leftovers from last night!
Snack:
1 Orange

I've done some walking and some stair climbing already - stupid elevators that don't go to certain floors! Aargh! LOL

My thighs might, but my knees won't! My knees are better now than they were 2 months ago, but I still have the knees of a 50-year-old. I won't even be 30 until October! :rolleyes:

Ah, well.
