Trying to lose 40lbs

Breakfast
1. two cooked eggs
2. Spinach, lettuce, carrot blended with Chia
Lunch
1. salmon, tofu, lentills cooked together.
2. Spinach
Dinner
1. Lentils, sardines and fried tofu
2. Spinach, lettuce, carrot blended with Chia

2 mile walk with the dog.
 
Day #17
Breakfast
1. 3 eggs cooked
2. spinach, carrot and lettuced blended with chia
Lunch
1. Lentils and turkey
2. Spinach.
Dinner
1. Lentils and turkey
2. Spinach, lettuce blended with water and chia.
 
Overall, my sleep patterns seem to be much better. I'm not sure about the rest of the diet (lack of fruit), but the exclusion of sugar seems to be a very good thing.

1 mile walk with the dog after breakfast

1. Lentils
2. Salmon patty
3. Peas.

2. Lentils
3. Peas
Dinner
1. Tempeh
2. Lentils
3. Spinach Lettuce blended with water and chia.

Only a one mile walk with the dog today.

Lunch
1. Lentils
2. Salmon patty with egg white mixed in.
--No veggies, forget to stop by the store:(

Dinner
1. Lentils with a little salmon mixed in
2. tempeh
3. Spinach, carrot and lettuce blended with chia and water.

No exercise today.
 
My weigh in today was 215.6 lbs. A loss of 2.8 lbs since last saturday. I will stay on the diet for another week and then re-evaluate it and probably work some fruit in.

Thanks Tik. I've been reading your diary also. I'm just walking right now, but I hope to get into an exercise program like yours -- you have a lot of energy.
 
Cheat day.
3300 calories today. I feel bloated and I'm ready to re-start my diet tomorrow morning.

Breakfast.
1. Two whole (cage free) eggs.
2. Lentils with a little bit of tempeh mixed in.
3. lettuce, carrot, squash and spinach blended with chia and water.
 
Day #22
1.5 mile walk on the treadmill and some slight resistance exercise. I will be taking the dog on a 1 mile walk later in the day.

Lunch -- at the work cafeteria today
1. Spinach, lettuce salad.
2. chunks and slices of chicken
3. 1 hard boiled egg.

Mid-day meal. I started getting some strong cravings. The lack of legumes during my early lunch didn't help.

2. Small portion of salmon

Dinner,
1. Lentils.
2. Salmon, tempeh with egg white, flavored with soy and cooked as a patty.
3. Spinach, carrot blended with water and chia.

2 Mile walk with the dog.

Just drinking water... period.

3. Mixed vegetables.

Made an appt. to get a DEXA analysis tomorrow.

1.5 mile walk with dog.

1. Salmon, egg white, garlic patty
2. lentils
3. spinach, carrot blended with water and chia.
