Looks like you'll be takin' your friends out to eat to celebrate your goal acheivment... what are you planning for when you hit your new goal?

The plan was that I'd take them out when I hit 185. That is what I made my new goal, so that's the plan. Looking forward to it, too. I haven't had steak since then which was some time in June.Damn! I gotta get me a steak.
I wouldn't be able to survive. Take away my chocolate, take away my french fries, take away my bread... but take away my steak? Oh hell no! 3 things I've refused to give up during this whole thing are my steak, my Jack and my coffee. I don't consume a lot of any of those anymore, I really cut back when I started this whole journey... but cut out? No freakin' way.

Oh, I haven't cut out beef, or steak. I just haven't been choosing steak. You know where you order up a porterhouse steak, marinated, sprinkled with blucheese and broiled to just where it gets more tender.![]()

Here I am trying like hell to get into a largely meatless, low in saturated fat diet to drop my 260 total cholesterol numbers and you go talking about porterhouse steak. Only my favorite cut of all time, you know, nicely seared over an open flame with just the right seasonings
Ooh and serve that up with a baked potato loaded withbutter and sour cream

Me, I'd skip the baked potato, but some garlic bread. Oh, now that's something. Not that crap that they sell in the grocery store. I'm talking the good Trops just made it garlic is roasted and mixed right in the dough focaccia with perhaps some thyme and coarse salt.
