Trops Diary

Congrats on the weigh in, even if it was a little misleading. Tomorrow's official one will be a good one, I know it ;)

10000 jumps, my hell. I can't imagine that. Good luck with the run today, and hopefully hitting a PB for yourself. I'm thinking about a run tonite but I will have to see what's going on first.

I think I might skip the run tonight. I'm still prety stiff and sore from last night. I know that a good run will help that, but it's getting dark so early thise days. I'll see if I can free up some time before dark.

I didn't know you got down and CRUNK with CYPRESS HILL

:toetap05: Ahem! The Hill don't get CRUNK, that's Dirty South, hellllo??? ;) :p

Cornrows, eh? Remember the Electric Boogaloos? The intro sucks but to sit through it is soooo worth it...what great choreography! :D And to a Bar Kays song, too--haha! EVERTHANG WE DO IS FUNKY UP IN HERE!

Well, I did go running. None too soon, too. It was dark by the time I finished. I did 5k in 25 min 33 sec. I think that's my best time so far. I really want to get under an 8 min mile. That would put me at 24 min 48 sec. I think I could have done it if my hip wasn't aching. As it was I was close. I was trying to take it easy, but towards the end I just kept speeding up. My HR was at 179 at the end, but after 5 min it was down to 118, so I think that's good.

Well, I'm close to my goal and as I thought early on, it isn't really a final goal. I don't know if I really thought I could do it this time, or if I'd fall off like so many other attempts, but I'm now at a lower weight and better shape then I have been in easily 15 years. So, I'm officially changing my goal weight down another 10 pounds to 185. :ack2: It doesn't really seem likely, but looking at the areas that can use some losing, I guess it is. Well, back to it. :smash:

Oh yeah, don't it feel good? Does the wifey say nice things to you? I feel weird asking this, but uh.... hmmmm....you don't have to answer this but is your sex life better now that you're all fit and skinny? Ugh I can't believe I asked that.....:ack2:

If Karl were here he'd commend you pushing your envelope.

No problems, Bunny. I'm not shy. I don't ever divulge secrets, so there is no details to be given. We have always had a healthy sex life, though.

My wife is one of those people who see through people's outsides right to their core. If you are a good person, she will see you as atractive, and a bad person is ugly. She found me atractive and even sexy at my heaviest and just as much now. She is glad that I'm healthier because her plan is to keep me around for many many years. :D

Warm hearted shit! :beating:

When I got in really great shape my sex drive went through the roof, but the BF at the time was a lazy smoker-drunk. That sucked. It's nice being single, and the YOGA helps me keep my energy in check so I don't go nuts, all celibate and shit. I think I'm moving on from going out and pimpin' ho-boyz and kickin' mad game.....perhaps someday I'll get lucky like Sam did :)

There is that saying that you make your own luck. With relationships you have to make that luck everyday. Never take it for granted.

I remember seeing that show, The Newlywed Game, years ago. One question was, "How many times a day does your spose say, 'I love you?'" People were answering once, twice, five times. I think an average for us is 10-20 times and we've been maried for 11 years. What are these people thinking? Every day is a day to celebrate when you are in love. Today is our 4102 day maried and it's better then ever.

Heart warming shit or not, it's my diary. :p

Heh... Val's really pushing the Yoga. :D All I have to say is it really helps me. I'm a lot more flexible than I've been in years. Helps with recovery time when I do something stupid in my martial arts class. AND... with being a lot more flexible added to the increased libido because of dropping the weight and getting in better shape... :reddevil:

I'm right there with ya... my husband & I probably tell each other "I love you" at least a dozen times a day. Been married for 15 years.

Trops! Looks like you're doing great as always. Can't wait til I'm adjusting my goals down. :D Keep it going man, you're amazing.

Saying I love you is one of the few things Matt is great at vocalizing. When he's here I'd say we average around a dozen or more a day. :) He may not be good at saying everything else, but he's a pro at letting me know those 3 not-so-little words. Been married for 4 years now and he still makes sure to tell me he loves me as often as he can.

On a less mushy note ;) great job with your run! I don't think I could do a 5k in 25 minutes without someone chasing me...hell I think I'd need a car chasing me to go that fast. :ack2: Just please be carefull with your hip. it's better to baby it a bit now, than to seriously screw something up and have to baby it a LOT for longer.

:iagree: I don't count days, but I will be married 21 years November 28th. We still hold hands, we still kiss in public, we still end every phone call with "I love you" and yah,,, stuff works just fine in the bedroom:sifone: Relationships don't just happen, chemistry can, but relationships are built.

Great job on the run Trops.

Looks like you'll be takin' your friends out to eat to celebrate your goal acheivment... what are you planning for when you hit your new goal?

Excellent run Trops :)

Sounds like you and your wife are a match made in heaven. I really truly envy that. Right now with this new thing I got going I'm really really excited for what might come but I'm trying to not put too much pressure on myself to not fuck shit up, if you know what I mean... I really feel like we have a great connection and it's not just sexual...
