Success's Diary! 100 pounds need to go.

hey success! I just read all three pages of your diary and sounds solid! Seems like you haven't jumped over board-- good for you!!


On the note of caloric intake, I just want to point out it really is individualized.


As Shawnam had to up her calories to lose pounds. I believe marinawife (username wrong?) posted in the before and after pic in her thread that she ate 1200 calories, yet worked out nearly everyday for a 3k caloric expenditure, which is huge, and she lost her ~40-50 pounds in less than 5 months!


Every person is different, this dieting thing is tough. I personally just want a guide to diet and exercise which will guarantee a 2.5 pound loss per week, but I guess we have to play around to figure out what works for each of us. I find that as valuable time wasted!!!


Anyways --- keep it up. You got my eyebrow raised about vegan burger patties, maybe i'll pick up a package next time i go shopping!
 
I've been riding the no diet soda wave too, I've been making batches of ice tea and keeping that in the fridge and not even buying the diet soda. Its worked out well, I've had a few slip ups but I noticed how bloated I feel after a diet soda and thats a pretty good deterant. Slips are fine, just don't let it turn into a free fall.

Feeling gooder- Thank you very much! I actually keep a jug of crystal light in the fridge too :p but i rarely drink it...instead my brother drinks all of it!


lauralee- thanks so much for reading every page of my diary! glad you've been able to enjoy it. you're right about the caloric intake... i'm trying to lose 100 pounds in a year, which is about 2 pounds per week. The diet I'm following, at one point- I believed would help me lose that weight but I'm unsure now. I've been eating healthy foods and under control but I didn't go down 2 lbs this week... I know these things can be off sometimes though, I'm trying to not let it discourage me. It's hard for me to work out as much but I'm going to try to up that. Definitely try out the vegan patties...they are semi feeling, and taste great! only 70 calories...thanks again


Old school - ah thank you! I guess I just felt crappy and panicked after slipping up... I was huge on diet soda, had at least a can a day up until 15 days ago so i was so proud of myself for staying away from that stuff for so long... I had diet soda again today while I was at the movies. but tomorrow i'm getting back on it. no soda, only water! Thanks for your encouraging words

Thank you sarah! And I'm happy to say I did finally go under the 240 mark.. thought I wasn't losing weight, maybe the 2 lbs came off on wednesday instead of on monday (which would have been a week)

Hey congratulations on breaking the 240 barrier!! Keep at it and those barriers will keep coming down! I'm really proud of you and your committment...it really is sooo worth it!
