snacks: wow its SO hard being back at work..there is temptation everywhere - a friend gave me chocolates yesterday (which i gave to others), plus people are always selling huge chocolate frogs for $1..they are everywhere! luckily i found a packet of dried apricots and i snacked on them, but over the day i must have had about 8, which is not great. still, better than the chocky. i've been really, really hungry today. managed to stave it off with coffee and by looking at my fat tummy!


Hey Sheidi! How are ya? Good job giving away the chocolates! I admire your dedication. Gotta love those dried apricots. Yumm. And they are much better than chocky froggies. heheh

thanks miss jb - i'm trying! when i walk past the frogs (which i do about 50 times a day) i mock them! just a couple more months..

hi newleaf! i just posted in that thread :) i posted my weightloss already, i hope thats okay (i've put it at 70kgs as thats what i weigh today). and yes, its saturday here :) happy friday!

friday 17 feb

b: special k with skim milk

l: sandwich on brown bread with turkey, cranberry sauce, brie and garden salad

d: 2 scrambled eggs with half a cup of baked beans. one no fat yoghurt

2ltrs water, coffee, tea, one cordial

exericse: push ups, lifts, crunches at home
 
didn't have a great food or exercise day today, too bloody hot:

b: ww cereal with no fat milk

l: about half a spinach crepe (at our multicultural festival) and then one slice of cinammon bun at my friend's house - with icing, yum!

d: i went out, thought we'd be eating but we didn't! i had one beer, one red wine and one lime and soda and some water all night. no food so i feel kind of crap, but its nearly 1am so no point eating now :/

only exercise was walking around town - oh i did 25 pushups this morning.

Hey Girl! How are ya? How long is frog season at your work? lol Mock those frogs girl! hehe. Hope you have a great day tomorrow! Way to crank out some push ups. I did a few today, I'm so horrible at it. Do you do the man push ups or the woman push ups? I try both, and suck at both. lol
 
im amazed at the amount of water you drink. Thats fantastic. I drink all day long and im not entirely sure how much but i dont think its 3 ltrs :)

hi miss jb and miss wishes :)

i long ago shied away from this diary due to a huge gain from about march. i went from 80kgs when i started last year (october or november) and reached 68kgs in march, with a goal of 65kgs. i then binged my way back up to 78.5kgs last month. i'm now back on the straight and narrow - for about four weeks now, and examining why i mucked up my great results before. my weight as of yesterday is 73.6kgs, and i once again have a goal of 65kgs, which i'd love to reach by my next birthday at the end of november.

thanks for waking this sleeping giant up, ladies :D

btw - they have those wretched chocolate frogs all year round at work, and they've started bringing in even MORE fund raisers, so there's chocolate and treats everywhere - grr. haven't had one yet, but its a struggle :)
 
Tuesday

well bugger me, the scales today say 74.1kgs. cheeky things. i guess i'll be having a much leaner day today!

b: 2 slices soylin toast with tspn butter and vegemite, 1 orange

fast walk around parly house - 40 mins

l: salad with lettuce, beetroot, carrot, radishes, ww cottage cheese and caviar.

s: cup a soup - then on the way home from work i had a small freddo frog

went to the gym expecting a pump class, but it was body attack - knowing that would destroy me lol, i just hit the treadmill and bike for 30 minutes

d: 2 slices soylin toast with 2 poached eggs and 1 tspn butter

s: one baked fruit bar (picked some up after work, i realised the lunch salad isn't nearly enough to keep me going, i need something more)

wednesday

scales say 73.7kgs - don't think i'll score a loss this week!

walked to my son's current school to watch his athletics carnival over lunch (very convenient timing). I just missed his first race - 100m, he came second only losing by .19 of a second. i saw his other race, 200m which he also came second in, this time by one second. he lost to the same kid each race. he ran really well (unlike his mother, lol) and i was all proud probably about a 30 minute walk

l: lentil soup and the last of the chicken i made on sunday - just one drumstick i took the chicken from, and a very small amount of the casseroley bits. one fruit bar.

s: sml freddofrog

d: fried (in a tiny bit of butter and olive oil) bream fillets with half a baked sweet potato and about a bulb of garlic. lemon and pepper over the top of it all.

s: nestles diet lemon pudding (on sale at woolies for $2 for two!)

I'm so happy to see you back! I just got back too, so I feel what you are saying. Up and down, down and up, etc..

Let's do it this time! I say we strive for a new years goal. I don't want to start another year off wanting to lose weight!! Every year that passes and my booty getting bigger just makes me so exhausted thinking about it.

We can do it! One day at a time. Have a happy and healthy day today! Hugs
 
thanks miss jb :D yes, its terribly frustrating this up and down nonsense. i hate myself at this size though and NONE of my clothes that i like fit. so there's no other option but to move forward. let's both be fit and gorgeous this christmas :D

Friday - tgif!

scales hate me today at 73.7kgs, that's only 100g down since last friday (and 100g more than monday). its tom so maybe that's also not helping..

fast walk in the rain (yay!) 40 mins

l: i could eat this all over again, lol - lettuce, sml tin of tuna, 4 pieces (like wedges) of baked sweet potato, about 100grms chickpeas, toasted flaked almonds (a level tbspn, or a bit less), with fresh coriander and some cumin over the chickpeas and sweet potato, it was so yummy. one vaalia fat free yoghurt

s: one baked fruit bar, boy howdy i'm hungry heidi today

80 crunches

d: sml tin baked beans + 2 scrambled eggs, one diet nestle lemon pudding

30 minutes walking this morning at son's AFL game - he scored his first goal!

l: one fruche

bodypump - new release day at the gym

s: (at a one year old's birthday party) four crustless quarters of cucumber sandwich, four chips, one glass red wine

d: sml filet of kangaroo steak (my first time eating the kangaroochi), garlic mashed potato (sml serve), green beans and red onion with balsamic vinegar. it was made for me but a very good size and very nice.

after that my son and i went to meet some friends at a dinner. i had one glass of wine and fought off dessert thoughts (and watched everyone eat theirs ) and ordered a skinny flat white coffee. it came with a small mint chocolate which i did eat

Sunday

b: 2 slices of soylin toast with 1 tspn butter and vegemite

l: 2 ryvita crackers with tomato and 1 slice of cheese divided between them, one baked fruit bar

s: 1 baked fruit bar

d: bought a ready done chicken breast stuffed with spinach and ricotta - said it was 250 cals per serve. very nice (and on sale), but my son didn't agree - i'll save his for my dinner another night. had it with 1 tbspn of left over mashed potato with garlic and some steamed broccoli, cauliflower and beans.

s: ww chocolate pudding - son DID like that

bad on water today, barely half a litre - i kept forgetting to drink. my exercise was shopping at the supermarket and the veggie market, was exhausted when i got home
