exercise - no time to get to the gym (had to go help a friend who'd put their back out, then straight from there for the three hour round trip to collect my son) so i just did about 40 crunches, 20 pushups (10 shoulder, 10 tricep) and 40 arm lifts

happy to report that i had no treats this time in the car

good for u on the no treats in the car~ I do the back and forth with my younger son as well. He stays with his dad during the week, and i get him fri sat and sun. but even then i hardly see his butt...hes always running, jumping on the neighbor boys trampoline or spending the night with them...gotta share a story speaking of which.

He is 13, wirey, wears glasses, blonde...anyways he's our official nuthead. Once back when we had our own trampoline(no more, as twelve b ig teens ruined it!) He decided to put on his little sister's ballet outfit and go jumping on it!!! THEN the little turd was dared by his big brother to go running thru the neighborhood with it on...so off he goes, with a wand in his hand goofin around and putting spells on people and acting a fool up and down the street.Laughing out loud the whole time!!just a giggling!! He wanted a mohawk one year, and proudly displayed it in his sixth grade pics. If he wakes up with messy hair, and we tell him, he has to run to the mirror and just laugh at it...Definitely our 'class clown".:p

anyways, had to share! and mmm mm salmon sounds goo ood!

your son sounds hilarious! i can't wait to see how mine is as a teen. he's delightful now - a good balance against his atrocious 15 year old sister, she's a nightmare at the moment!

hehe, my D is 16, stereotypical redhead, and mornings are not her friend!Oh boy, when I drive her to school, Most mornings Im in a fairly upbeat mood, but HER mood could frighten every little schoolkid within miles! Shes either REALLY happy, or REALLY REALLY p'o'ed...No gray with her! Just two dials...yay, or GRR! lol..

how funny - my teen daughter is just like that, either hysterically happy or sad, its EXHAUSTING lol !

today..

b: one no fat yoghurt

l: sweet potato roasted, cumin, pepper, half a cup of basmati rice, broccoli

d: scrambled eggs and baked beans with about a tbspn of shredded cheese

3 ltrs water, tea, green tea, coffee

exercise - 40 mins on the treadmill at the gym

wednesday 15 feb

b: scrambled eggs and baked beans

l: egg and lettuce on rye bread (forgot i'd had eggs for breakfast!)

d: spag bol with beef mince - small portion

snacks: wow its SO hard being back at work..there is temptation everywhere - a friend gave me chocolates yesterday (which i gave to others), plus people are always selling huge chocolate frogs for $1..they are everywhere! luckily i found a packet of dried apricots and i snacked on them, but over the day i must have had about 8, which is not great. still, better than the chocky. i've been really, really hungry today. managed to stave it off with coffee and by looking at my fat tummy!

2 ltrs water, coffee, tea

exercise: i got up at 0530 to go to the gym, but i was too tired so i went back to bed! i went for a good brisk walk at lunch time for about 40 mins. i came back all sweaty without even noticing. gross, yet good!

Sheidi, sounds like you're doing well! Way to go skipping out on the chocolate frogs.. but uhm. why frogs?? where is it you work that they are selling these items all the time?!

Good job on the walk too! I know its tough getting up that early for the gym, so at leats you made up for it. Plus you probably needed that extra bit of sleep! :D Keep it up!

hi newleaf :) yeah frogs must sound weird, but one of the most popular chocolates here are 'freddo frogs' which come in a bunch of flavours and we all grew up with - yum!

i think you are right about the sleep. i'll just keep doing other things until i'm used to being back at work, then hopefully soon i'll get back to the mornings. i'm thinking tues, wed and thurs will be enough.

thursday 16 feb

b: one no fat yoghurt

l: egg and lettuce sandwich on brown bread

d: one no fat yoghurt and four slices of ham

3 ltrs water, coffee, tea

exercise - 30mins on the treadmill at the gym, pushups, lifts and 50 crunches at home

didn't have much dinner as i had to go to an information evening at the school and didn't get home until 8pm. didn't want to overeat so late..

Good Morning! I think you have the right idea on catching up with being back to work & getting back to mornings later. :) Keep up the great work you're doing really well!
