Tuesday

thought about doing pilates dvd this morning as i can't go for a walk at lunch time (work thing) but bed was way too comfy..

b: weeties + skim milk

l: rice and chicken left over from last night - had a very small portion as i knew i'd be having a chocolate muffin (i took the smallest) that i'd made for a friends' birthday lunch

ended up going for a half hour walk (couldn't resist)

took another walk while son at karate - 20 mins. walked around the fruit shop trying to find a healthy snack, ended up with

s: 2 dried pineapple rings

d: about a cup of cooked penne with tomato pasta sauce and about a tbspn of parmesan cheese

3ltrs water

Wednesday

b: porridge with skim milk

50 minute fast walk - i was lucky to not get rained on!

l: chilli + one pineapple fruche, one slice plastic lo fat cheese

s: baked fruit bar

walk to the shops to get milk and chocolate for the children - 20 minutes

d: i wanted to have tuna but all the tins i bought were gone (my daughter is like a locust) so i had to have the left over spinach pie.

3.5 ltrs water
 
just chucked the past few days up there, good thing i keep it all recorded!

was thinking about the gym for lunch time today as vince only does 2 classes a week now *cry*, one being today, but it takes too long to go when i'm at work :(


thursday

was really mean to my son this morning for no reason (just extra picky and not pleasant)! pmt? dunno but i said sorry and must now think of something to make up for it! i hate it when i'm moody!

b: porridge with skim milk

50 minute walk

l: tuna and green salad sandwich on brown bread, one rivyta

s: one banana caramel lo fat vaalia yoghurt

d: 2 poached eggs over a bed of lettuce with some chickpeas and a tbspn toasted slivered almonds

s: one caramello koala and one lindt ball

d: ratatouille (all gone), 2 scrambled eggs and 2 tbspns of ww cottage cheese, 1 nestle diet trifle (65 cals!)

I gotta say something here, i don't know what half of this stuff is, being a westerner from the west i am kind of a dork, i guess i am wondering what a ratatouille and a trifle is:confused: but you are doing awsome and congrats on the abs, i hope to find mine someday:D good luck :)
 
trifle is like a sponge cake with alchy on it and fruit stuff and all cooked together to make a weird tasting pudding thing.
 
yep, yummy too. my step mother makes the best one in the world - but this pudding is just similar, and lo fat :)

ratatouille is french, just tomato, eggplant, zuccini, garlic, onion and basil - i roast mine and then cook it all up together on the stove, i love it :)

and while my abs may hurt, i still can't see the bugger yet - lol :D

friday

checked the scales today, they say 74.4kg. i just can't understand how i've put on a kilo - and according to this only lost 600g for the whole of august.

b: porridge with skim milk

s: one fruche, one rivyta (been trying not to snack in the morning, but i'm feeling very tired and listless and the answer to that is food!)

walk to a shopping centre with a friend. slow as we always are when together - about one hour. i had to get a present for my niece anyway, so i don't mind.

l: lettuce, chickpeas, sml tin tuna (thought it was normal - i bought 6 tins yesterday as they were 99c each, but its got some tomato stuff in it - ick! have to eat it tho!), 2 rivytas with 2 slices tomato, 2 slices plastic lo fat cheese

walk to the shops while adam did karate - bargain food hunting 30 minutes

d: diet nestles creme caramel - yes, this isn't dinner. i just had it and its almost 10pm. i had some news today that kind of threw me way off...and kinda lost my appetite.

father / son football match to end the season. the parents won (just) but there was a lot of dads sitting on kids and kids piling up on hapless coaches - very fun morning i was goal umpire (for the first time) so i had to run around a bit and do the flag waving and goal and behind arm movements they had a sausage sizzle (naturally) so i had

l: one and a half sausages in white bread with tomato sauce (its the australian way ). half a giant python lolly

s: three crisps, 3 small chocolates (father's day - delayed due to childrens father visiting this weekend) and one fruche

d: ravioli with mushrooms - very nice. glass of wine.

today i had to go to my niece's first eucharist (i'm not catholic but my sis-in-law is) and well, the results foodwise were bad! plus i missed out on the lovely vince :cry:

l: well, morning tea which stretched out until about 3pm. i believe i ate the following: 1 small brownie, about 4 handfuls of chips, about 5 lollies, sml cup of fanta

went to collect my daughter from her bfs place, but she had come home without telling me (after begging me to pick her up) so i lost over half an hour and my usual vince class at the gym

d: ratatouille and 2 scrambled eggs

feeling a bit flat - my eyes are hurting and itchy and i have had a headache all day. today is the first time i willingly didn't go for my lunch time walk in ages, just tired.

feeling a bit better! have to take daughter for minor surgery this afternoon, so will be running around looking after her and also trying to figure out how to collect son at the same time i'm collecting daughter - at opposite ends of town!

l: no time as with the doctor

d: 2 scrambled eggs, 2 tbpns lo fat cottage cheese, one cooked carrot. muffin (found a mix on sale - coles brand, you don't even need to add an egg or oil, just water. plus they are only 156 cals per muffin! the other ones i got were nearly 250)

s: got the munchies later so i had two cruskits (crackerbreads) - one plain one with heaps of vegemite

well, i took the plunge and weighed myself, first time in a while - 71.7kgs! hooray to not weighing very often! its probably wrong or something, but i'll at least enjoy it for today

b: porridge with skim milk

went for a fast walk - 40 mins

in my efforts to save and plan better, i remembered i had some frequent flyer miles left on my credit card (cancelled). i happily redeemed 6 child movie tickets and 2 $20 store vouchers (for christmas pressies) but got a rude email back saying no go (presumably because the card is cancelled, although they still charge me fees!) bastardos!

l: sml tin tuna in springwater (think i'll go back to the oil ones after this - sure more cals but SO much nicer!), about a third of a cup of chickpeas, same of beetroot and lo fat cottage cheese, fresh coriander.

had an appt at 4pm with a doc, i waited until 4:30 then left! how slack. luckily i feel fine now anyway i ended up going to the nearby mall and getting my incredibly overlong daggy hair trimmed at just cuts - only $21!

d: mushrooms sauted with garlic - oh and i put in some chopped tomato - yum! 2 scrambled eggs

s: made some granola bars with : oats, flour, brown sugar, honey, vanilla and butter, dark choc chips. not exactly lo cal, but low GI. i'm having a piece to test it for son's lunchbox tomorrow

l: sandwich on brown bread with 4 slices of ham and sweet mustard pickles. one granola bar

d: serve of spinach pie and roasted sweet potato and carrots, peas.

s: darn granola bar - they are so yum!
