Scarlett's Diary - Tomorrow is another day

Really though Scarlett...it was a time to celebrate and I really don't think you did too bad. You may have eaten more calories than you usually do, but it sounds like for the most part you ate well. Once in awhile, for something like a wedding, I am a believer that it is okay to let loose a little. Don't worry too much about it...just think...you could have done WAY worse. As Pineola said...good job on skipping a lot of the worse choices. :). And I hope you had a good time!

Hey Scarlett! What you ate really wasn't bad. Way to go on bypassing the bad tempting choices. ;) It may have been more calories than you were shooting for but it was food that was good for you, for the most part. :D
 
You did well Scarlett, it isn't easy at social functions but you held it together. And after the exercise, 1855 cals is not bad at all. It is at least a maintenance day, if not a bit less!! Keep it up ;)
 
By the way Scarlett...you left a comment in my diary at the beginning of June saying how you couldn't wait till you got to the 30 pound mark...and I just realized you are there! So congrats on that!!

wow. that is great. we all forget our lil successes looking for the next one. but we need to revel in the success and not let it slide away. only thirty to go!! whoo=hoo!!!

oops, I was so wrapped up in all of your comments I forgot to add my calories for the day! LOL!

No treadmill today, I did it five times this week so I figured I'd give myself a break today. Plus I wore high heeled strappy sandals last night and my feet are still killing me. Ate 1442 calories today and drank tons of water. Hopefully that will get me back on track.

Just my humble opinion, I think you did incredibly well at the wedding. The choices you made were pretty good, and well done on the water too. Its pretty hard when the main meal is served so late. I'm glad they had some healthy choices available for you.
 
Scarlett, you did great at the wedding! That day didn't "bite the dust"! You made great choices and even got in some calorie burning! I'm proud of you!
 
Scarlett, I was the maid of honour at a wedding last weekend, and let me tell you, I KNOW WHAT YOU MEAN! Sounds like you did much better on the food than I did, but I think both our feet hurt equally...

Anyways, thanks for checking up on me while I was 'off the internet', it meant a lot :)
 
Today I dragged hubby to target to look for a swim skirt. I told him "Scarlett said she got her's there." He said "who the hell is Scarlett?" Lol! :p
 
good morning (or afternoon for you) scarlett....i just read through your diary as you were kind enough to read through mine and i am very impressed iwth your successes. FORTY FIVE POUNDS GONE!! WOW. that is huge!!!!!!! congratulations!!!!!!!!!!!!! & you are still determined to get to your goal. GREAT WORK and keep it up. I'll be checking on you. BY the way, not to completely reiterate what every one else has said but you are beautiful. that first pic hiding your face doesnt do you justice! I hope you know you are blessed with beauty! Keep up the great work.

Yes, I have started using the spreadsheet. I entered in a bunch of my favorite food for quick reference. I started the calorie counting on there today. It is the quick and easy I was looking for. I have not exercised today so nothing there, but I had a question for you. What do you include as exercise? Are you only counting deliberate exercises or would you include the dancing at the wedding etc....?

Seems like your back on track today...that's good, but I knew you would be.

So I picked a chicken breast, some sliced roast beef, salad, and steamed veggies. Passed by all the cheesy casseroles and fried stuff and potatoes.

Good for you. Although your calorie count was high, it's still alot better than it could have been if you didn't resist at all. But you did! And at a buffet too. That's pretty goo! Woot! *cheers*

Hi everyone and thanks for stopping by.

missprincess, I'm just trying to stick to about 1500 calories a day and walking on my treadmill 4 to 6 times a week. And of course drinking tons of water. I don't have a lot planned for the rest of the summer vacation, event or guest wise. So that's good. I should hopefully just be able to concentrate on myself and sticking to my plan. I've got 30 left to lose and I would like it gone ultimately by Christmas. So that's where I am, babystepping it!!!!
