Weeeellllllll, I wish I could say my consumption at the wedding was a success, but alas......nope.
All in all I chose the right foods, but what got me was the cheese. When we got to the reception they had a really nice cheese, veggie and fruit display. Also about four hot hors d'oeuvres but I didn't have any of those. I ate crackers, cheese, olives, strawberries, celery and cucumber but with no dressing. Not too bad. But it took the bride and groom almost two hours to get to the reception. So while we're sitting there waiting, I went back for another little plate of cheese and crackers.
By the time they arrived and started the dinner buffet it was well after 9 pm. I shouldn't have even gone through the buffet line, but I would have felt stupid just sitting there while everyone else was eating. So I picked a chicken breast, some sliced roast beef, salad, and steamed veggies. Passed by all the cheesy casseroles and fried stuff and potatoes.
But still I figured my calories at 2500 for the day

And I didn't even drink any alcohol...just drank tons of water. I burned 475 on my treadmill earlier in the day and danced a bit..... which I figure may have burned another 200. That makes a net of 1855 calories for the day. So, another day bites the dust.
