Scarlett's Diary - Tomorrow is another day

Faces have been removed to protect the innocent!!! LOL!!! :D

The dress was a little loose in the bodice when I tried it on this morning which made it kind of hang on my frame and look a little frumpy. On my wedding day I could barely breath.

Thanks Crunchie. I was just in the UK last week on vacation and the weather was beautiful the whole week. And then wouldn't you know we get back home to America and it's been raining ever since!!! :eek:

Wow, you've been doing soooo good! I'm glad you showed the photo, but sad we couldn't see your face. :confused: I understand, silly girl would kill me in my sleep if I took a photo of her!!! HATES cameras. I can't help always striking a porn pose. Even in family shots. No pride....:rolleyes:

You keep going. It's so ture what you said earlier about this site and the folks on it. I've never gotten this far before!!! :p

I would say lucky you for having a holiday in the UK but then i look out the window and think hmmm. What bit of the UK were you in and were you after a city break or nice scenery? We are not too far from the lower highlands in Falkirk so lovely views are only about an hour in the car away.:D

Don't forget we need you just as much as you need us. I think we all really look forward to reading our journals and responding in others I know I certainly do.

And crunchie, we were south east of London for my brother-in-law's wedding. Did get to see a bit of the countryside and also made it into London for a day. I liked the countryside much better!!!! Here's a snap of me in the courtyard of a castle and I have not removed my face this time!!! :eek:

ooh the lady of the manor - very nice :)

London itself never did much for me -it's cool and all but the countryside is so beautiful - i didnt want to leave it... :) and the castles... I need a castle... :)
 
I'm so out of it, I was thinking when reading your post that you cried because you could fit into your wedding dress. I got a little teary eyed that you did. He probably didn't mean anything. Where was he from? In some places that is a compliment, believe it or not.

And Pineola, he was from the Middle East. He called his little baby girl fat too and she was cute as a button. So you're probably right. But of course in the moment I was crushed!

Lol! How cute! Made me think of some more romances that you would probably really like! ;) The series is set in London in the 1800s. By that same author, of course. :rolleyes:

I know how it feels to be told something so hurtful (happened to me my neighbor asked if I was pregnant! ) Don't let it stop you from doing so well as you have been!!! Keep up the great work!!!!!!!!!!:D
 
Just remember sometimes when a guy says something there is a broken link between our brain and our mouth..... Its not always intended the way it comes out......
 
Ok, ok I give up!!! Here's my face.....but I'm taking this down tomorrow. LOL :D Besides this was from New Year's Eve and I was like 20 pounds heavier.

I really felt hungry today and my calories were WAY high...1848 and burned 207 for a net of 1641. I've got a wedding tomorrow so that's a little scary. The wedding isn't until 6 pm, so I'm sure we won't even get to the reception until close to 8 pm. And I've not been eating or drinking after 7 pm as a rule. So if it ends up being just hors d'oeuvres I might be able to get away with not eating at all. We shall see.
