ARRRGGGGGHHHHHH :eek: - exam tomorrow! Don't feel prepared at all, think I may have to pull an all-nighter. There seems to be more material to get through than I originally thought!

Good news - went to iron my smartest doctor looking clothes for the exam tomorrow and thought I should try them on 'just in case' they didn't fit. Seem to have lost about 3 inches from the waist as the trousers hang right down. Really really pleased (although need to find something else to wear for tomorrow!)

Did 30 mins cardio exercise earlier - yippee, and ate fairly well although it may go down the pan if I have to stay up all night to revise.

Breakfast

Lunch
Feta and chicken salad (200 calories)

Dinner
Chicken in peppercorn sauce (230 calories)
Oven chips (200 calories)
Mixed vegetables (50 calories)

Snacks
2 cans diet coke (4 calories) - needed the caffeine boost!
Strawberries (28 calories)
Blackberries (43 calories)

Total for the day = 826 calories (374 spare for revision snacks)

Exam went well, then everyone decided to go out for dinner, didn't want to say no because I was on diet so I went along. Diet kind of went out the window a little bit! Going to try and salvage the day by eating just salad this evening. Don't think I have gone over my calorie limit (2000) to put on weight but I am fairly sure I have eaten more than 1200. Did enjoy it but feeling a little guilty after all the hard work I put in.

Lunch
Nothing, was sitting exam!

Dinner - estimating as no real values
2 deep fried chicken strips (200 calories)
Sweet chilli sauce (50 calories)
Quarter pound cheeseburger (450 calories)
Small fries (250 calories)
3 large diet cokes (10 calories)

Total = 1033 calories (doesn't seem to bad now I have added it up but I may be underestimating values)

I will try not to eat anything for the rest of the day and hopefully this won't send me off course. I am still as motivated as ever and won't let this little slip-up ruin everything. And......

WOOHOO GOT TWO WEEKS HOLIDAY
 
I'm so happy that you exam went well!! That must be a big relief!! I don't think you ate too badly! You deserved to splurge!! I'm glad you won't let your slip up ruin everything!

I really did enjoy all the bad food from yesterday, I had some fruit at tea time so I don't think I have gone over my calories, although a lot of those calories yesterday were fat based - oops! Back to the diet today and I am hoping it won't have had too much of an impact on Sundays weigh in.

Its weird being on holiday and having no timetable to run my life. Think I may clean - the house is a real mess!
 
YESTERDAYS CALORIES
Having a bit of a family crisis so went to pick up my 12 year old brother yesterday. My dad offered to buy us dinner so I couldn't really say no. Tried my best to be healthy and don't think I have gone over calorie wise but didn't eat enough vegetables and had about 2 litres of diet coke in total - eek

Breakfast
Blackberries (86 calories)

Lunch
Cereal (200 calories)
Milk (68 calories)

Dinner (from Harvester website)
Half a deep south chicken platter (950 calories)
Didn't quite eat half so the calories I didn't eat will probably cover the bits I picked at for the rest of the dinner
2 litres diet coke (12 calories)

Total = 1304 calories

Not too many over and hopefully this will shake my diet up a bit because I was getting stuck in the same food cycle. Not looking forward to Sunday weigh in. Need to becareful what I eat because my brother is here and he tends to eat rubbish, will try and seperate out meals so I stick with my diet ones and he can have what he wants.

Thanks, I really tried today but got a little carried away as my boyfriend managed to get time off to come up and see me. We all went out for dinner and I did the best that I could:

Lunch
Starbucks sandwich (low fat) (380 calories)
Earl grey tea (0 calories)
Blackberry and apple crumble (200 calories)

Dinner
Nandos chicken salad (292 calories)
Nandos fries (350 calories)
One homemade scooby doo choc lolly (50 calories)

Total = 1272 calories - doesn't seem too bad again but I feel like I won't be losing any weight this week. Hopefully won't have gained any and can start again properly next week. Am going to try and not go over again this weekend although may be difficult as we have a lot of activities planned. Having fun on holiday and its been really nice to see my brother, he's grown so much since last time I saw him!
 
YAY for getting to see your bf!! That must have been nice!! I'm sure you will be able to stay on track and not gain any weight as long as you just remember your ultimate goal!! You're so close don't give in to temtation!!!
 
Weight in day today. Was very scared because I have had 4 days of not really counting the calories accurately, eating out and sharing popcorn and chocolate over films without doing much exercise. Got on the scales and weighed 157.6! Haven't moved at all. Pleased really because I didn't want to be going up and realistically didn't think I would have lost any weight this week.
 
That's great you didn't gain any weight!! All those splurge days and being with your brother and getting to see your bf you did awesome!!
 
Having a good holiday and trying to stick to the diet but its not going too well. My plan is to start back on the diet when I am back into my routine and not on holiday as food is much easier to control then. Will have lost a couple of weeks towards my target for my birthday but its very difficult to be on a diet when you are meeting up with friends and staying at other peoples houses.

It is hard to stay on your diet when you are surrounded by temtation. I'm glad that you are having fun and are going to start again when your holiday is over!
