Rah's Diary started May 07

HI

Im getting weighed tonight (thurs) as i was working last night so i couldnt make weigh in :(
i dont think i have lost 1.5lb to take me under the 14 stone mark i think it is 1lb (according to my scales at home so we will see) thats makes me 14 stone dead. (196lb)

I am going shopping right after and i am determind to have a really good week so i am going to treat it like its my first week there look everything up and write everything down
If Becky can loose 4.5lb in a week i can do at least 2lb

I am so fustrated!!!
the scales at home showed me at 14.0 and they are normally exactly the same as SW scales but this week SW showed me at 14.2 thats a 1lb gain on last week!!!!
I was really not expecting that, if i cheat or see a gain at home im ready for it but to see a loss at home then a gain there .....

Anyway thats it back to basics this week food diary has been started and i am now aiming for 2.5lb this week to get me to 13 stone 13.5lbs

Don't worry too much over such a small gain, it may be just water weight. You'll probably see a bigger loss next week.
I'm sure you can reach your goal of 2.5 lbs this week.

Hi Sarah,

Try not to worry about the gain last week - your weight can go up and down for all sorts of different reasons other than your diet.
Im sure whatever it was will have sorted itself out by this week and you will have a good loss when you get weighed on Wednesday.

just found out that my graduation ceremony (cap and gown) is on the 18th July so that is my new date to look extra good as i have not seen anyone from uni since Dec so will look totally different (i hope lol)

thanks for stopping in at my diary. I know I get MIA, missing in action. Just happens, but I am trying to not let it happen. First I like to focus on my diary and than I start slowly going through others diaries, takes me a while. But I get there.

woohooo! sounds fun. i'm sure you will look different if you keep going the way you are.

Hi Sarah

It is really annoying when we work hard and know that we deserve a loss - but a gain is what happens. This happens to us all at times - and it is important that we do not get demoralised.

I weigh every day and see very clearly that we can gain for a host of reasons - the time of the month, amount of sodium in food, and even things like how our toilet habits are going.

We all hover just above milestones too - it is like they know that we are eager to get through them and they just keep us waiting.

The graduation ceremony sounds a great event to look forward to. Angel and I are always commenting to each other about how much slimmer we are going to look in July since that is when both our birthdays are. It is far enough away that we should still be able to make some very noticeable changes. I am sure that we can all do it.

hi sorry i have not been around this week
Scales on wednesday was not what i hoped ...i maintained which is better than a gain i know but i worked so hard!
I sopke to the SW consultant and she could not work out why i have not lost (looked at my food Diary) so this week i am being extra good and i WILL have a loss this week i was so tempted to go the chippy on wed and to asda to buy things to binge on but i didnt i got home and had pasta and watched tv Why ruin all the work i did last week!!! so this week is "star" week as they call it in SW so i am just hoping the 2 weeks of being good is enough to beat any water retention

I have a mini target of April the 26th i am going to a wedding and want to look different then i have my birthday in July (mine as well!!) thats the 11th and the graduation on the 18th
Then things change as Aug/Sept is the agreed time to start trying for a family i really hope i dont put all the weight back on i want to crave fruit like my friend who actually lost weight when preg now thats what i want lol

that sounds so good - craving fruit...now if i could change my choccy cravings for fruit that would be amazing!

I'm sure next week will be better. We all have maintaining weeks, so don't worry :D I know it's annoying but you have to keep a positive attitude. Good job on avoiding the binging!

I also have a mini target for April 26th! I'm going to the mountains with the bf and some friends and I want to look way better than I did last summer!

It's great that you're going to try to be a mom! I'm sure you'll be a great one!

Thats the plan! we decided before christmas that it would be about the right time (and have a summer baby) but its now march, time has gone so quick it will be sept before i know it, im getting nervous but excited about it all now!
 
so i just had a sneaky weigh in on my scales to 'prepare' for wed and its showing a loss and its showing me at 14 stone 0lb so my plan is to be extra extra good and loose 0.5lb by wed!
so glad i took my own food into work today even though lunch was provided i was eating fruit salad while everyone was tucking in to muffins but i feel so much better for it now!
 
Good luck at weigh in on Wednesday, I must admit I am one of those who often fall to the after weigh in binge... it's amazing just how much you can pack in between 7pm and 9!
 
ok so todays home weigh in was reading 13stone 13.5lbs hope to stay this way for tomorrow!!!!
I will now stop weighing everyday as i become obessed by it so back to weekly from tomorrow!
