HIYA

thanks and thanks again for dropping in

Bowling on saturday was so much fun had a laugh and a good gossip and i won both games of bowling which also helps to enjoy the night more :)
I stayed away from all the food the others had so also from that respect a good night
I went to my parents on sunday for roast beef dinner yum yum i made my roast potatos syn free (not cooked in oil but sprayed with frylight) and took some jeans round to see if my mum could take them in slightly, as im at the stage i need new jeans (old and too big) but am not spending money on new clothes that will not fit me by the summer (fingers crossed)

Today i think i have over loaded on fruit but really enjoyed it and feel really good for it just need to watch the natural sugars there i think

Sarah

Thanks Sarah for digging out that SW info for me. I shall give some of those a whirl...

Have a fun night out at the birthday celebrations.

Take care

No problems if theres any foods your wondering about let me know i can tell you if its free or the syn value etc

Well i think this week has been a good week and i am hoping to loose another 1lb tomorrow night my scales are showing the loss already so hope the SW scales are nice to me!!!!

Im on a late today 12-8pm so i have had to think more about what to eat and when i decided to have pasta now at 11am then take a sandwich in for about 5pm and have fruit throughout the day by the time i get in about8.30pm i think it will be too late to digest anything So will see how this goes i have 1 late a week so will be experimenting to find the best way for me

Hi Sarah

Good luck at the SW scales.

I must admit that I try and finish my main meal by 8pm but I was interested to note that Mal has stated on the Lenten challenge thread that time of day doesnt have an impact after all. I know that she has posed a question on the topic to the dietician that is around for a week so I will be interested to see the answer. It will make a big difference to people like you that work odd hours or shifts. It mainly affects us because we used to have our main meal much later (a result of things like we used to work very long hours and after that we spent quite a long time in Greece where it was quite normal to eat much later).

Take care

Congratulations on the 1.5 pounds loss. That is a great result. :hurray:

Congrats on your loss! You're doing great! I wish I was losing as steadily as you are!
Good luck on your weigh in tomorrow!

Well maintained this week but thats really good considering!

There have been family issues with hubbys alcoholic uncle so i have been grabbing dinner mainly from a chippy on our way to various family members is the short story but quite stressful for all involved

but this week is going to be better i have started a fresh today and have got a new food diary to fill in
i am still at 14 stone 1lb (197lb) so for next week i want to be 1.5lb less to break that stone barrier so i can say 13 stone something

hoping to pop in a bit more i have been so tired from work but i am getting used to it now

sarah x

hey good to hear rom you again. sorry you've been having a stressful time. i agree having maintained is great considering.

good luck with that barrier. hope this time next week you've broken through it.

hope you had a good day

;-)

x

Maintaining is good! Always better than gaining, at least! :)

Im sorry about your family issues, hope everything will be allright soon.

Good luck with your breaking-the-stone week!

Happy Valentine's day!

Hi Sarah

You can certainly consider maintaining to be a success in itself when you have been having a difficult time. Let's face it - the chippy is not the place to get food that will get rid of the weight that you want to lose - but it is tasty and convenient. We all resort to that type of thing at times.

I am sorry to hear of the family issues. I hope that they get resolved soon.

I loved getting through that 14 stone barrier and know that you will too. I know that it will happen for you as soon as things all get back to normal.

Take care

HI everyone

Hope your all doing well!!!

Im doing ok meals have been so much better since wednesday (after weigh in) im determined to loose at least 1.5lb
Hubby made a lovely sponge cake when i got home from work the other day (he was off all day) so i had a tiny slice and stopped myself for going back for more, woke up the next day (my day off) and though i will have a slice with lunch only to find the whole thing had gone!!! yup he had eaten the rest of it, a 7" cake gone in less than 24 hours! but saves me eating a second piece.

Had an upsetting day in work on saturday so really wanted to comfort eat it was all i could think about on my way home chocolate chocolate chocolate, but came home hubby had made dinner (again thats thurs, fri and sat) and i had a glass of wine, (so i couldnt drive and buy half of asda's chocolate) so i didnt buy anything and felt good about it.

Family situation is still up in the air but at least hubbys uncle has admitted he is an alcoholic and needs help, he has been the doctors for tests and we have barred his phone number from nan and grandads phone so he cant harass them and upset them so just waiting to see what he does next

Well im cooking roast chicken today with carrots, peas, mash, roast potatoes (SW style) and gravy so really looking forward to that

Im going out on friday with my old work friends they are going out at 5pm for a meal then pub for drinks im working till 8 so i will miss the meal which can only be a good thing and i will join them for drinks at 8.30pm when i get home from work!

Going to pop in to peoples diaries now to catch up
Take Care

:waving:Hi Sarah!
I am excited to see that you are now well below 200 lbs! It just feels so good to get back into "one-derland" I know! It appears that you've been doing pretty well, in spite of the emotional strain of family issues. There are times when I would much rather be a hermit!!!:willy_nilly: hee hee

Well, keep up with the good work. Once summer hits, you'll be looking and feeling so much better this year than last year! You go, girl!

Cheers
