Back up to 204 today. WHYYYYYY!! Dear god, it's taking a MILLENNIUM to get under 200. For the love of fuck. Very irritated. I've been PERFECT and I've been exercising like a fiend with my 4 mile walks and my work-out DVD's. Sigh.

Will be perfect again today and see what happens in a few days.

Only working 2 hours today so gonna pick up a few things for Yank's birthday and then go to a friends to see her and her babies :) Then home by 4pm--and then cleaning :ack: Will post my food later :)

Meeting was over very quickly--Walked 4.5 miles and burnt 560 calories! Going to relax for a bit then do some cleaning and buy some beer! :D
 
I totally feel for you! I want to get to one-derland so bad and my weight was dropping nice and consistently throughout june and now its slowing down.... Noooooooo!

The walk to work and back sounds great! Not only the extra calories burnt, but I found when I was doing lots of walking everyday (before I drove and the busses didn't run very frequently to my neighborhood so I would bus part way and walk the rest) I felt so much better and happier. The extra endorphins!

I think I'm going to try to start walking to work to. You've inspired me!

Can't wait to celebrate with you when we break the 200s! :D
 
I was also hovering just above the 200lb mark before I slipped. I'm sitting at 208.8 today so I still have a bit to go to get close again. It's frustrating, but I guess we just have to keep fighting to get there right? :)
 
My body always seems to test me by jealously hanging on to weight right when I near a big goal....persist, persist, persist! It will happen if you keep your focus, turn the frustration into motivation. Kick it's ass!

Woop! And I'll add another 500 calories and 4 miles with tomorrows walk. I'm trying to up my average speed and such so I have some goals to work towards as well.

Just keep going and maybe make sure you are eating enough every day. Drink tons of water (heh, I need to drink more of that crap... I mean good stuff.... myself!!) You will go down, don't worry!

Afternoon everyone :coolgleamA: Hope we are all enjoying ze sun. I have sunburn so am hiding inside like the pale vampire I am. It's horrible, can't stand the heat. Had Yank's birthday BBQ yesterday (sore heads all round this morning) and it was lovely. Went swimming in the sea at 1 this morning with all my friends are it was warm and beautiful. Twas an awesome evening.

So last week I burnt 2400 calories and walked 16 miles in 5 days. Really pleased with myself. Aiming to take a longer route this week.

Not going anywhere near the scales with how much I drank last night. Will weigh in tomorrow!

And yeah, Ruth, work was fab this week. I'm tired from all the walking but I'm sleeping better and my anxiety hasn't been as bad as it has been recently so I'm taking that as a good sign. The kids are always getting arrested and doing drugs so I spend a lot of time on the phone to the police and sorting out court dates but it's very chilled out when you're not getting called a "dinny c**t". My language is going to very colourful after work here a while!

Sounds like you had a great BBQ. That's an awesome amount of walking. I'd really like to add in walking everyday (at least on days with semi decent weather!
 
Thanks guys :) Walked 6 miles today as I walked to work, then to the hospital, then home! Had my x-ray so got a phone consultation with my doctor on Friday to discuss my ankle.

Also, on a side note--I'm trying to quit smoking! It's been 30 hours since I last had one. I have my e-cig to keep me sane but hoping to chuck that soon as well! I'm back up to 205 today though (obviously :ack2:) so I imagine I'm going to have to work hard to not replace my cigs with crisps and snacks. Very frustrating because I had such a good week and just keep loosing and gaining the same 4lbs. But quitting smoking is important as well. Doesn't help that we have no money (Yank's tooth is going to cost £70 at least to fix) so that means no fresh fruit or anything until payday (31st).
