My Big Fat Journal

ooooh, I love cookbooks. :)
Sounds like a great bike ride!! Just think how good you'll feel when you can ride back to work without walking in between. LOL
Hope everythings going good for you!

Afternoon Pineola!
Poking my nose in to your journal to see how things are going for you!

That workout via lunch break sounds like a great one for sure! Good for you!

Good luck on the "getting some business done". That can be frustrating and painful. Lots of helpful info that Patty shared with you. I hope something in there helps.

Keep up the great work! And way to go on the loss!

I found a cookbook put out by the Kellogg company. It is all recipes of breads and things made out of All Bran Cereal. I made some Sweet Potato Bran Muffins that were pretty good. Today I am going to try to make home made Pitas. I'll let you know how it works out!

This sounds pretty interesting. I've recently gotten into All Bran cereal. I think I'll google this cookbook and see what I find. I want those sweet potatoe muffins! :)

Every pound lost, is another pound you're not wearing!!
GOOD JOB!

Piney, you really are doing an amazing job :D
Let us know how the pita turns out!

All of this is new to me also, I am just looking for an outlet and to talk with people who are in the same position! I need the extra little push:) im looking forward to talking to all of you though so please feel free to message me. just to let you know a little bit about me, im one of the ones that was doing well for a while and then i plateaud and gained some of it back. Im now trying to jump back on and keep pushing. Any advice is very much appreciated!

Hey ya'll. The Pitas turned out pretty good. Some of them did not separate correctly so they are just a tasty flat bread, but it is a lot of bread for 150 calories and 5g of fiber. I'll post in the recipe thread later.

So I need a kick in the ass this week. I'm eating too much. I am getting in lots of good healthy foods, but I am high on cals most days in the 1900 range and I am not drinking enough water. I went and picked up the exercise bike my friends was giving me. It is a really nice one and I think once I get a new seat for it I will like it a lot. I have not been able to walk during my lunches because I have been so busy I barely have time for lunch, but I am taking a 4 day weekend and my goal is to ride the bike 20mins every day and take a 40min walk every day. I also need to post here more often. I have gotten away from checking on everyone and I so like to read about how ya'll are doing (especially you M2M--you are my hero). So starting right now---water, water, water---no eating after 8pm, Bike and walk, Bike and walk, Bike and walk. I am going to do this everyday for the next 4 days. My 4 day goal. If I can't do that, I may as well just let someone else take the strings!!!! Can you tell I'm cranky?

Oh, I almost forgot. I bought a new pair of pants today and they were 2 sized down from what I wore at the begining of June!!! That makes me feel good. Thanks for stopping by everyone.

Wow. That's great Piney! What a difference one summer makes! Good job!!

hi-5's on the pant size! Way to go!

So you need a kick in the ass? I don't agree, you know what you're doing wrong, and obviously time is a factor. Your goal of 20 minutes on the bike, and 40 on the feet sound like a pretty good start. No eating after 8 is also a nice rule to have, although my rule is no eating after midnight... scary things happen if I break that rule :D

Best of luck to you, you can do it!!!

p.s.
did I just sound like rob schneider there? lol

WOW!! Way to go! You better shake your new, smaller booty in those 2 sizes smaller jeans!! :D

Have a DIVALICIOUS day!!
