My Big Fat Journal

My big problem food at parties (this is a reply from the post on page 2) is the cheese plates. I eat way too much of it and I regret it later. So I try to keep myself to the salads and etc.

Looks like your doing great hon, from your ticker!! I haven't weighed myself lately so I have no idea if I've gained or lost.

haaaaa, i agree Mal, i am so sick of the self help books i could hurl......... blah blah blah, inner crap blah blah blah just do it, if only i had spent alla the time i wasted reading thoes books exercising instead.:eek: ..........hummmm yes i might look very diffrent today!!!!;)

I say that about TV. If I'd exercised instead of all the hours I've watched TV - or never ate while watching TV, yeah I'd be different today.

I really don't go for the psycho babble either. I can't believe that Dr. Phil is able to make so much money being overweight and selling diet books. As for the rain--man that was something. It killed my week, but I am going to get that walk in tomorrow if I get drenched dang it.
 
Hey, Ya'll. Thanks for stopping by. I had a fairly good weekend. Got a crap load of stuff I've been meaning to do done. Eating wise, Saturday was a big bust. I went over 3000 calories. As usual, biggest mistake was not knowing/planning what I was going to do. I had may too many sweets. Pecan pie and Chocolate Biscotti. A pc of pizza for lunch which would have been fine, but went to Logan's for dinner--ate the bread, had buffalo wings and some Capt'n and diet coke plus dinner. Oh, well....can't do great everyday. I've everything planned out for next week. All veggies cleaned, chopped, sliceds. Chicken Chili in the fridge. Turkey Breast for lettuce wraps and all the old stand bys--Luna bar, stuff for smoothies, cottage cheese and salsa. That should do me.

I have to give myself an exercise goal for the week as well. 10 miles on the stationary bike. 10 miles walking. Go to gym twice and do weight training. I think I can do it. I have a lot of studying to do this week too, so I need to be diligent. I want to lose 3 lbs this week. I think I am going to cut way back on the carbs and see if it makes a difference.

wow how organized. I really should do that but then I can't go through the ritual of running around in circles trying to figure out what to eat.
