Michelle (honeychild's) Diary

Thanks girls...

I actually have been doing walking between 30 - 45 minutes a day but I just haven't been putting it down. I just find I have to keep track of my food or i may get out of line, so putting it in the diary keeps me in check! I think I need to do more than walking though, I keep saying i'll go for a jog or ride the bike, but after making dinner, helping kids with homework, ballet and soccer, lunches it's like 8:30pm and I'm tired! LOL. I guess I'll have to fit it in there somewhere.

Todays another day.

glad to see you are adding a few more calories to your menu, although I know getting busy makes it hard.

hey, I can hardly wait to get to your starting weight! Ill bet with an 8 pound loss, you are really feeling a difference! I find that the closer to goal I get, the less weight it takes for me to lose that I notice it in clothes fitting, etc.

Keep at it!

Thanks guys...

I am going to try to do 30 minutes on the stationary bike tonight! I will definetly being doing at least 20 minutes though!

Hafta get back to work!

GO FOR 30!!!!:p

WoooHoo!! you can do this! Shoot for 30 minutes! Think about it. If you added just ten minutes extra only a couple days a week, before long, its going to show just where you want it to !! I try to do more here and there on my workouts, not all the time, just once in a while. Makes me feel SOO good when I put that extra little bit in it. Youre going to feel it too! Just this one time.

Better to add extra workout minutes than extra calories!

Well... I only did 20 minutes on the bike last night... and 60 sit ups, my daughter was home with me and was bored, so I promised her i'd do 20 minutes and then we'd play Bratz. But... I can notice a difference, my jeans are fitting looser, soon i'll be back in my smaller jeans. YAY.

We're having Lean Cuisine Chicken Alfredo YUM.

Mike will be home tonight so i will do 30 minutes on the bike.

Hello Honeychild! I've missed you. Looks like you are doing great. I really love those lean cuisines! Yum, and Alfredo is my favorite.

Good job with the situps! You're motivating me to knock the dust off my ab machines. I need my pants to fit looser and fast. haha. Congratulations on your 8lb loss! Looking good! Keep it up.

P.s. I just noticed that you had asked me a question in my journal about digestive enzymes. Here's a little something I cut and pasted from the internet.

"The Importance of Digestive Enzymes in our Diets

Every normal function of every single cell in our body relies on enzymes. Their activity regulates the speed and efficiency of the body's metabolic functions. Enzymes function as catalysts for thousands of specific biochemical reactions, from digestion to the repair of tissue. Research has revealed thousands of different enzymes, each with a specialised task. Among their many functions, enzymes:

Digest food - making it small enough to pass through the intestines into the bloodstream
Convert food particles into usable nutrients for nourishing and building cells, tissues, and organs
Help store sugar in the liver and muscles
Break down fat into fatty acids
Break down protein into amino acids
Help eliminate carbon dioxide from the lungs
Help to eliminate wastes and toxins from the body
Help the body absorb nutrients
Support the immune system"

My friend and I read about these in the "Natural Cures" book. She said she started taking the enzymes and didn't change her diet and started losing weight. I figured I'd give it a try. = )

Hey there!! Your doing awesome!! That sounds like some stuff I eat for breakfast (tomato soup) I can eat things like that for breakfast but my dh can eat breakfast food anytime of the day.. I can't.. Your food looks great though!! Keep it up!!

Thanks Christina! I know I'm bad for breakfast... I work 5 days a week and have to be here at 8:30am so with getting the kids to daycare and getting myself to work I just don't have time to make a breakfast at home, so I grab something fairly easy! I've never been a huge breakfast eater, I'd rather eat a sandwich or something! Whew someone can relate to me, everyone usually thinks it's strange! Mike is always laughing at me cause he'll be making a huge breakfast on the weekends, and I'd rather have soup or something else. LOL. Thanks for stoppin by.

cheers
michelle

I do love peanut butter and banana, I just never think to grab it in the morning, I love the Adams all natural peanut butter it's so good! Thanks!
