I am interested in how a hundred years ago, psychology became so relevant and interesting to the whole population because so much amazing theory was being formulated by absolute geniuses in the field. The artists were very inspired by this and also by the influx of art from "primitive" non-western cultures. The art world just exploded with incredibly creative works around that time, and then the world wars happened and artists scattered, and technology and innovation became what was the exciting new thing. Well, I think we need all that psychological genius and artistic exploration of our humanity again now, and that the wars curtailed those cultural movements, and society never truly integrated what was discovered. I would like to do very big works eventually about creativity and positive psychology expressed in images.
