I am interested in how a hundred years ago, psychology became so relevant and interesting to the whole population because so much amazing theory was being formulated by absolute geniuses in the field. The artists were very inspired by this and also by the influx of art from "primitive" non-western cultures. The art world just exploded with incredibly creative works around that time, and then the world wars happened and artists scattered, and technology and innovation became what was the exciting new thing. Well, I think we need all that psychological genius and artistic exploration of our humanity again now, and that the wars curtailed those cultural movements, and society never truly integrated what was discovered. I would like to do very big works eventually about creativity and positive psychology expressed in images.

I can´t imagine you being a bad influence on anyone, but our own experience not being a good fit for others is a very normal thing. That´s one of the reasons this forum is great: you get a lot of different viewpoints you can pick and choose between. I hope you´re doing well and am glad you´re taking the time to care for yourself. That sounds lovely. Enjoy! Thanks Cate, I am actually doing yard work, painting and having fun with K - so you are picturing well! Hope you are doing happy uplifting things now, too!!
Ahhh, the joys of unregulated capitalism...No, it's a monopoly.
sorry to hear you lost food this way. i have a pretty big freezer for a single person, so one thing i do solves two concerns. i have about half a dozen large freezer bags i filled with water and froze. a fuller freezer runs more efficiently than an empty freezer full of air. then if power should go out, i can move the ice bags into the refrigerator and it becomes an ice box.... for at least a lot longer than a refrigerator will stay cold....... Power is on and I cleaned the fridge top to bottom after lots of food spoiled. ....
