Marsia's Diary

How lovely! It reminds me of my grandmother, who went to a nursing home at 90 years old. The amusement program was heavy on arts and crafts and after a while she started - among other things - doing watercolor pictures of every bunch of flowers she got, to remember them after they went bad (which undoubtedly increased the amount of flowers she got, too, and she loved flowers). Her eyesight wasn´t great and she hadn´t done art ever but it was wonderful to get her view of the world in that way.

My face got skinnier - I don't feel like me anymore! Maybe I will become someone new!!
Just a new you please, you're awesome as is!

Marsia it's fall here too but we are being blasted with lots of rain. Sounds like an awesome day is planned for you with mindfulness and art . Enjoy it x

Well done on the weight loss. I imagine when you’ve been with someone for a long time, the relationship goes through ebbs and flows. It’s nice that an effort is being made though.

I feel like we are friends, but not close friends. But that's better than where we were, so I am just going to be patient and try to figure out what I can do to make things better.
:grouphug: Please don't feel that there has to be something you can do to make your relationship better. You seem so thoughtful & I feel sure that you are very considerate of J & his feelings. Have a good week M & take care of yourself M :grouphug:

Good for you, fielding the illness, and managing to rest and self-care through it all (which is absolutely fundamental! Like they say in the air "first fit your own mask..."). Don't fret about catching up with all the diaries - this place moves pretty fast, and if you try to read everything that's happened in a week you'll just over load yourself, which wouldn't be good.
Enjoy cosy fall, with leaves doing their wonderful autumnal thing, and the woodfire glowing away! :)

Good to have you back, Marsia, and even better to hear you're well again. Some of my best childhood memories are of my family all sitting around the woodstove reading peacefully. The feeling of togetherness without having to talk is wonderful.

Family sitting around the wood fire doing their own thing is lovely. You sound like you are being restored & rejuvenated. Happy times ahead, xoxo

Fresh air & sunshine? That sounds like a good idea. :grouphug:
Catching up here takes so long these days. Let's get out of here .....
:leaving:

It´s great to hear that your therapist gets you. Sounds like you´re doing really well! How were the kelp noodles taste-wise?

Hello, lovely :grouphug:
I am going to look into self-acceptance a bit more, but just found this-
“Our mistakes and our imperfections are not bad or wrong or failures–they are the fingerprints of humanity and opportunities for learning, healing and growth.” ~Marter.
