You are so close to your 100 lbs mark!! so a month to go? (ETA)

We have snow in the forecast here too - hope it wont happen. i want spring already!!!

Have a good day!

The model predicts me at 130 pounds lost at the one year mark, and has me reaching a sub 25 BMI before the second year ends.

Where is this model? Is she cute? Har Har

I was about to post something here, and in doing so noticed I just hit a nice benchmark. At 282.5 my BMI has dropped below 40! Apparently that drops me from 'extremely obese to obese' in the BS BMI category scales. Funny, I don't feel any different.

Anyhow, THE FUTURE!:

You are so close to that 100 lbs, MrVee. I would celebrate just being 'obese,' rather than 'extremely obese.' :p A year from now, you could be in the 'overweight' or maybe even the 'average' category! Do you think you don't feel any different because the change has happened over several months? 92 lbs is a good chuck of change.

No I don't feel any different now that I'm only 'obese' than two days ago when I was 'extremely obese.' I definitely feel a lot different at 283 pounds than I did at 375.

Nice work MrVee, the World Cup in Brazil would be crazy! They love soccer so much over there.

I've just realised I've gone from obese to overweight haha, I'm happy to be overweight! Like you said, one day didn't seem different to the other, but overall there is a bit of a difference. For me especially in my fitness.

Keep up the good fight.

Holy crap, weather just got biblical here! It's not snowing but it looks exactly like it. I even made a "snow"ball.

Pictures to come.

Update here are some pics. Someone picked the wrong time to walk their dog. HAILSTORM:

And a view from the steps of my place. That is hail covering the entire ground:

And finally my hailball. Don't want to get hit with this one:

Wow, that's quite the weather and that hail ball is huge! Hope you didn't have any damage from that to your car or anything.

Nice pix - we got ice here today too - it melted fast though!

You inspired me to check out my BMI...Mine is 40! One more pound and it's 39!!
2 years ago I was celebrating going under 30 ugh!!

Anyway you are doing just great!

We had some snow this morning, but then it got up to 60 degrees or so. Makes it hard to know how to dress for the day. :p

Can't believe you guys are all getting snow and ice!! It's been weeks on end of high 30s/low 40s (celsius) and dry thunderstorms here... Expecting monsoonal weather and a severe tropical cyclone next week, good times.

Actually I've never seen snow, haven't even seen a morning frost for several years (not since I was living down south!)

You're crazy close to 100lbs lost MrVee, that's amazing!! Well done!!!!

283 on weigh-in morning. Leave for my first plane ride after the weight loss in a week.

While there's going to be plenty of water on the ground, it shouldn't be crazy dangerous to drive today as I'm sure it was last night. I had the common sense to stay in as I can't imagine Arizona drivers are too good driving on a layer of hail.

Think I'm going to try and play a little basketball today. I'm a little hooked. When I get under 250, I may scout around looking for an over 35/40 league, or maybe just a low level all ages league (if the players aren't all that great, I can run with younger players).

Wow sounds like a great plan - getting involved with a team would also keep you slim :)
You are not far off from that!

As a New Englander, I'm driven to chuckle whenever a "warm state" has any form of frozen water on the ground. Mind you, I'm sure there are AZ-based driving conditions I couldn't handle (Tumbleweed? Rattlesnake flood?).

Anyway, enjoy the flight and the extra elbow room!

I think it would be great for you to get involved in some kind of team sport. It's a great way to get some exercise, meet some people, and make it not feel like a chore. :D

Going great on the weight loss - 283!! Are you flying the plane or just travelling? You should feel a nice difference when you sit in the seat. I absolutely hate planes as I fit as snug as a bug in that seat and would always have to get up to get the safety belt. It would be so awesome to fly again after the weight loss and fit in nice and easy.

Your basketball idea to play with a team is probably the best thing you've said in a long while:p that would keep you focused and force you to do the practices once or twice a week. Good confidence booster and nice way of picking up girls when you play!! LOL
