Halfway point and 270s coming up. You've done awesome and you will continue to do so. As soon a you hit the 270s you'll be more than half way done or have less than half way to go.

Just remember the glass is always completely full, unless the glass is in a vacuum.
 
Even though you have a lot to do until you reach your goal weight - i think you should feel a sense of accomplishment!!!

Mr Vee, you are about to reach a major turning point. Half way to your goal weight is a great achievement. I agree with all of the above comments. I think you should give yourself heaps of credit for how far you have come. I feel sure that everyone else in here, who read your diary, are confident that you will get there & also happy to be getting to know you better. Cheers, Cate
 
Also agree with everyone. You've reach a HUGE milestone! You should use this satisfaction to push you through the next part. You are doing so well. And yeah, you are funny too which is an extra bonus on here :)

Thanks a lot for the kind words guys. I know I've made a ton of progress, so I should be proud, but I also know that complacency has been a problem for me in the past, so I'm trying to stay a little on guard.

282 again today after getting re-hydrated apparently.

Personal training today and after I get back, I will officially be in 'crazy busy' mode.

Have an extremely important business meeting tomorrow morning that could go in many directions (some good, some good with scary consequences, some bad) .

Then I leave town the next morning for more business related stuff on a cross-country flight. And I also have work that I must get finished before I leave.

My smart phone should arrive today, so that will keep me occupied.

I have been exercising around 6 times a week for a while now, and after today I have no scheduled exercise through the weekend. Now I'll be running around airports carrying luggage and then walking about a relatively unfamiliar city without a car, so that has some natural exercise. I'm sure the hotel has some equipment too, but I'm not sure how busy I'll be at the convention.

Anyway, out of time. Must get ready for personal training. Thanks again for the kind words. I'll try and post updates from time to time on my smart phone, but you'll see a little less of me for the next 5 days or so.
 
Hey good look with that important meeting!! I hope it goes well.

ps/ What kind of smart phone did you end up buying? I want to get one sometime this summer.
 
Am I the only one interested to know what type of smartphone MrVee got? Android or iPhone? hahaha...am I the only weirdo?!?!

Well the phone hasn't come yet thanks to the wonderful customer service provided by the folks at my wireless company, but when it does come today, it will be a Samsung Galaxy SIII.

281 this morning and the model has me at 280.8.

Big business meeting in the late morning which has my nerves a little frazzled, and then I catch my first baseball game of the year with my Dad after that.

My food plans for the trip are somewhat flexible, the big key is to eat a reasonable amount of food during the day, and to try and stay away from a ton of fried stuff, and let the chips fall where they may.

Gonna still try and check in every morning tomorrow and while at the conference, but it will probably be fairly short stuff.

Well it was bound to happen some time, but it's been months now and so it's now time for that favorite past time: drunk posting! Woo hoo! This really isn't too bad, as it seems like the only serious effect is my typing is terrible right now.

A lot of words like 'yourslef' and 'r9ght' and other sorts of poorly targeted keystrokes. Hopefully I won't feel too bad on the flight that takes off in seven hours.

Great choice in phone, I also have the S3 after switching from Blackberry. Good luck with your meeting. And as you say don't go overboard, just keep it sensible.
