Looking to lose an extra human I apparently picked up along the way

First of all, you can really see a difference in the photos you've posted. All that hard work is really paying off for you! Second of all, that's a really sweet story about your sister. It sounds like she's very proud of you, rightfully so. It's great that you have such a supportive family. My family is supportive too and it is very helpful! I hope you're doing well today. :)

Still no morning weigh ins due to housesitting but I'm doing well on the diet and exercise front, so everything should be ok.

But we stepped up the legs workout on Tuesday and it's now Thursday and I'm still aching like I'm not sure I have before. My legs are just not working right now. I don't know if sleeping in a different bed exasperated things, but I'm eight ways from sore and have another training session today. Fortunately it's not a leg workout, but I still have to stand on them and usually we have a short warmup on the treadmill.

I have a few hours until then, so maybe they'll loosen up a bit by then.

OUCH! Hope they do loosen up. It won't hurt if your trainer knows how much you're hurting as he (she?) can then adjust your program. Looking at your signature today reminded me how much you have achieved in such a relatively short time. The word awesome is sadly much over-used, but what you have done already is really bloody awesome Mr Vee! Cheers, Cate.

Tonight (Sunday) will be the eighth night I've slept here. One more night sleeping here tomorrow night and then I spend the whole day here on Tuesday and go home Tuesday night.

It's a massive hassle to be honest. The model has me at 244.5 on this upcoming Wednesday morning. We'll see what it actually is then.

I'm home, finally!! Unofficial weigh in says 243 which is phenomenal as usually a weigh-in for the middle of the day is at least a pound higher than the morning ones. Fingers crossed for tomorrow.

I don't know how folks stand waiting a week between weigh-ins. The waiting was killing me. This probably has something to do with being insane.

Congrats! You're very close to your next goal. Looks like you'll have no problem getting there! :)

I know what you mean about the weigh ins. With the exception of my last funk I couldn't stand not weighing in daily. It's just a great way to make sure you're staying on track. Even though it's not showing the "whole picture". :)

Ah, my weight fluctuates way too much to weigh in daily. It'd probably make me lose my mind!

Have to say well done, think you're about 50lbs less than when I was here last. Awesome!

243! WOW!! I bet it's good to be back home again! 243......!!!!! & being a little insane is not a bad thing I think....I hope!

242.5 for the first official weigh-in for 9 days.

It's awfully nice to be home. Personal training later today. Looking at my training booklet, it looks like June 29, 2012 is the day I walked into the Health Club last year to sign up for all of this, June 30, 2012 was my fitness evaluation day, and July 2, 2012 was my first personal training session.

IOW, this is the final week of year one of the process. Barring catastrophe, looks like I'll be down over 130 pounds the first year.

This is really, really amazing. Great work!

243.5 this morning. The handy dandy model says 244.2 so I'm pretty much right on track.

Thanks for all the support guys.

Quercus,

I remember seeing Chavez fight Pernell Whitaker back in the day.
