You're a walking calorie burning machine! Interesting attitude towards the working out. Do you see yourself keeping up that intensity whenever you hit your goal weight? You're making me miss tennis too, used to play it when I was a wee lad. Might be something to look into again in the future.

i will intend to go down to 3 days a week as i just won't need that much maintenance to my body to maintain the goal weight. but, by then it could become habit where i just do it everyday. i know i'll definitely cut out saturdays though. how are things burning on your end?
 
Can't complain. Noticing dips in motivation/caring every so often and finding it getting a bit harder resisting things like snacks with coffee, but overall it's all good. Haven't properly dedicated myself to getting into walking everyday yet, but that will come next week. Didn't want to try changing too much at the one time. So hopefully within three to four months I'll be able to challenge you to muscle peck dancing routines.

what changed to make things harder for you?
 
It's not a huge change. Most likely simply the novelty/newness is wearing off. I just need to move from "right I'm doing it, all hands on deck!" to "right, its now a lifestyle". So I don't need to constantly be thinking about it, just need to keep an eye out that I don't slip up.

hahahah you can guess what that stands for, even though i don't swear at all! anyway, today was circuit with legs focus. and boy was it a workout! felt good, no great! today's forecast is sunny and 70 degrees with a ZERO percent chance of rain. Can someone say TENNIS! same for tomorrow, then elliptical on sunday along with bowling. hope all is well with everyone, i'll hit the other threads now!

oh yeah, yesterday i clean out the old car. it was sad to part ways with her, but it had to happen. Love the new car, it rocks!! feels nice to be in the new millennium!

it seems that my thread is going nowhere anymore, so i may not be posting as much. weekend was good. tennis sat. and just relaxed today, i had fried today, which wasn't planned so we'll see how that effects me. anbyway i hope everyone keeps up the good work.

I just wanted to thank you for writing in my diary. I haven't been writing much. I am kind out of sorts. Thirty one, pre menopausal, and not enjoying it one bit. Spring just touching down, however, 25 mile per hour winds, plus not such warm temp just scares me. lol

but I hope you are doing well. It says you are not going to post much, but I figured it would be nice to write back. You definitely l.ifted my mood when you wrote and I thank you. I am sorry I didn't respond right away, with menopause comes this vast amount of exhaustion, ect. Depression, mood swings. My fiance is having all he can do to keep up with those lmao

But I am back and I hope to chat with you soon...

ive been tryin to stretch and rub these knots out of my calves all day today..other than that im peachy. cant wait for the morning to come ready to hammer down again
 
Dont dare stop the diary! I'm slacking behind posting as I usually hit the forums before bed so I dont stay long. But I always read a handful of diaries to see how people are doing and to give myself a bit of motivation too. Just remember that people still read even if they dont post. So please do keep it up.

I have been MIA.... seems i have been SO OVERWHELMED with work and stuff and being so busy out and about with the fabulous weather we have been having... that i havent taken the time on here.... i even slacked on my food journal which i have been VERY faithful on!!!! ha, i didn;t say i was stopping, just not posting as much. we'll see though. I am being harrassed about it now from multiple sources.

Anyway, today i did my reg circuit, with focus on back. things went pretty well, so no complaints there, i noticed i lost another 2 pounds, kinda excited about hitting that 50 lbs mark! anyway. i have TON of work to do today, i am hoping to be out before 8 pm tonight. wish me luck!

things are well with me melissa, i may stick around as i said in the last post. Tennis is wearing me out. i was soo worn that ihad to take sunday off from the gym because i was still so sore from tennis! i hope your bf comes around. he'll get better in no time! hope everything slows down for you so you can get back to your regular life, but i hope you are having fun!
 
tuesday.. it feels so later in the week...

here we are on tuesday. crazy day, I didn't get out of work til 9:30pm last night. Nothing like a 12.5 hour day! anyway i got home made a couple post here and went straight to sleep. Got up at 4:30am hit the gym at 5 and did my 65 min of cardio, another 975 cals burned, so i am happy. i can't seem to stay at a constant 8 mph on level 10. i last about 30 min and thn i trickle down..... ah well. i am pretty happy with the direction my body is going, i am finally starting to really see differences in my gut at least. my chest seems to get tightening up and shrinking back in, but i want this extra chin gone! gosh! its like so stubborn... anyway. i hope all is well with everyone else. ah i think its funny that i get out of work at 9:30pm only to be back by 7am. hahaha. i need this project finished though... take care all. i'll be lurking while i am finishing these models...

I played tennis for an hour last week (for the first time in almost 10 years), and it damn near killed me. What a workout! I plan on squeezing in a session whenever I can fit one in - hopefully as often as once a week.
 
Extra chin!!!! yeah i have one of those too... seems to be the last thing to go!!! lol.

65 min of cardio and 975 burned is great! what machine are you on when you do that??? thats awesome!!! Keep up the good work!!!! im gonna try to do an hour on the cybex machine tonight...... wish me luck... im a big baby about that thing... works me soooo hard!:rant:

not enough sleep. bad. very bad. i was so worn at the gym. i only did two circuits instead of three. no worries, we all have our days, it maybe because is was chest day, and i didn't tone down the weights, since i do incline and decline bench. 185 incline 205 decline, plus, cable flys and military press and such. arms were pretty toast. but i am pretty sure i hit it last week with little problems on the third circuit.... ah well. i found out there is only a 5% of rain until 8 pm, so i am gonna play tennis to make up for it. how is everyone doing? i'm and mentoring a girl at a local college for her capstone (senior) project. she wants to become a modeler working on video games. i hope that all goes well i am able to help her better her portfolio to get a job.... wish me luck.

duuuuuuuuuude, ive so just hit that same spot. i had to drop down to 75 lb dumbells. ick. i feel like a punk.
