uggh hangover...the only thing that works for me is Power ade or Gatorade ..it has to be the grape one...and I usually need to choke down an egg sandwich w/ bacon & cheese & go sleep it off later... it usually works like a charm...of course im too old for that stuff now..now it would take me a week to get back to normal :-D

woo hoo! one week of healthy eating, and doing a fair amount of exercise, and I'm at 144.5!!!

okay girls.. i know today was the day for kicking our butts... and i was a bit on the high end of my daily intake of cals (my goal is between 1200 and 1400)... but you know what... as I write this, I haven't exercised yet... and because of our plan, I'm going to put on some shorts and do a video workout (its too dark to go running by myself)... yay for boot camp!!!

today was the first day back at classes for me... 8-12, and then 1-5 every tue and thur... w/ work mon and wed morns and 5-7 weekdays... craziness!!!

Thanks for all of your support guys! I feel bad that I hadn't been on here for a while and everyone has seemed so down, so I thought i would just try to lift everyone's spirits... I'm glad that it seems to be working =)

I tried to promise myself yesterday that I would be good, but it was our orientation party and there was just too much food and friends and I slipped... oops...

holy cow... i hate it when I'm tired, b/c i make really bad decisions about what I eat and consume... I also hate when I'm stuck in a workshop all day with munchies, b/c they are there and oh so tempting... I just got back, and I am exhausted, but I think that I am going to go for a run and try to make myself not feel so guilty for all that I just pigged out on today and yesterday. I guess I'm not a very good drill seargant if I don't practice what I preach!!!

***edit*** I didn't go running... i had friends call me up for dinner and a movie and skipped all of that to go out with them... i'm disappointed in myself, but at least I'm being honest about it. darn it - i new I should have run before I ran errands...

You know...I fall into that myself ..I put off my workout and then boom a million things come my way to do and than w/ the kids forget about it! I need to work out before the day starts and after they go to bed..or im not going to be! Hey..tomorrow is another day.you try and try again.

well, time for the weekly weigh-in: 144... which means I lost half a pound, which is good b/c I thought that I would have gained with all that crap I ate at the end of last week - and I probably did,but the past two days or so I have been able to turn myself around...

If/when I have time to get out of bed in the morning, i love going for my run... i feel so much better when it is over, but it adds an extra hour to my morning (stretching, getting dressed, cooling down, stretching more, longer shower). And being so busy, it is hard to get up that much earlier... luckily, I had a dr.s appt this morning and wasn't going in to work right away, so I was able to squeeze it in... I just need to suck it up and get up earlier I think...

144!!thats great :D , i love to go for a run too(or jog or blade lol)its such a great stress reliever. its hard to fit it in but feels so great when you do :)
