Steve, can I jump on the ab questions bang wagon?
I've been going to my kickboxing classes about 4x a week and they're great. We do more than punch the bag... lots of drills that include running, squatting, push-ups, ab/core exercises, lunges, and then of course lots of punching and kicking. I've been watching what I eat to an extent... it could be better I realize. I'm not being strict but I'm not being insane either. But what I don't understand is why I'm seeing a difference everywhere except my stomach. It won't budge. It's just as fat and tubby. The fat isn't even getting squishy... it's still on the hard side. When I've worked out/tried to lose weight before I never had problems reducing the fat there. Every other place on my body has budged when I've taken measurements. Any thoughts? Am I going to have bird arms and legs, and big ole Midas tireman belly?
