Went running last night. Wore my weighted vest. Tonight im going to the bleachers! woohoo!

Last night for dinner we had some friends over. Not everyone we have over wants to eat boring and bland like I have been eating. They wanted Tacos [rolls eyes and shakes head] but I did good. Me and my friend went to the grocery store and bought all the regular stuff to make them but I bought me some lean turkey meat. I didn't have any taco shells with mine. I guess I kind of made a taco salad. I mixed up some turkey meat, fat free shredded cheese, lettuce, tomato's and salsa. It was pretty good!

This morning I had a serving of Kashi Go Lean [Honey Almond Flax] with a serving of skim milk.


I bought some organic skim milk last night... Anyone ever tried the organic kind? Is it good?
 
Nice work Kasey, you're doing amazing. I heard on someone elses diary that the organic skim is really good. You keep working so hard, you're gonna be trim and fit in no time at all.
 
I can't wait to have my body back! I was looking in the mirror this morning and I can really start to see [side profile anyways lol] im taking shape. My thighs, butt, legs.... and my cellulite is going away! HAHA... I got a TON when I was pregnant, it was horrible!
 
I just had THE BEST workout!


I met up with my friend at the bleachers and I ran 2 laps around the track, than I ran to sets up the bleachers [these are stadium bleachers, not small at all], than I ran another lap, than did a quarter lap of walking backwards, quarter running, quarter backwards and quarter running. 2 more sets of running the bleachers, than I ran a quarter lap, than I did this awesome workout that worked my outter thighs and butt [don't have a name for it but I did a quarter lap of that] than another quarter running, quarter working my butt and thighs and than running. I ended it with running one more lap.

I am officially POOPED! But man was it awesome! I LOVED IT!



I really do enjoy pushing myself to the limit. Man I missed this shit!
 
wow. I just about collapsed just from reading that. Holy smokes....Do you think youll be sore after that? Did you do a lot of stretching? Fantastic work :hurray::hurray:

I probly won't be to to sore because ive been running but than again I tried some different exercises that I haven't done before. Im not sore right now just achy.
 
HAPPY 4TH OF JULY EVERYONE!

We're taking the baby to watch fireworks tonight [his first fireworks show!] should be fun!

Last night after my MONSTROSITY of a workout Josh was going to grill up some sausages and hot dogs.... NO THANK YOU! Instead I had turkey breast in a Pita pocket [whole wheat] with romaine lettuce and a tbsp on basil pesto sauce. I also had a bowl of cut up watermelon .....okay I admit... I had TWO bowls of cut up watermelon... hey at least it wasn't two bowls of chips or two bowls of chocolate or something!

All night my legs ached. They are not sore just achy, like tired kind of achy.

This morning we went out to BFast and I had half a bowl of oatmeal [they gave me a full bowl which was a lot and I couldn't eat it all... to much] and I had 2 pieces of wheat toast and a coffee :)

I wish I liked exercising like you. I love walking, but thats about it. But Congrats on your awesome workout and have a happy 4th!
 
You are such an exercise queen, you're my inspiration. Lately I've also made myself creative and healthy plans when others are eaing unhealthy stuff around me.

It's the best feeling to know you are taking SUCH good care of yourself, have an awesome week!
 
What a weekend! It was a "long" one but it still seemed like it went by to fast. I didn't workout this weekend at all though and im ashamed of myself for it but I started working on my bike and before I knew it, it was late. I started working on it on Friday afternoon and finished late yesterday afternoon. I got a good arm workout out of it though!

[I know y'all probly don't care but oh well lol] The frame of it is made of aluminum and basically I wanted it polished [give it that mirror/chrome look] and I personally didn't feel like paying someone quite a bit of money to do something I could do. So I did it myself. I basically wet sanded it, first using 220 grit, than 400, 800 1000, and 2000 grit. Once its sanded down and smooth you rub polish on it and buff it in a couple times. It’s a long process but looks good in the end!

Basically I polished my swing arm, sub-frame and lower part of the main frame.


Anyways food wise I guess I did alright. I ate a lot of watermelon on Friday [a lot lol] basically the only thing I didn't do that Great with was making sure I ate exactly 6 times a day. Im telling you when im not at work I get distracted and only end up eating BFast, Lunch and Dinner. Also another thing I hate is the fact ive been following pretty much the same eating routine [food wise] and than the one min. I eat something different than the "norm". I feel like a cow or I blew myself off or something. Yesterday for lunch I had a hot dog [made with turkey instead and 98% fat free on a whole wheat hot dog bun but because it was a hot dog [something different] and not chicken OR tuna than I feel guilty... I know I shouldn’t but that’s the kind of mentality I have which I need to work on! Today im going to the bleachers to do another workout like Thursday!
 
Your bike looks great, good work, I bet it did give you a good arm workout! 98% fat free hot dog is nothing to berate yourself about. I know what you mean when you say it is easier to eat right and at the right times at work. I am the same way, there aren't as many eating distractions for me at work. I just pack my lunch the night before and that's all I have available to me for the day. It totally cuts out the impulse eating that can occur for me at home.

Wow its been a little bit since I posted. Don’t worry I am still on the ball. I however haven’t worked out Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Last week my workout performace was decreasing everyday and I figured that was my bodies way of saying “Hey take a fucking break!” lol… So I took a break. Not only that my shins started hurting ever since I upped my workout at the bleachers. Its not to to bad but I don’t want it to get to the point that I have extreme shin splints and the doctor tells me NO WORKING OUT [for however long] so I figured a 3 day break would do me good [hopefully]

I feel like I ate to much this weekend when actually I hardly ate anything at all! Not my choice though… We went to the Zoo Saturday and the truck’s ignition got stuck in the lock position so me and my friend ended up waiting from 12:30pm till 5pm for a tow truck guy that never showed on the time he said he would. So needless to say I had Bfast that morning at 9am and didn’t eat again until 6pm. EEEEEK!

Saturday I didn’t eat Bfast. Me and my Boyfriend were on our way out to eat BFast before going to get the truck towed but they called and said they would be at the truck in like 30mins so we didn’t go eat BFast. [Mind you this is my BF’s truck lol] So he stayed home with the baby to clean the mess him and his buddies made the night before [they were grilling and all that fun stuff] and I went with my friend to go get his truck. So… I didn’t get to eat until 12:30-ish in the afternoon.

Ya so my diet sucked this weekend. Even though I hardly ate anything I feel like I gained 10lbs… probly because I haven’t been working out. Oh well, today is Monday and my 3 day break is over!


Not sure what im going to do today. Probly just run at home. I got two more tattoos yesterday [my sons name in Tengwar Cursive] on both arms [His first name on my right upper arm and his middle name on my left upper arm]. Tattoo isn’t done. Im going to add more once its healed. [I have 12 total now]. But anyways I know new tattoos can’t [or shouldn’t] be exposed to sunlight… so I’ll just wear a T-Shirt [I usually wear a tank top] so the sleeves will cover the tattoos. Im not sure if the sweat will be good for it though… I worked out with all my other tattoos but it was usually a week after I got them.

1 serving of Kashi Go lean oatmeal
1 Cup of fresh mixed fruit. [watermelon, pineapple and strawberries]

Snack
1 cup of fresh mixed fruit [same as above]

Lunch
Fresh Deli turkey breast [1 slice] on 20grain honey wheat bread [I figured I would try the honey wheat instead of the usual plain ol’ wheat] with 2 slices of romaine lettuce, 1Tbsp of Basil Pesto sauce and 1 slice of reduced fat swiss cheese.


Not sure what we’re having for dinner. I could go for a big fresh salad!
 
About the tattoos and sweat... google it! :)

Im not done yet. Im putting a black and blue nautical star above each name on each arm and on the first pic I am putting his footprint below the name and the second pic im putting his zodiac symbol below the name.
 
I am so mad at myself. I went to go run today and my shins hurt worse than they did before I took my 3 day break from working out!

Im going to try and run tomorrow. Tonight im going to soak them and stretch them, tomorrow when I wake up im going to stretch them good.

I can't wait to get my Turbo Jam! Than I can do that so my shins can [somewhat] heal lol.
