You are really doing great, your workouts kick butt! I hope to be able to actually run someday. Right now I am working my way up to all out running by doing intervals of fast walking and running on my treadmill. I keep trying to add to the running time, but you are doing awesome with your running. Your diet also sounds really great, you will definitely reach your goal.

Keep at it! I remember before I started running I could barely make it 200ft without dying! I started running by doing what your doing and within a couple of months I was able to run a mile without stopping and eventually I got more and more distance. It feels great to run. Ive been running for 5yrs now and love it!
 
Lunch today [I need to go grocery shopping!] was buffalo chicken breast [deli meat] in a flaxseed/oat bran/wheat Pita with a serving of Light Mayo. I wanted a sandwich on regular whole wheat bread today but like I mentioned I need to go grocery shopping lol.

I can't think of any other foods that I should add to my list. Can anyone think of anything else I should try out?



I need to start taking progress pics. I took a pic of my "Mothers Apron" [belly] 2 months ago and I almost puked lolololol... I kid, I kid. No but it was pretty gross looking. I refuse REFUSE to get surgery to fix my stomach area. I can live with the stretch marks but I am determined and KNOW the skin can tighten [overtime] with exercise and eating right. I know a few women who had a much worse "Mothers Apron" than I do now and from diet and exercise they now have flat stomachs. It is very much possible and I won't make excuses and resort to having my stomach cut up. I already had a c-section... thats enough knife for me.
 
Doing great Kasey! Nice grocery list. I worry if my skin will shrink back as well. I sure hope so. Oh well... I'd rather have extra skin and be healthy then fill that skin with fat.

True that! I do believe overtime skin will shrink. I mean skin has natural elastins in it. When I lost a lot of weight when I was 17 I was putting coca butter on my skin before bed and in the morning when I woke up, along with exercise [to help tighten the skin]. It worked fairly well and made my skin look great lol
 
Well what a day. I was suppose to run sets at the bleachers today but by the time I got out of work it was lightening out and the sky was black so I decided not to go. I went to the grocery store and spent $100.00 on fresh Broccoli, Iceberg Lettuce, Romain Lettuce, Mushrooms, Tomato's, Cucumbers, Apples, Oranges, Grapes, Strawberries, Bananas, Skim Milk, Cheese, Whole wheat bread, Steak [top sirloin] and chuck steaks, turkey bacon, 2 things of organic whole grain rice and 2 cans of organic vegetarian chili.

Tonight for dinner I had about a 4oz steak [top sirloin, Josh had the rest of it which was pretty large], and a serving of steamed broccoli. It was good.

OKAY... So ya I didn't workout today. The lightening quickly subsided about 20mins after I got home from work. I could have easily gone and ran or went to the bleachers and I did not because I didn't want to per say but because someone decided to visit me this month [today] like she does EVERY month. It sucks. I feel like I gained 10lbs overnight, bloated, tired, rundown AND I got the munchies. Its mostly common to crave "chocolate" but not me, I just get the munchies and just want to munch on things. Ive been doing good though. I munched on some turkey breast earlier and later I will probly munch on fruit. I just hate feeling like this. Guys feel lucky!
 
Nice with the grocery choices! It will totally help having so much healthy stuff in the house. I feel you on the TOM issues. I could eat all day and not be full during that time. Be strong!!

Hmmm not a big fan of popcorn. Its one of those foods I have to be in the mood for. I didn't munch on as much stuff as I thought I did yesterday. Just some buffalo chicken breast [got it from the deli] and thats about it...

Well today wasn't to bad. Didn't feel like Friday thats for sure. Here is my foods-

BFast

1 Serving of Go Lean oatmeal [hot cereal] in their Vanilla flavor. [1 serving is 1 packet]
1 glass of skim milk
1 cup of mixed fresh fruit / watermelon, banana, strawberries and grapes.


Snack

1 Cup of fresh fruit [same as above]
1 serving of dry roasted/unsalted peanuts [1 serving is about a handful]
*Haha normally I just eat the peanuts and im good... but ya def. TOM!*


Lunch

1 can of chunk light tuna
1 Tbsp of Fat free mayo [mixed with the tuna]
1 slice of reduced fat provolone cheese [mmm I love provolone]
1 Flaxseed/Oat Bran/Wheat pita [I put all of the above contents into the pita]
1 red delicious apple


Snack

Surprisingly nothing. I was busy at work this afternoon and before I knew it, it was time to go home.



Dinner

Not sure yet whats for dinner but it will obviously be healthy/some what healthy and def. portioned sized!



I wanted to go run the bleachers today after work because I took a down day yesterday and when I was driving home I saw the sky was getting black. I figured maybe ill just stay close to home and run instead [the dark clouds were over where the HS is] than I saw a couple bolts of lightening strike down so..... hopefully it'll pass over like it normally does here in Florida but if it doesn't off to the gym I go! This weekend I will probly buy a new pair of running sneakers. The ones I have now I bought 3months ago and ive been running so much they are starting to feel like the bottoms of them are thinning out. My right foot is also starting to hurt when I wake up in the morning. Its where my arch is that is sore for some reason but goes away after I walk around for a bit. Sooo time for new sneaks!

I was adding up my calories for today so far and weirdly my snack from earlier [the fruit and peanuts] was 298 calories. I didn't even eat that much, you'd think considering, it would have been less than that. My friggin lunch was less calories than my snack and I had more to eat at lunch! lol weird.... Its a conspiracy....
 
So here is why I want to lose weight [well besides the obvious... BABY WEIGHT]. My goal right now is to get down to my pre-pregnancy weight which was 150-155. When I weighed 150-155 I was by no means "unhealthy" looking [inside and out]. BUT I always wanted to be around 125-130 but never really ever got around to doing it. I wasn't to to concerned with losing it to get to 125 but it was on my list of things to do. I figure now... Im already losing weight, mine as well just get the rest off that was "on my list" of things to do. Im not sure how I will look at 125. I hope I don't look to skinny. I hold my weight very well [luckily]. Here are some pictures of me when I was 155. If I do get down to 125 I don't want to lose my legs and butt! [These were all taken just last year :( ]

I didn't go to the bleachers today INSTEAD... I ran... what else is new lol.

Have any of you ever seen them weighted vests made by Golds Gym? You can put up to 20lbs in it. Their great for workouts [of all kind]. Anyways I had bought one last year for when I would go running. I started using mine after I had the baby. I used it maybe about 6 times out of all the weeks ive been running. I figured I would wear it again today. WOOOOO what a great run! MAN I love running. It really makes me feel like im pushing myself to the limit. My body is like GO GO GO GO GO! I am pretty much drenched now in sweat AH love it! The vest is awesome! [I didn't run with the full 20 weights, I ran with 10lbs today. 5 in the front and 5 in the back]
 
Last night for dinner we grilled some chicken breast on the grill with some Jack Daniels BBQ sauce [yum]. Josh also made some macaroni and cheese but I didn't have any. Instead I took my chicken breast, threw a piece of reduced fat provolone cheese on it between to sliced of 24 grain/wheat bread, heated it in the microwave [to melt the cheese] and ate myself a chicken sandwich. It was pretty good.

This morning I had a serving of Fiber one, skim milk and an ice coffee [with skim milk and splenda]. I didn't have a snack because I ate my BFast at 8:30 [during the week I eat it at 6:30am] so I wasn't hungry. At 12 I mixed up a can of chunk light tuna, 1tbsp of low fat mayo and some pepper and made myself a tuna sandwich with reduced fat provolone cheese and 24 grain/wheat bread.

I plan to go to the gym at 3 today and do some strength training. When I come home from the gym I will more than likely go running my usual route. Not sure if I will wear my weighted vest today when I run. Its pretty hot out there right now!

Dinner tonight, not sure. We are having some friends over so whatever... I don't feel like cooking. If everyone just wants to grill cheeseburgers I might have one. Ive been eating pretty good I don't mind have something "not as good" every once in awhile. Plus when I buy hamburger meat I buy the leanest I can find and make my own burgers and I get whole wheat buns.
 
I went to the gym yesterday and did about 30mins worth of strength training. I went and bought some new running sneakers at Foot Locker. I didn't feel like looking through all the different types of sneakers [not to mention paying out the ass for some] Anyways I saw they had the same Nike's on display as the ones ive been wearing for the past 3 months so thats what I bought... easy enough.

I came home and decided to go run before our friends came over. I wore my weighted vest [equipped with 10lbs] and ran my usual route. The new sneakers felt good!

Dinner last night I had a hamburger that was put on the grill. I bought the 93% lean hamburger meat and whole wheat buns. I also bought some of them Light Lays chips [the ridges kind] to have with my hamburger. I bought some light sour cream and mixed in some Rand powder dressing and had some dip with the chips. It was good.

This morning I had a serving of Fiber one with skim milk. I didn't have anything for a snack, but for lunch we went to the new Panara Bread they just opened up in town. I got the Tuna salad sandwich on country wheat. It comes with a bag of chips but I didn't eat them and I got an unsweet tea.

For dinner tonight we cooked on the grill and I made myself a turkey burger. I bought some ground turkey meat so I figured id make a burger. I had it on a whole wheat bun, ketchup, romaine lettuce and a slice of tomato. It was a really big burger so I wasn't hungry for anything else. I didn't work out today. Ive been running every single day and my legs and feet are getting stressed so I figured I would take today off, but tomorrow its back to the street!


I just got done cutting up the watermelon, pineapple, strawberries and taking the grapes off their vine. I put them all in tupper ware and in the fridge they went. Ready to eat for this week!

The skinniest I've been when I knew my weight was 70kg (155 pounds) and I though I looked good! I'm still not sure where to go down to for goal weight, but I'm thinking 165 is a good start! :)

Thanks! Im actually pretty short. Im only 5'3"!
